graph of Nyquist

Hey everybody,

How can I make it more clearly the Nyquist diagram?

On my graphic program connects all points. I wish I had a nice circle.

If anyone knew?

Marek

Hello

Click on this trace near the plot 0 on the top right of the graph and choose the Interpolation, then choose an option without interpolation.

You can also configure many other options of your track it.

Hope this helps,

    Hi all.

This is my first post so try not to tear me to shreads for my lack of knowledge!

Well, my basic project idea is to have an arduino read a signal in labview in series using the XBee. So far, I'm able to get current values of the chart in by numerical values, but I can't seem to actually be able to GRAPH it. I have an example VI that I 'borrowed' from another source... my field of labview knowledge is so small. My goal is to actually chart an ECG signal fairly quickly so that theres a complete waveform that appears for the chart. In fact, I started learning the basics of this February. If it can be done, can someone give me directions? Something will help you!

On the side of the arduino, it is the code. The last 'delay' determines the sampling rate. I read the ECG/EMG of sampling signal must adhere to the theory of Nyquist sampling. Frequency maximum EMG is around 500 Hz (filter before low pass of the ADC is set to cut 500 Hz), the sample should be at least twice the maximum frequency - at least 1000 Hz.

  • Photoshop is used to calculate a spatial frequency graph?

I'm about to start the scanning of slides. To keep storage required under control, I can decide scan images at reduced resolution. There is virtually no difference in distinguisable of clarity between scan 4000 dpi and 2000 DPI on several of my test slides.

Which got me thinking: How can I determine if I can scan a slide at reduced resolution and not lose clarity? One idea is to scan at 4000 dpi, generate a graph of space in PS frequency (if that's the right term), and if there is little more than a certain spatial frequency information, I could re - sample at a suitable resolution less than 4000 in order to reduce the size of the file but not reduce clarity.

By analogy: I've been scan tapes, some dating back to 1972. I can use audio tools to draw a frequency spectrum of the recording and if I find, for example, that a certain early record has a response of 200 to 8 kHz, and then I would lose nothing by resampling to 22.05 kHz instead of CD 44.1 kHz quality.

I don't know if the images have a similar spectrum "frequency". Wikipedia has this to say:

The extent of the narrowness of the lines can be resolved in one image is called spatial resolution, and it depends on the properties of the system of creating the image, not only the resolution in pixels... For all practical purposes, the clarity of the image is decided by its spatial resolution, not the number of pixels in an image.

If my interpretation is correct, that is to say that if you scan a blurry picture at 4000 dpi, you will end up with many more pixels than if scanned at 2000 dpi, but those extra pixels contain no information that could be used to improve the clarity.

Yes, is there a PS tool that analyzes the spatial frequencies in an image? If so, I could use this tool and then tell me: "well, the majority of the information contained in this particular analysis has a spatial frequency less than 1000 lines per inch. If I scan (or re - sample) this image to double that figure (to get above the Nyquist limit), I will not lose any clarity.

There are a few plugins that eliminate the frequencies low ripples of workplaces using the Fast Fourier Transform to filtering. The FFT is required to generate ghosts who would do what you want. Google it.

  • About Grapher

Hi, I tried to graph of the entire greater function Grapher. However, I discovered that I can't put 'int' as a valid command.

Here is the image that shows what it looks like on calculator TI-84.

So, I was wondering if there is another symbol that can replace "int" to Grapher?

    Enjoy it!

  • Of a complete log of Information can I find myself with several graphs of selected information

I received a great response here before, here's something that I'm not sure is possible... but maybe you know.

    Current version of numbers (3.6.1)

So, I create a log of the different courses.  Here is a simplified version of what I do:

The idea is so that I will have separate sheets for each of the classes, where I will have the analysis of numbers.  For example:

What I would like to have on this page is a graph being each class, day by day, showing the presence so that I can follow increases or decreases trends, from the newspaper on the first sheet.

I thought I'd try to find a way to have a referenced version (Alias) of the main newspaper on this sheet, which I can then do a filter before you apply a graphic, or perhaps a function which will only list info in a new table which matches certain information (such as the title of "Workshop").

I can be looking for a function that does not exist, but if there is anywhere I could get a clear answer on this subject, I figure that it would be here.  Thanks for any advice you can give.

Numbers (and other spreadsheets) are good to extract summaries of data and plot summary.  Here's a way, using SUMIFS.

The formula in B2, filled to the bottom of the column:

    = SUMIFS(log::E,log::$B,$a2,log::$C,$A$1)

The formula in C2, filled to the bottom of the column:

    = IFERROR (SUMIFS(log::F,log::$B,$a2,log::$C,$A$1) "/ B2," "")

The SIERREUR function tells number of leave the empty cell if there is an error because attendance is 0.

The graph is 2D 2 axes in the case where you want to do something similar.

Once you have the summary table and table of work, then you can 'clone' them by copy - paste other sheets and put another name of the workshop in cell A1.

  • First HP: Lack of Sections of first graph with steep slopes on HP

I saw somewhere an old post on the Internet where a user was having difficulty to see the graph of y = x ^ 4 (x-2)(x-6) using a "Decimal point" display window and the "Evolutionary" method in the application of the function. The chart has not demonstrated the branch of the chart with the x origin of (6, 0). The response at the time was to use a different window or switch to advanced graphics application. I don't like either of these options, because much cheaper calculators have not this problem.

With a little experimenting, I found that the calculator will be graphic curves where the absolute value of the slope (derivative) is less than about 375 * (Ymaximum - Yminimum) / (Xmaximim - Xminimum) where the minimum and maximum levels refer to the values specified in the configuration of the land. When the curve is steeper than this amount, the curve has holes and gaps until this value exceeds of approximately 1500 *(Ymaximum-Yminimum) / (Xmaximim - Xminimum). At this higher value, the curve is usually not in graphic form at all. These expressions are based on the study of graphs of the polynomial given above, y = 1 / x and y = e ^ x for different values of configuration of land.

I realize with the option of touch screen on the first HP for the graphics window resizing, calculator, developers should be a little more sophisticated in how to get the calculator determine the graph. The current 'Adaptive' method is too risky for me to use unless I know a little on the chart. And the graphic progress is too slow. HP working on another option or is there maybe a setting on the computer I do not use its full potential?

I've only used the calculator for a few days, but others who have used the calculator for many more are also puzzled. Thanks for any info. You can send our way.

It is currently being considered. I can't say when / if there will be changes, however on the political basis of HP on 'future-looking '.

However, graphical representation is one of those things that is "deceptively simple" because it seems to be pretty easy but is actually infinitely difficult. It has in fact been mathematically proven that you * don't * create an algorithm to be quite accurate for the same simple algebra. All graphics engines turn example is a very simple method that collapses quickly for something else then the case of some, it's well, a series of different behaviors for different types of problems in an attempt to account for different types of situations.

The average general graphic has been done in the past was "moving pixel, evaluate and connect the dots." This works for simple things, but falls apart pretty quickly. Most of the calculators except the first on the market at the present time use some techniques of "smoothing" kind of hide the types of problems, this method can generate and generally work well for simple cases. While that hides things, the problem is he hiding things. :-) In more complicated cases, it actually makes things quite worse.

In this simple case, most of the systems actually get the "right" result because they always assume that a big jump in values one line drawn to connect them. Result directly in other cases where it draws a vertical line to an asymtote that shouldn't be there. That's why things like Tan (x) go very often vertical asymtotes where there shouldn't be any. To try to avoid this, you need the code to make a special analysis in the case of start trying to filter false positives. It seems that in this case, it is bad filter and eliminate the line here.

For another thing of pleasure, try the example simple "sin(e^x)" on all your systems. You will get some pretty crazy things and strange patterns here where there should not be any. The "speculative", the first will be closer, but only the grapher advanced with its graphics of interval it gets correct.

So in short, yes - you put this to our attention. In long, graphic representation is in fact much more complicated then one might expect. :-)

  • First Graphing Calculator Identification of old Version of main material has

    Hello

I tried to update the firmware to the latest version (2014-07-02 (6031)) on my graphing calculator of premium without success, the release_info.txt file which indicates (for 2014 03 31 (6030) firmware version):

There is limited between that backward compatibility and earlier releases.

First older hardware (revision A) supports this version, but the stream without thread-to-unit and data functionality is not supported on previous models. In the first screen HP help > revision of material appears with the software version information.

How will I know if my calculator hardware number is A revision material?

Is the version of CASE the number of material?

    Thank you very much

    H.

    Hello

All primes of HP are upgraded to the version 6030 (note that 6031 is for PC emulator only). It's just that the material has a problem with certain communications.

Firmware version prior to 6030 (5447 and older) do not show the hardware version in the display 'a way'.

When you upgrade to 6030 the hardware version will appear on the display 'a way'.

Alternatively, you can determine the version of the material from the model number (located on the back of the box she approached, the bar code):

    NW280AA is A revision material

G8X92AA is the review material C

In addition, the following process is recommended for the upgrade of the premium:

Install the connection from the CD Kit.

Once installed the connection, update the calculator.

    The following method is recommended:

    • Connect your HP Calculator first via the supplied USB cable (connected directly, do not use a USB hub)
    • Start the HP connectivity Kit
    • Click the tab of the calculator
    • Right click on the name of the first HP you want to update (it would be that you connected before starting this procedure)
    • Write down the version number, and then click the OK button
    • Click the Help Menu and select Check for update
    • Look for the pop-up box to update, check the version number that is newer than the one you want to update.
    • Then click on the download button
    • That's it, you will see the update being loaded and installed on your calculator screen. Don't click too quickly out of the HP Connectivity Kit, wait a minute or two after the completion.
    • In addition, there are a step in the connectivity Kit where it is advisable to back up the version that you had before the procedure, just in case. This way, you have a way to cover again.

    Kind regards.

  • HP 50 g - graph of the function of library

    Hello

I try to graph for example the distribution function UTPN (cumulative normal distribution) with two parameters set and the third as a variable. I tried in vain in the 2D/3D window (ALG mode):

    (a) entering the function UTPN (0,5,X). When I want to type () (shift + left) it emits a beep and no way.

    (b) entering the function utpn (0,5,X). It accepts input and tries to graphics, but only the axes appear. Looking at the TABLE, I see all the Y1 is "error".

    (c) entering the function using CAT and choosing the function UTPN in Equation Editor. He gives... too "little arguments."

    How can I accomplish this?

  • Pavilion g6 - 2379sr: graph Pavilion g6 problem

    Hello!

I have problems with my HP Pavilion g6 - 2379 sr video drivers.
    Windows 8.1 operating system (x 64)

    Graphics card: Intel HD 4000 + AMD 7670 M

When I first installed Windows 8.1, my Intel HD graphics drivers and AMD, the two came via WIndows update, everything worked, except fans made a lot of noise even when the PC is idle. I was suggested that I should install the official graphic drivers by manufacturer. So I downloaded the AMD drivers (which should include the drivers Intel aswell)
on the site of HP my laptop support specific. And now the fun part begins, applications that turned 55 frames per second before, now, is down to only 3 to 5 images per second, no matter what gpu are assigned.
I have no object in the BIOS settings related to switching of graphs, and no BIOS update is available for my laptop running WIndows 8.1 (there are updates to the BIOS for windows 8, but I'm not sure if I should use this driver for the update).

Device Manager indicates that two graphics cards work fine, but of course, they are not.

Any kind of help would be welcome!

    Solved my problem!

Apparently the drivers for HP support are not the best choice!
What to do if someone has the same problem:

    1. download the latest drivers Intel HD of the Intel Download Center (make sure that the drivers downloaded matches your Intel processor generation).
    2. download the latest AMD catalyst AMD Download Center.

3 disable internet access for the entire process stop windows update to automatically install the drivers. (do not enable internet access until all the drivers were re-installed manually).

4 uninstall the Intel HD drivers via the control panel - uninstall programs.

    5. restart the PC.
    6. express uninstall all the drivers AMD via Control Panel.

    7 restart the PC.

8 install the Intel HD drivers.

    9 restart the PC.

    10 install the AMD drivers

    11 restart the PC.

12 turn on the internet connection.

Now you should be fine, also fixed my problem whitch I previously had on fan makes a lot of noise all the time.

  • First HP axis line bug in Boolean expressions (Adv. Graphing App)

When the graphic representation of an inequality and excluding a part of it using Boolean expressions, there is a bug where the first will be graphic axis lines are part of the solution by using 'AND NOT '.

An example of this is that if you were to graph a circle of RADIUS < = 5 and remove a circle of RADIUS < = 4.

    Example:

    V1:=(X^2+Y^2<=5^2) AND NOT (X ^ 2 + Y ^ 2 < = 4 ^ 2)

    Axis lines X - there exist in the excluded (X ^ 2 + Y ^ 2 < = 4 ^ 2) and can be traced back as if it were part of the solution of V1.

Interestingly, if V2 is set to be equal to V1 (X - 0.5, Y - 0.5), axis lines are no longer aligned with the axis of the grid, but are rather shifted-0.5 on the X and Y as well as the rest of the V2.

In this case, the equation can be modified to work around the bug by removing the NOT and change the sign of the circle radius 4-more of:

    V1:=(X^2+Y^2<=5^2) AND (X ^ 2 + Y ^ 2 > 4 ^ 2)

Does anyone know if there is a reported bug?  Where I might be able to look to see a list of known issues?

Thanks for the detailed examples. It took me a while to see what you were talking about, but once I did I had the info the graphic calculator expert.

    Hello

I recently bought a Satellite A210-183 with an AMD processor Turion 64 X 2, 2 GB of memory, ATI X 1200 graphics card 1.3 build in webcam and possibly other features.

After 1 day use and that I had tried all the features and worked normally, when I tried to open my webcam, I got the message "FAILED to RENDER GRAPH"...

I restart the laptop and once worked normally and other time showed the same message. I decided to return the labtop back to the store to change because there's a term in this store that modify the machine within 7 days after purchase.

Certainly, the shop change the labtop with a new one. When I started again some of my programs installed on the labtop such as (msn & yahoo messenger, Nero, office, Sony ericsson Pc Suite and other programs of 1-2 and I had already tried to use the webcam and worked normally) after some restarts, I get the same message when I try to open the webcam... "" FAILED TO CHART RENDERING.

Everybody knows why I received this message and I can not open the webcam? I get on crazy and I do not think that the problem comes from the labtop. Perhaps something else like a program operating...

Please someone with something similar helps me.

    Thanks in advance

It seems that this problem could be linked to the issue of software.
Try to update the graphics driver and the driver for the webcam.

Notes; you need to remove the old drivers before you install the new version.
