• Intermittent problems with the laptop DV6 wireless

  I bought a HP DV6-6145TX about 2 weeks ago and in recent days the wireless connection no longer works.

  That is to say that even though I can ping it does connect to Web sites.  If I continue to clicking Refresh then it will load and then work ok for a few minutes, and then the same problem, website does not again for a minute or two.

  Is this a hardware problem? (I already loaded to the top of the latest Intel drivers wireless off the HP website and tried to disable the bluetooth module).

  It did not work.

  However, I found a tip on the web that makes. Essentially had to reset the network with the following settings:

  netsh winsock reset catalog

  netsh int ip reset reset.log

  Hopefully someone else gets help out of this because it has been massively annoying.

• Graphics problems with Latitude E550

  I have a problem with a laptop computer latitude and native resolutions.

  I currently have 2 Latitude E5550.

  It has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 (read in the bios) and the other has a native resolution of 1366 x 768.

  The same drivers (Intel HD graphics 5000 I believe. Video bios 1032v17). Same bios versions. As well on Windows 7 SP1 64 bit.

  My first idea as to why this is because I changed the hard drive in the laptop 2 (1366 x 768 a). It was a drive of 500 GB hard disc, but I replaced with an SSD and installed windows 7 cost. Not sure why this would cause the resolution to be less well?

  Any other information needed let me know.

  One was ordered with the standard display panel (1366 X 768) and the other has been ordered with an upgrade screen FHD - in other words, the material is different.  This has nothing to do with the drivers, WIndows, etc - a system simply has a screen resolution higher than the other.

  I bought an Inspiron 15, 7548 end of may 2015. I bought to use for work and college classes and bought Adobe PhotoShop Elements and CorelDraw x 7 software (after PhotoShop has not worked) for photo editing. The screen resolution is so high that I see even the buttons program, Windows Picture Viewer and many other programs. They appear in and 1 "x 2" square in the center of the screen). Can I decrease the resolution of the screen with less desirable results. The laptop also freezes at random and must be delivered to work again. There is also a major shift by typing in Word 2013, Facebook, Tumblr & Pinterest. I spent 8 hours trying to get some sort of resolution with all the problems only to be told by Dell support that he's spent 30 days return period and there is nothing they can do to help me. I'm just trying to get this fixed, replaced or repaired (at this point, I would like my money). I can't talk with anyone in the United States (not Dell policy) and do not know where to turn. I started to document (images and videos) many questions that keep appearing daily. Technical support tells me the question with the hi res screen is a known issue and they are sorry but there are no miracle or patches. I even took off from work and led to their location in Plano, TX to try to get ANY kind of help. No luck there. I work inside and many of our technicians look at there, both say there are problems with the laptop.

  Anyone know who I can talk to (a person in the United States would be although I was very missed by India support person I spoke with last) or where I can take the laptop to someone with Dell show what is happening with it? I am at a loss here. I am a mother single life work paycheck to paycheck and spent over $ 1500 on this laptop and the software I can't use. I own a very expensive paper weight now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

• APEX 5 - problem with computations in applications.

  I am facing some problems with calculations and expressions too.

  I have two EPS. Dev and Prod (4.2). I upgraded to 5.0 apex in the dev environment.

  After a few don't test with applications no DEV I have problem with computation - nothing is changed in both of the approx.

  For example: I use point computation to only display the sysdate value - 10 after a label. (some info default filtering).

  On prod ENV everything works OK - value appears when I reference by + ITEM.

  This same article on DEV invariably shows nothing. There is no error in the LOG.

  Is there a difference any to save the session state for items? Before that the regions are displayed?

  I have same problem when I want to use certain conditions to show some ITEMS/REGIONS/DA... where some ITEM_VALUE is used.

  I don't know if I understand your DA it checks the P1_TEST "is not zero", but this element of the page is set anywhere on your page, then this condition DA won't be ever true. For your calculation, the calculated value is correctly displayed next to your agenda of the P1_DATE_FROM page. I'll have a look at what is happening with 'SQL Expression. But please be aware that this is just a warning in the Page Designer, you will still be able to use "SQL Expression".

  Welcome to the HP support community! I see that you have some problems with your desire to 4. Try to install your driver high definition Audio Intelas it should be the graphics card that manages the basic functions. I'd also sure that your Catalyst Control Center is only the Setup for your high performance games and programs. This HP document will show you how do it.

  By system restore you did take back you to factory defects as in a collection or just go to a previous restore point? If you have a full recovery to factory settings then it seems like it might be a hardware problem with the keys / TouchPad if they start working again.

• sudden problem with HP Pavilion dv6-2157wm laptop

  Hello.  About 2 weeks ago, my laptop (a HP Pavilion dv6 model) worked very well.  It has been plugged in the power cord and adapter at the time.  One day, I went to check my emails and the laptop suddenly acted like it has been restarted, then it turns off completely.

  I waited a few minutes for re - turn on the laptop, but it does at all.  I unplugged the power cord and plugged in the power cord into the computer slot, but the led next to the power cord housing doesn't appear as it normally does when it is plugged.

  Also, when I pressed the power button to turn my phone back on, it lights.  Instead of this, a light in the front of the laptop (under the symbol of lightning bolt) flashes 3 times and then stopped flashing.  I took the battery and put it again after a few seconds, but it won't always turn.

  I noticed that the cord of the power box was nice and warm when the laptop shut down suddenly, as it was the laptop (despite the use of a laptop to refresh at the bottom of the laptop fan). The model number of the cord is WASGV0CL9YIVCU.

  What is happening with my laptop?  I use this unit to my secular Ministry work and need to work as soon as POSSIBLE!  I don't know if it's the power cord which broke or the battery needs to be replaced.  I bought the laptop in early 2010 and kept in good condition since then.  Help, please!

  I understand you're Pavilion dv6 laptop does not light.

  The symptoms you have described would indicate the AC adapter or power cord no longer works. The laptop flashing lightning bolt symbol is the BIOS say you there is not enough power to turn on the laptop. If the adapter is connected, then it would be safe to say that the adapter is not power to the laptop, which would mean that the battery cannot be recharged.

  I bought this brand new Acer Aspire 5251-1005 computer laptop a week ago from Best Buy and it comes pre-installed with Windows 7. Everything went beautifully except for an unknown problem. A guy organized, I have some of my important programs pinned on my taskbar (for example, MSN, office, Skype etc.). However, when I right click in a program (ie. MSN) and click on a task (IE. Mail box), this task is not activate Instead, my System32 folder opens... Very weird.

  I searched on several forums. I tried to do a system restore (quite a pain to reinstall everything) and did not work. Tried to activate my guest account to check if my account is corrupted. This was not the case.

  If anyone has a solution (hopefully one that doesn't require too many steps) Please help me!

  I had the same problem with ACER 5251-1513, and it turns out to be a third trial that Shredder calledEgis Tec included with MyWinlocker suite program.

  Unlike desktop computers, graphics upgradding on the laptop is not easy as walking in a park, difficult, expensive, or even impossible depending on how we look at it:

  (a) for the graphics card (including integrated card) which is welded to the montherboard/system board, we can just say: buy a new machine.

  (b) for the graphics card dedicated: basically we can but find map MXM is one thing, the upgrade of cooling system is another thing, and this may required more power to the power supply... Total cost could be equal to buy a new machine.

  After you have installed Windows 8 and install all the drivers that I got from the site Web: Lenovo's laptop can no longer play any games.   Well, I finally found the problem. I discovered that the graphics driver that I had on the Lenovo site have actually NOT installed us. When I ran the Catalyst Install Manager, the Manager showed global progress bar, but it did not install anything. That was pretty weird.

  When I ran the driver Catalyst install listed in the Chinese link that was given to me in this thread.
