• Satellite A500 questions (graphics Card freezes when games)

  Hi everyone hope you can help!

  I recently bought my Satellite laptop A500 and I have 2 numbers extremley bad!

  First apparently there is no my model number is PSAM3A-04100E, which turns out to be a Royal in the preverbial right pain when it comes to upgrading to windows 7!

  Second is my major problem,.
  I do a lot of games (sims 3, Callof Duty this kind of thing...) and every time I play I think that wow is the great great great fps and then FREEZE graphics! my summer completely computer hangs and stops without warning signs of lag slowing down or anything like that, and she is constantly!
  I was wondering if anyone else suffers from this problem or if I wait must search for a driver update I searched around but can't seem to find it anywhere.
  I really don't want to take it back to the shop because then I won't have a computer for weeks!

  Next week, I'll get my Satellite A500 and I'll test with Call of Duty 4 and let you know how it works.
  In any case before starting the game stop all unnecessary running process and define the plan of power at full power. Make sure also your laptop can catch its breath and cooling fans are not blocked somehow. Replace also side of your notebook computer on two CD boxes having a greater distance between the laptop and the desktop.

• My Qosmio F60 graphics card crashes often

  Hi guys.

  Hoping for some advice/corrections.

  I now have a F60 for about three weeks.
  The thing is great with the exception of a significant drawbacks.

  The screen will either sometimes go to pieces then turn black and then turns back on nothing similar happens with an error in the sense of "the nvidia graphics adapter call upwards and is now running."

  Or, the screen displays cr@p itself and stay cr@pped up there don't react don't not to screen shots and must be restarted.

  Or the screen itself, cr@ps crashes and then restarts and asks me if I want to search solution which I of course agree to do.

  It's a questionable graphics card? Is Toshiba needs to release new drivers for the graphics card? Or could it be something else?

  It is difficult to say what's going wrong here, but I think you should check if it s not a graphics driver issue
  In many cases the graphics card driver failure could cause similar problems.
  So it s recommended to reinstall this driver

  1. a second hard drive can I be mounted on the cell above?... it came with a 60 GB HARD drive

  It is not possible to upgrade or replace the graphics card. The graphics card is a small chip that attaches to the motherboard. It s not the same technology as on desktop computers.
  Upgrading the HARD drive is something different. It of possible to replace the HARD drive to another. But before you replace the HARD drive, you must check if the HARD disk is compatible and if the BIOS will recognize.
  Sometimes the BIOS cannot recognize the hardest.

• Satellite A500-1GL: 2 questions: the fan speed & graphic card driver failures

  I have 2 questions, hopefully someone can help me with that.

  * The first question - quick fan *.

  I'm on online gamer second life and world of the craft of war) recently my fan speed crank up to 90 percent for about 5/10 minutes before leaving quiet. Then speed up again after a period of time. I'm confused as to why he did this because when I check my cpu temp is only make 40%, and I use a cool buffer table.

  I'm looking for some advise here because all said Toshiba was making sure I had the latest bios update. But I would have thought it is not the processor overheating the fan must not be crank that quickly. My laptop is only 2 months old.

  Can anyone help, should I be worried?

  I really hope that someone can offer more help that Toshiba has done, as I am a bit unhappy to be problems on a 2 month old laptop.

  The cooling fan is controlled by the fan table in the BIOS. Fan table contains information about the temperature and the fan speed that means the depands on some level temperature fan speed.
  Over all the possible game features as the CPU, GPU, produce heat and the heat dissipation is high
  Cooling modules would begin to turn faster if the temperature level would be exceeded
  This is nothing exceptional everything at stake

  I read on a similar question, and apparently, the graphics card DRIVER crashed during games
  Maybe it's a compatibility problem between game and pilot
  In most cases the graphics card driver update should fix this and I read on some forums that it has helped in many cases

• Satellite L505-111 graphics card question.

  It is somewhat a noobish question but I'm kinda new to laptops. I bought this laptop Satellite L505-111, and in the specs it says I have ATI mobility Radeon 4650 in the form of graphics card. In any case, it was the main reason I bought the laptop. But when I look at windows (I have Windows 7 64 bit version) care. or through PC Wizard, it tells me I have ATI Mobility radeon 4600 series. Can you tell me if it is ok or why it shows me 4600 series and not of 4650.

  Don t you worry about this, everything is ok with your laptop.

  ATI Mobility 4600 series means that all the cards in this series, e. g. 4650 (which you have), 4670 or 4630, etc..

  On my desktop it s the same. Here, I have Radeon 4870, but the pilot shows only 4800 series. ;)

• Satellite 1410-question on graphics card

  I bought a satellite 1410 401 and I'm having a lot of problems with my graphics card, with images that I see black glitter spots through the moving image (no problems with stills however) (I downloaded the latest Nvidia drivers) which is quite annoying.
  I am also annoyed by the fact that this graphics card doesn't support Pixel shader and that he only has 16 MB of RAM (not shared) my (/are) is or questions: is there a way to get rid of these pesky black pixels and is it possible to replace or update my video card?

  I don t think that the black spots are a fault of a graphics card.
  You say you use the graphic driver nVidia. This is not correct. You must use the original graphic driver Toshiba or this unit. What you can find on the Toshiba site. Sometimes to watch certain files avi or mpeg your need a different codex. You can find lots of information on this topic.
  In addition, you can change primary parts (memory, hard disk) on you unit but it of impossible to replace the graphics card.

  Update graphics card chip is NOT possible for laptops.
  The GPU is especially part of the motherboard and not expandable.

• HPE h9 - 1110t Phoenix CTO: Questions about change of graphics card

  Hello, my computer is a HP Pavilion HPE h9 - 1110t Phoenix CTO desktop PC. I think it's time to replace the graphics card, it's come up with, the GeForce GT 545. Lately my performance in games such as Star Wars The Old Republic has considerably decreased in FPS and it stutters terribly while he was playing even on the smaller settings. The fan is really loud when the games. And in the past two months, I got two random reboots, which gave rise to a video as material error being the cause. The fan blades have a lot of dust between the two, but they are so small and placed together, I can't clean it good.
  
  I have an EVGA GeForce GT 640 to replace. But I have a few questions first. This card is compatible with my motherboard, right? Second, before installing it, should I uninstall the drivers I have right now for my 545? If so, I then stop and put the new? And after that I put in, the resolution will be all twisted up until I have install new drivers? And should I install the drivers from the NVIDIA site, right and forget the CD?
  
  Also, I have a 600w PSU, fake? That's what the specs say on HP for my computer, so it's going to be enough to have the right to TG 640?
  
  And then, about my diet, I want to get dust inside of it, but I won't come out or open or other. I saw on the site of HP I can take a vacuum and suck the dirt out of the outside vent. Can I do this without damaging it? I have a vacuum in my garage from Sears, I got that I use to clean my car, which would be allowed to use on the outside vent?

  GT545 (75W) and 640 (65W) are only 10W difference.

  Uninstall via the Device Manager.  I always liked create a new installation with the latest software and driver CD. If you wish, use the old CD. That will be established. It will update.  If you use a shop vacuum, keep the nozzle in contact with the metal frame. I like the nozzle between 2 fingers from the cradle.

• P50 graphics card & SSD Question

  I am pleased that the P50 was released in the United States. However, I have two questions.

  1. I thought that the graphics card would be configurable with options, but the only one available is NVIDIA Quadro M1000M 2 GB. Is the M2000M 4 GB option not available?

  2. my current setup for my hard drives are 500 GB HARD drive for the first hard drive. I would like to suffer the same set up as my current W530 and replace the drive HARD 1st with a SSD 128 GB as boot drive and a 512 GB SSD to store school and project work on. Is this doable by installing these two drives later? Are there any compatible currents available on Amazon?

• HP Pavilion p6623w video Graphics Card Question.

  With the HP Pavilion p6623w, it has an integrated ATI graphics built in. I recently bought a Zotac GeForce gtx 550 ti AMP! Video card and I wanted to install it in the HP System. Unfortunately since I installed it, I had many problems to make same ot games starts. Star Wars: The Old Republic opens the menu and when I click on 'play' it black screens and closed auto itself. The same question comes with League of legends and any demo that I download.

  I've updated the drivers as well as other updates that I did to my PC and still no luck, so I'm stuck. I guess it could be my integrated video card?

  I can't seem to find a way to disable and exactly how would I have done that?

  Here are the specifications of your HP p6623w desktop and here are the specs of the ZOTAC GeForce® GTX 550 AMP Ti ! Edition graphics card, you are having problems with. According to the specifications of your computer, your system came with a 250 watt power supply. According to the specifications of the Zotac GTX 550 Ti, it requires a minimum system + 400 watts of power. Unless you have installed a new more powerful PSU, this card will try to draw more power than the PSU will provide.

  With regard to the integrated... video card BIOS automatically disables it when it detects a card into the PCIe x 16 slot.

  I tried many of the sons of an answer to this question, who found nothing. I have an acer aspire ax1301-U1312 AMD Athlon II x 3 4 GB DDR2 Windows 7 Home Premium with nvidia 9200 integrated graphics card. • question the m9515y graphics card upgrade

  After a little more than 2 years, the graphics card in my m9515y failed and I am looking to improve it to something in the sense of a GeForce 465 and also upgrade the oem power supply 550 watt or better power supply Ultra.   My concern is the wire (black and white) which extends from the current GeForce 9400 pay-per-view mother connector JSPD1 and is included in this unit by the factory.  I can find no reference as to what this thread is for, and if it will be necessary for the new video card.

  The cable between the card and the motherboard is most likely an SPDIF connection, even if it is not labeled as such.

  Are you using or plan for the use of the SPDIF output on the back of your PC?

  You can get audio via the HDMI port on the 465 NVIDIA Digital.

  The Corsair CX 600 (600 watts) or the CX 500 (500 watt) power should work for your needs well.

  This GTX 550 TI is the same performance with the 465, consumes less energy and less expensive.  Some of the 550 GTX s have a differnet output ports configurations so you might need to look a little bit to determine which meets your needs. www.Newegg.com has what need you.
