greetings workshop deluxe installation

I recently got my laptop fixed & I tried to reinstall the deluxe Greetings Workshop, but I get a message that says:

"Greetings Workshop does not work because one of its components is missing.  Restart your computer and re-run the Setup program so that the missing piece can be localized.

I tried that & still nothing.  I have Vista on the laptop.  Some help would be appreciated to solve this.  Thank you.

Windows Vista Compatibility Center

First thing to do is to check its Vista compatibility at the link above, and if not to see what patches/solutions are available from its manufacturer...

http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-compatibility-mode/

If this is not Vista compatible, read the info on the link above.
It works for some programs, but not all.

This applies to software programs, NOT hardware drivers.

If it's Vista compatible > uninstall it > Re-download/save to your desktop > right click on setup.exe O run as admin.

If the above does not resolve the problem, try the Vista programs Forum:

    Hey monkeymanknitting

1st thing is to see if it is compatible with vista

  • MICROSOFT GREETINGS WORKSHOP PROBLEM

I installed Microsoft Greetings Workshop of and first CD of Windows 98 on my Toshiba Satellite 755 laptop running Windows 7 64-bit.  I am able to create maps and print using Greetings Workshop.  Unfortunately, I can't send e-mail Greetings Workshop cards.  I get error messages saying that it is too big.  How can I transfer the map from Greetings Workshop to my Image to compress for emailing software?  Is there another way I can email these cards directly from Greetings Workshop?

Depends on exactly what kind of file that the program creates as to if you can send this file as an attachment which can be read on another PC.

As it is, I suspect you would need to print the file then print scan using your scanner.

You are lucky, the program installed at all and can be used

  • Print Greetings Workshop

My Greetings Workshop works very well.  I now have a new printer, and when I was ready to print a map program got me a one-time test. When I printed the page outside my card, I made the mistake of telling the program what it printed perfectly and then I realized that it printed on the left side of the page instead of the right.  Now it won't let me come back to fix this error.  I tried making a new map, but have the same problem.  How can I fix it?

You must ask the developer to program that the problem has nothing to do with the operating system.

    Hello crlarson,

Please try the link here, I just tested, and it's a good link: (I think that there is a space in the word "windows" that should not be there)
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/make-older-programs-run-in-this-version-of-Windows

You can try the compatibility mode on the older programs.

If the program is not compatible, then you try to install and run the program in compatibility mode.

    Use the following steps:
    (1) right click on the program
    2) click Properties
    3) click on the Compatibility tab
    (4) select run this program in compatibility mode and select Windows XP or other system that the program has been run successfully operating.

Please let us know if that helps with your question.

  • hp2540 Windows XP SP3

Just installed printer - have WinXP SP3. Some programs to print fine, but older programs that were now no problem to my HP4200 error printing. A very old (Microsoft Greetings Workshop) gives "has encountered a problem and needs to close." Another says 'Host of the Pipeline filter Print' failed.

Both programs will print to AdobeAcrobat - and then to the printer - a workaround is therefore possible.

Pointers to a solution would be appreciated.

The only other driver I can think to use is the 990c or the Deskjet 9800 printer driver. You can go through the add a printer in printers and faxes to manually select the driver for the printer to use.

This guide should provide a good market well: to add a printer attached to your computer.

  • Problems of application on Weblogic 10 Server deployment

Hello! I'm pretty new on Weblogic 10 and would need some advice.

I use workshop for Weblogic 10 on Windows, and I developed an application made up of the following:

    -A stateful EJB
-A web Weblogic Service to receive applications
-A control to allow the web service call methods on the EJB.

The entire project (in an ear file) works perfectly on the local server Weblogic 10 using the 'performance on the server' or 'debug on server ".

However, when I export the ear file, I am unable to deploy it on a separate server Weblogic 10 (this one running on Solaris).

I get the following error: _ [SPI: 260142 deployment J2EE] descriptor to "META-INF/annotation - manifest.xml' in module 'service.war' is not recognized and cannot be parsed." _. My guess is that this is related to controls of hive annotations...

What gives? Shouldn't workshop create a stand-alone file usable by Weblogic 10?

Taking a glance at my EAR file, I notice that it contains no library of hive (among others). It contains all the necessary libraries utility? If so, how can I add them? I see all the pots in my EJB project and on the other side, but they do not follow in the jar/ear files.

I'm stuck! any advice or pointers would be appreciated! Thank you.

    N00b

Betino is correct, make sure that the domain that you deploy on is activated as a workshop (it installs just the libraries for the Apache Beehive controls and workshop in the field). You can also extend an existing with the workshop model domain. You can see that the libraries are deployed by looking in the console.

  • FSX Deluxe Edition installation problem

I'm trying to re - install FSX Deluxe Edition. I bought it at Best Buy at least a couple of years. After an episode of viruses, I have reinstalled my OS. I reinstalled FSX, who worked for a while, then stopped working. Whenever I try to repair or re - install it at this time, I get an error 1722, something on my Windows Installer. My OS is legal and authentic. My FSX is legal and paid, but crashes at the facility before I can even enter the product key. I already tried several fixes weird and complicated involving my permissions and file sharing. I can't change the permissions on my own PC. I am the only user of that PC and when it is connected to a local network, I wouldn't need or I don't understand all the complicated user permissions. I suspect that my PC is compromised in some way, despite the fact that I had virus protection up-to-date for four straight years. (Mcafee). I use WinXP, I believe that its service pack 3, or should be. Should I reinstall my OS again? What the hell is happening? I don't do any online game and only use this PC for the Simulator flight and casual internet surfing and research.
