  Four months after buying the PC (Satellite-Z930-103) I had a battery problem. Suddenly the orange led blinking and the laptop could not be launched.   Orange (power) led starts flashing as soon as the computer is powered down (or "standby mode") with the charger connected.

  Then the next day I open the laptop again and re-connect the battery. It works fine until I still forget to unpug the charger, turn off or restart the laptop.

  I'm guessing it's a problem of software and a few simple arrangements or a re-installation of something, it can be solved.

  Because I travel a lot, I love the little thing but I got frustrated at the moment.

  It would be great if I'm right, and someone already had this thing resolved!

  Satellite Z930 is very nice machine designed for mobile use and I am really sorry to hear that you have such problems. I imagine that you can't find some identical threads on this forum so I hope this isn't a "general problem" with this machine.

  I am not a technician but I can't imagine this problem described has something to do with the settings of the software. In the BIOS, you cannot change a large part and in windows, there is a standard Windows power settings and several Toshiba avancΘs.
  Electronic power placed in the motherboard has a few 'standard' functions and switch automatically between battery and power running.

  I can't say for sure, but I guess there must be some problem with electronic power supply. It is not easy to say what the problem is here, and I really wonder that Toshiba service provider was not able to identify the reason why all this is happening.

  Let's see what the other members of the forum think problem described.

• Seeing orange mute

  I have a HP Pavilion DV6 1030US laptop with Vista/64 bit.  Each time the orange mute light itself.   OK everyone I read some more and I think I've discovered how to solve the problem with the no sound:

  1 go to Control Panel

  2. go to the Device Manager

  3. go to sound, video and game controllers

  4 double-click the IDT High Definition Audio CODEC

  5 go to the driver on top of the screen of the IDT

  6. click on revert to the previous version... Yes it removes the most recent update, but it worked for me

  7 after that is done go back return to the IDT and return to driver and click the button to update the driver... ... not to interrupt this leash to search and update

  Mute my button is Orange & I can't return to the green or blue when I touch I get no sound at all on the right bottom corner where it shows the volume when I touch the mute botton it shows silent then on but orange button mute do not change in blue or green in color and volume does not work I hope there is an easy fix or do I have to replace the sensor, thanks

  Try the following.

  Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

  One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

  When you're done, shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

  Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f9 to load the default values (sometimes it is f5, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

  Allow Windows to fully - charge it will automatically load an audio driver, but let just this complete.  Then open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select playback devices.  'Speakers and headphones' left click once to highlight, and then click set as default (if it is grayed out, it will be already set as default device).

  Restart the laptop again.

  It sounds like a motherboard problem

  Try to remove the AC adapter and the battery and wait an hour. Connect the AC adapter and the battery. Now try again.

  Does this happen if with battery or AC adapter?

• Satellite A500 fresh orange led flashes in pink

  Initially using the laptop on the sector every now and then driving charge orange pink flash (power switch in 1-second intervals) and the white POWER LED also goes off at the same time.

  Make sure that DND is not enabled. Settings > do not disturb > disable.

  Also, make sure the switch on the side of the phone. If you see orange, set the switch in contrast to reactivate the system sounds.

  My iPhone 5 (most recent iOS) is not connected to any external device via bluetooth, etc., no headphones plugged.

  Look at the switch at the top left of the phone. Make sure you stop sounds. If you see orange in this turnout, reverse the reverse effect.

  You have the key "secret" engaged? It is the little slider on the volume buttons on the side. If you see orange, it is engaged. Drag the opposite effect. Have you disturb not active? Settings > do not disturb.

• Satellite A60 - laptop battery not charge/work

  My stop laptop when you use the battery power. It will not re-start until I plugged in to the power supply. Every time I disconnected power laptop would shutdown. laptop does not work on batteries, no lights are working.
  When it is plugged seeing orange lights. Battery remains 90% fresh even after hours on departure av! I suggest that I can't use the battery power and the battery won't charge.

  Pre-installed software doesn t have a any influence on this. Toshiba power saver is preinstalled to consumption, Manager, with other words to help reduce battery power consumption and longer battery.
