• Hard Reset damaged Treo 680?

  Some time ago I've nailed my Treo 680 mounted belt on a sharp angle, causing the key 5-way such as the 'up' command is no longer available. I have now changed to a replacement of 680 and want to erase everything from the original before disposing of it, but of course, ordering "mounted", what confirms the deletion of all data during the procedure to hard reset!

  Does anyone know of another way to do a hard reset which does not have this command? Any other suggestions to clean all personal data?

  Hello and welcome to the forums of Palm.

  You can download the HARDRESET program from www.palmpowerups.com. This program will be hard reset of your device as soon as you click on it - it will give you 10 seconds to press a button to cancel the hard reset. After 10 seconds, you must perform a soft reset of your device (remove the battery and then put it again) to complete the hard reset.

• Trying to Hard reset Palm Treo 500v

  If you follow the instructions online - press and hold the power button, remove the battery and replace it, I can't do the screen to resurrect to continue the procedure.

  When I remove the battery, it is as if the mobile turn OFF.

  Any suggestions how to solve this problem or is it useless?

  To reset the trip you must move the left then right reset button again. Press the power button on the right side at least 3 seconds.

  There is no way to do it. You have 2 hardware problems. Time to replace the phone.

  You have no damage to the iPod. If you disconnect the iPod is communicating with the computer, then you can alter the iPod and a restoration will probably be necessary,

I found an online solution to go beyond the popup box, I don't remember what it was, but now my laptop is stuck in a State of constant restarting. It goes like this:

  Welcome to the HP support community! I understand that your PC Pavilion x 2 is stuck in an endless loop, after trying to reset it.

  You can start by trying a full reset on the system and testing of hardware failures.

  If the system is still stuck in the loop, you may be able to follow the steps to perform a recovery when 10 Windows does not successfully start.

  If you do not have a separate for Windows 10 drive, you can create a Microsoft recovery media and attempt to restore the system or start from that instead of the hard drive.

  I'm the one who help friends and family on this from the unit for the first time that I came across a compact Z5 which has an error which may or may not associate with defective finger print registry.

  If I understand you correctly, you are unable to perform a reset of the phone factory because you can't after locking the screen, is that correct?

  You should try to perform a repair of software using PC Companion (for a guide step by step, click on the blue text), cela re - install the software of the phone and will remove all data. It is important that the phone is off and you don't connect it to your PC until later in the the repair guide when you are prompted to do so.
