Having intermittent BSOD crash

Having intermittent BSOD crash.

Hello community, I had intermittent crash or BSOD problems for about six months now.

I know: cannot reproduce the crash at will. Seems to be intermittent without real reason. System can work several hours or even days without any problem. Then I can have several accidents within minutes of each other. I installed Windows office in 2013, the situation went from bad to worse, extremely. Of course, I ran system restore to get rid of this problem.

Efforts in case of problem: I ran mem 86 tests overnight, (note I have 64-bit system then of course to test everything I was with 64-bit programs). I tried stress tests CPU, with testers of Intel. I removed my FI creative sound card and went with the on-board audio device. I started from scratch with a new install of Win 7 Ultimate OS, not only an upgrade. I have a great cooling and have checked system time, fans, power output etc. Does not overheat as I can see. Device Manager is clean and not yellow bangs or ratings. None of the above test produced errors.

Please let me know what other information you need to help me solve this problem.
Thank you.

Are you sure you have the correct and up-to-date chipset drivers? Do you run VM and if if you have noticed a relationship between them and the system crashes? I can't think of it as anything other than a driver problem. The only reason why VM I'm raising is that some parameters may cause blockages of the seemingly random system especially when it comes to virtualization settings from intel or activate USB 3.0 in a virtual environment.

There is certainly no problem of software here, I'll tell you that much. This very much looks like failing RAM currently, or the motherboard as you said.

How do you use your RAM via the BIOS? I * do * it passes Memtest, but it can still be misconfigured. I reset the CMOS for testing purposes and leave everything to default settings, not to touch even the DRAM timings. Leave for what she restores.

    Kind regards

    Hi all

I HPE h8-1120une desktop PC and crashes every time that a day or two.  Mini dump is created and executed an analysis against them and see that there is a product of access on tixhci driver violation.

I checked the drivers HP for the PC and there is only the driver Texas Instruments original USB available for download - is there a version update available?

Is there a workaround or problems known about this pilot and HPE PC?

  • Constant BSOD/crash on Windows 8

Hi I just did a clean install of windows 8 pro last week. Since then, I have had several accidents. It is random when it happens, sometimes it will happen as soon as I start, sometimes a few hours later. I tried to find me a solution, but were unsuccessful. So now, I hope that someone here may be able to help me. I am blue screen reader, and every time it crashes it is because of ntoskrnl.exe any help would be greatly appreciated. I am also attaching a SkyDrive link with all the files of dump C:\Windows\Minidump.

It's all related material.  There is a small chance that your Kaspersky remains may be the cause so I remove it and using Mse instead

Kaspersky is a common cause of BSOD.

I remove and replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials at LEAST FOR TESTER.

    http://support.Kaspersky.com/downloads/utils/kavremover10.zip
    http://www.Microsoft.com/security_essentials/

    Stop 0 x 124 is a hardware error
If you are overclocking try to reset your settings to standard processor and see if that helps.
If you keep getting the BSOD here are things more than you may want.

This is usually hardware related, defective heat, memory or processor even if it is "possible" he is associated (rare) driver.

Stop 0 x 124 - what it means and what to try

    Synopsis:
A "stop 0 x 124" is fundamentally different from many other types of bluescreens because it arises from a complaint of material.
Stop 0 x 124 minidumps contain very little concrete information, and it is therefore necessary to address the problem as a case of material in an unknown state of distress.

    Generic troubleshooting ' Stop 0 x 124 ":

    1) to ensure that none of the hardware components are overclocked. Material which is pushed beyond its design specifications - by overclocking - may malfunction in unpredictable ways.
    (2) ensure that the machine is sufficiently cooled.
If there is doubt, open the side of the case (be aware of all the relevant conditions guaranteed!) PC and direct an electric fan squarely to the motherboard. Who will rule on most cooling problems (lack of).
    3) update all drivers related to materials: video, sound, RAID (if applicable), NIC... anything that interacts with a piece of hardware.
It is best to run the latest drivers anyway.
    (4) update the BIOS of your motherboard according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Their website should provide detailed instructions on the brand and model-specific procedure.
    (5) rarely, bugs in the operating system may cause "false positives" 0 x 124 events where the hardware wasn't complaining, but Windows thought otherwise (because of the bug).
At the time of writing, Windows 7 does not have to suffer from a defect, but it is nevertheless important to keep Windows up-to-date.
    6) trying (stress) test these hardware components that can be put to the test artificially.
The most obvious examples are the RAM and HDD (s).
For the RAM, use the 3 rd-party memtest86 utility to run several hours a test value. (6-8 passes to stress the ram)
For hard drives, verify if CHKDSK /R finds any problems on (s), including "bad sectors".
Unreliable RAM, in particular, is mortal, as well as software, and anything other than a 100% clear memory test result is cause for concern. Unfortunately, even a 100% clear result the diagnostic utilities does not guarantee that the RAM is free of any defect - only that none have been encountered during the test passes.

    7) as the last of the non-invasive troubleshooting steps, perform a "Vanilla" Windows reinstallation: just the OS itself without additional applications, games, utilities, updates, new drivers - or ANYTHING that does not come from the Windows 7 disc.
Who stops working mitigate the problem of the 0 x 124, jump to the next step.
If you run the "Vanilla" installation long enough to convince yourself that not a single 0 x 124 accident occurred, start installing applications and updates slowly, always stopping between successive additions long enough to get an idea of the question if the machine is still free of 0 x 124 breaks down.
Smash back, obviously the latest addition of software may be somehow connected to the root cause.
If the stop error 0 x 124 persist despite the above steps, and the equipment is under warranty, consider to go back and ask for a replacement that does not suffer periodic MCE events.
Be aware that want to perform the subsequent hardware troubleshooting steps can, in some cases, void your warranty:
    (8) clean and carefully remove the dust inside the machine.
Reinstall all memory modules and connectors.
Use a can of compressed air to clean the RAM DIMM supports as much as possible.
    (9) If all else fails, start removing items of hardware one by one in the hope that the culprit is something non-essential that can be eliminated.
Obviously, this type of testing is much easier if you have access to equivalent components in order to perform swaps.

If you are in the situation to have completed all the steps above without a resolution of the symptom, unfortunately the most likely reason is that the error message is literally correct - something is fundamentally wrong with the hardware of the machine.

  • BSOD crash to the device USB unplug - Satellite A100

    Hello world

On my new Toshiba Satellite A100 laptop right out of the box (pre-installed Windows XP MCE), I installed a USB device (a Line 6 POD XT live guitar amp modeling unit). I used the latest drivers available. The instrument is duly recognized and properly installed. I can use it properly.

Only when I unplug it, or simply turn off... bang! blue screen crash. There is no icon 'Remove hardware safely' available, since it is not a unit of storage memory. Also, it used to work just fine (plug/unplug) on my previous laptop satellite I just replaced.
    Something with media center edition?

Thanks in advance for your messages.
    Please help me!

    Hello

Don t think that it s something wrong with MCE, but you know; nothing is impossible.
The blue screen of death appears mainly due to hardware failure or serious software compatibility issues.

Try to update the BIOS. Maybe that changes anything.
Alternatively, you can try to disable the function of the USB ports to save energy. You can do this in the properties of the USB port

Additional I would recommend contacting the manufacturing of USB device support.
Maybe these disorders are known for guys

  • IdeaPad 500 - BSOD crash

I recently bought a Lenove Ideapad 500 with i5 and AMD Radeon graphics however when used it crashes and I get a failure Kernal to check the safety and the laptop stops and does not restart. After leaving there a few hours if restarts until it does some time later...

Mod edit: System model added to the front of the subject line to improve visibility / clarity.

Hi, I tried return from pilots who do not solve anything, he became almost unusable crashing after seconds with various errors that appear. Even after the laptop asked me to do a repair of Windows. I tried and it crashed again. Finally, I called the catalog that I bought through returned, they sent a replacement and it seems to be ok, I wonder if something was wrong with the other from the beginning. The news is faster and there are more steps to be implemented, although it is the same as that!

  • Anyone having problems with crashes after setting the units (lb/po2) on an indicator on the dipstick?

I use an indicator of money gauge to show pressure. With no set of units, everything seems to work properly. When I set units 'psi' and immediately try to save LabView hangs and crashes immediately after each next attempt to open the file project or VI. I'm using LabView 2012 (12.0f3) 64-bit on Windows 8. It is the first crash, I had. Unfortunately, it seems that the file is corrupted and I lost a few hours of work. Now I'm afraid to continue using this VI of fear he crash of something else and corrupt the file and I'll lose my progress. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I presented the crash to the settlement report, but who knows how long it takes to move to study the problem.

    Hi Arcus,

If you search the forum you will find a large number of "moaning" on the buggy and incomplete unit support in LabVIEW. My favorite is the square function (available from LV2009?) which will follow "4 m" when you want as the square of "2 m". Of course: meter ^ 2 is always meter. And we're just talking a very basic unit...

You will also find on the controls of the money bug reports.

Combine all these threads in your own conclusions!

I don't use controls of the money, and usually I stay away by using units of our days...

BTW: I would also stay away from units such as "psi". Just my continental Europe perspective

(Once I got to work with a machine (treatment of semiconductors) produced in the United States. She had 4 gauges next to each other using 3 different units: lb/po2, inHg, Torr. There must be a reason to do it, but have you ever needed to compare these pressures? Easy to remember these conversions...)

  • Uşaklar and again Atikmpag.sys bsod crash after and after and after

It all started in a Sun and a nice day I turned my G62-b13ST and after some time it crashed and I googled and I saw that the driver Sweeper and downloading might be a solution I thought. After I've deleted and updated the driver, he arrived after and after and this situation atikmpag.sys and finally ended up here im desperate and hopeless.

I tried the solutions in the internet and ask you what to do?

    Hi DEVO61,

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I read your thread on your laptop HP G62-b13ST and constant crashing. Try perform a reset. When you perform a hard reset note remove all USB devices and remove cards memory card reader location. Disconnect all non-essential devices. If that doesn't help try to turn on the computer, on which you begin to press F11 repeatedly until the menu opens. You can do a System Restore.

Here is a link to a Update for the BIOS. If this does not help, try tapping F10 key go to the diagnosis and then run the hard drive & memory test when a test fails, you will need to replace the part. Please also check if the device is more heating.

Please let me know how it goes.

    Thank you.

  • Intermittent BSOD with 0X000000D1

Your support "COMPUTING" is wrong on several levels.  First of all, you have a driver of November 2014 and there are at least 3 more recent.  Secondly even though he was the most recent driver that does not mean it is not corrupt.

Still related to the video driver

    Hello

Thank you for visiting Microsoft Community and we provide a detailed description of the issue.

According to the description, I understand that you have the problem with BSOD on the system.

Certainly, I understand your concern and will try my best to help you.

There are a number of reasons for this problem, but this scenario indicates to some conflict hardware driver.

First of all, I would say to disconnect external devices attached to the computer with the exception of essential devices such as the keyboard and mouse. Restart the computer now and see if it boots. In this way, we can identify if any external device is causing this problem.

In addition, you can try to perform the Startup Repair and check if it helps.

Startup Repair is a Windows Recovery tool that can fix certain system problems that might be preventing Windows to start. Startup Repair scans your computer for the problem and then tries to fix it so that the computer can start correctly.

Please refer to the article below and follow the steps and check if that helps.

This indicates that there is an inconsistency in the index of State APC.

This checking bug without a compatible kernel VRF image can be rather difficult to debug, because there is not much to debug.

I saw this Jungo driver cause a lot of problems in the past, because it is very old. If accidents occur after updating the driver wifi, I will say that it is the culprit and I would like to uninstall the software and remove the device (if any) for troubleshooting purposes.

    Kind regards
