Headset stopped.

Hello

All of a sudden, the headset worked no more. I tried several other headphones that work on other equipment. It is a software issue or is it technical? Thank you, Hubert.

About 5 days ago my Logitech USB headset microphone has stopped working.  The helmet always plays the sound, but the microphone is not input all the sounds.

    Things I've done:

-Uninstalled / reinstalled the Driver Headset, USB Drivers, & sound card driver.

-helmet I tried on another pc (it worked)

-tried headphones different USB on my machine (a no exit worked / entry)

-tried headphones with input jack then the sound card. (has no output worked / entry)

He said that "the Audio recording device is disconnected.

However his trendy ofc, but anyway his doesn't...

    Can someone help me please?

  • Satellite Pro R850 - 18K - use of the combined headphone/microphone jack

This laptop has a combined microphone/headphone plug, but I couldn't find on the helmets of the market with 4 Cinch works correctly. I have some headphones mobile with 4-pole, but if I plug it into the laptop socket, both internal microphone. and the headset. stop working.
    According to manual it work!

On my previous Toshiba I used 2 catches headset (red/green sheets), but if I connect it to the Pro 850, micro internal. will not work.

Can someone recommend, what type of headphones, I need to take care to be compatible with the model R850?
    -USB connection should be good?
-the so-called plug 4 pole should work, if not cell phone accessory?

If someone has already solved this problem, please advice me. Thank you.

    George

    Hello

Yes, according to the user manual, you must use a 4-pin headset to get the headset working.
If you use any other prang 4 pin two mic (internal and external) would be disabled.

    > On my previous Toshiba I used 2 catches headset (red/green sheets), but if I connect it to the Pro 850, micro internal. will not work.

I guess this pin 2 pin will not work in this case because the laptop supports only one taken headset.
So, what do you think about using a 4 - Pin to 2 x 3-Pin 3.5 mm Headset Splitter Adapter like this:

  • Logitech Headset H330 with Mic stopped working after upgrade to SP3 of XP Professional

While in SP2, all worked, but once the system to update to SP3, the game has stopped working.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I had the same problem after buying the Logitech H330 Mic headset and use Windows XP with SP3.

    -Solution (at least for me):

    * Go to C:\WINDOWS\inf

To find the WDMA_USB file. BAK

    * Rename this file WDMA_USB.inf

    * Use the Windows Update Wizard (from Device Manager', select the 'Logitech USB Headset"(with yellow exclamation mark), right click and select 'Update driver...) »)

    * Specify C:\WINDOWS\inf as a location to search for the driver

    * If you are lucky (I was / am!), Windows XP with SP3 will install the "Logitech USB Headset" as USB-audiodevice and you can select (and - finally - use) as audiodevice!

  • Why my windows media player stops the audio output from my headset in the middle of a song?

I listen to music through a Bluetooth wireless headset. However, in the middle of songs the audio stops. Windows media player is still playing and audio output continues for 10 to 30 seconds later.

also, it stops at the end of the songs and takes a few seconds with the new song to restart again.

    Hello

    Method 1.
Try using a different bluetooth or use bluetooth even on another computer and check.

    Method 2.
Play the sog directly on your computer and check the output.

    Method 3.
If the same bluetooth works fine on another computer try to update the drivers bluetooth on your computer and check.

    I hope this helps.

  • Headset Bluetooth connected to the PC, but has stopped working.

I recently bought a Bluetooth hands-free headset, with the intention to use it for my PC and Playstation 3. It took me a while to find a way to connect it correctly, but I managed to put in place and both the speaker and the microphone worked perfectly. However, when I moved my Bluetooth adapter to another USB port and reconnected my headphones, the speaker has stopped working. It was not broken, because he was still working on my PS3, but it did not play all the sounds from my computer. I would go to control panel > sound and I would be with the right button of the headset and click 'test', it would have displayed on my screen as if he were playing, but no sound came through the speaker. The microphone was still working, and I don't really use the speaker, so I didn't really like. However, I recently connected an controller to my PC as a game controller, and I installed the wrong drivers while my card is always connected. I uninstalled the drivers and later installed good, Bluetooth had stopped working on my PC, so I rebooted, plugged the adapter in, active Bluetooth etc, and I was able to reconnect my helmet. However, now the microphone has stopped working as well. I tried to use "Microsoft Fix It", and when I would try to help out the speaker or microphone, he told me to turn on my camera, then it is already enabled, and I wouldn't be able to do anything.

  • USB headset will often stop after a youtube vid.

I have a logitec USB headset, which seems to work fine, but it stops at certain places. Finish or do pause for a youtube vid is the only one that I encounter the most. Generally its between one and the next sound execution. Never during.

A few times he could stop sound playback of my internet browser while always playing the sounds of windows OS, although it is more often a complete silence. Including any other program I could have started before noticing the problem occurred.
    I checked the following:
    -Listening properly configured
    -USB driver: update
    -Pilot helmet: is not necessary
-Energy setting for USB ports disabled
What follows I have use to solve my problem:
-Soft reboot by reconsignation and if it fails
-Remove and reconnect the USB headset
For me, my solutions above sound like an inadequate software framework that sometimes can be reset by reconsignation and must sometimes be reset by say / reconnect the headset.
Any help on this? Another thread, I found and read on this was not very helpful.

    Uh, no.

What on Earth has this to do with improvements?

To the OP: you give a lot of great information except the essential!

    Re-post what gives:

    * make, phone number name and model of your PC/computer.

    * is this a recent or ongoing problem?

    * have you recently updated from XP or Vista before this arising?

    See you soon,.

  • The USB headset volume buttons stopped working

Let's see if a second go make me somewhere...

I have the Travelite ASUS HS-1000w headset. It is compatible with all versions of Windows. I got this headset special for about two weeks before the volume buttons stopped to change the volume.

It is plug-and-play 'driver for free', so there is no update driver for him - I checked. It is always set as the default audio device to use when it is plugged. I don't have any Intelli-products (IntelliType, IntelliPoint; someone has suggested that there could be a conflict).

It worked with no problems whatsoever until one day, I restarted my laptop and ONLY stopped volume keys their functions for an unknown reason. It is not the USB port; change ports makes no difference. It is not the helmet; the buttons work when tested with other computers, PC and Mac. Nothing has been installed during the session before rebooting, not even the updates of Windows.

Still the volume buttons still don't move the volume slider. I have tried everything I can think of, including uninstalling the driver/restart/connect the headphones back in and let him make his case. My last stations are making a Win7 repair install and if this does not work, reinstall Win7 entirely. But, as we can guess, I don't want to have to basically EVERYTHING (200 + concerts) reinstall on my computer just to get one thing working again which, at this rate and based on past with her, events cannot be guaranteed to stay work again for much longer after that.

What REALLY bothers me is that seems to be the only person on the planet who is having that kind of question.

How can I get these buttons work again if it's something on my computer that affects their? If anyone has any clue that could help me somehow, I'll give you $ 1 billion.

(Well, not really, but darnit, I'm DESPERATE!)

  • Lighting control and microphone headset disconnects on iPhone 7 more

    Here's my question:

I use headphones a lot. While driving, my desk at work etc.

I have an iPhone 7plus and have lightning of headset connected, is I let them cool for a long period of time, I can hear this sound as a click. Once this click occurs, mic/line controls stop working, but I can still hear notifications and music.

I can restore the connection just unplug the headphones and plug their folder in. My fear is that this is some kind of energy saving function, but I'm not sure.

Does anyone else have this problem?

    I'm having the same problem.

After sitting idle for a few minutes there is a pop sound and then controls no longer work until the headphones are disconnected and re connected.

This problem also affects the mic which means that if you get a phone call and try to answer through the helmet, the person at the other end will be unable to hear you.

I'm afraid unplug and re - connect the headphones will cause unnecessary wear on the port of lightning and the helmet.

Hope that soon, there is a fix for this problem.

  • Headset BT in Airplay-list with Siri, but not the music

    Hello

I use the iPhone6 with the last OS (iOS 9.3.4) and a BT headset that I usually use for calls.

I want to use this helmet also to listen to the music, so I intend to select the headset from the device list AirPlay during execution of Spotify or any other music player. But the device is not on this list can't.

When I start a call or Siri, the device appears and when selected.

List of airPlay when I start Siri or a call or a voice message:

    * iPhone

    * iPhone speaker

    * Savi 7xx (this is my Bluetooth headset)

Mailing list when using for example Spotify:

    * iPhone

When you start voice mail while the music plays player I can even hear the music, so, technically, everything seems to be in order.

Is it possible to force the Savi 7xx on always and not only for the Siri AirPlay devices list, call and so on?

    Kind regards

    Lutz

    Hi Lutz

The manufacturer's instructions for listening to streaming music / media via headphones Savi 7xx (IE for 700 series models) are:

    • Check that your phone is paired to the base of Savi.
    • Start playing media by application on your phone.
    • If you are wearing the headset, press the mobile button base to read audio data on the helmet.
    • If the media does not start to play, "Savi 7xx" is selected in the list of Bluetooth devices.
    • To stop media playback, press again the button of the mobile base.

  • iPhone Bluetooth Headset open iBooks?

So I use my Plantronics Voyager Bluetooth headset for listening to audio books of every night.  My books are in the iBooks app is where I play.

I'm now noticed something really annoying that I can't fix.

Now, whenever I connect my Bluetooth headset, it opens the iBooks and starts to read an audio book.  It does this without any prompting from me.  The iBooks app is not really open in this case, it shows just at the bottom of the screen as a bar in the narrow application screen.  It shows also in the Control Center screen.

There are no settings for my bluetooth headset.  I looked at the settings for the iBooks, and there is nothing about it.  I went through all other screens of settings that I can find and I can't find anything on how to stop this.

It may not seem like much, but it's really annoying, and when I'm driving and I turn on my headset to answer a call, iBooks automatically begins to play on top of the current phone call.

I searched and could not find anyone else with this problem, so I don't know if this is specific to my bluetooth earpiece/headset or what, but there must be a way to stop this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

In fact, I have this problem too, and everything has happened today on my iPhone. However, I do not have a Bluetooth headset; just Sony headphones with a 3.5 mm jack. Whenever I plug my headphones in, the suggested application that could be opened appears iBooks and not music. At first I though it will be fixed by just open music, playing a song and then to pause the selected song. Later, I'll disconnect the Atria, then quickly reconnect. Then, the app suggested turns to music (as I wanted). But the proposed application back to iBooks when headphones are not connected for a long time.
