  When I bought this computer (sep-09) everything worked fine. Then in March (I hade it idle for some time), my built in mic has stopped working.

  I have the Travelite ASUS HS-1000w headset. It is compatible with all versions of Windows. I got this headset special for about two weeks before the volume buttons stopped to change the volume.

• My mic has stopped working Windows 7

  I have a Sony VAIO VPCCB37FD laptop and have had it for over a year. My microphone worked until about 23:00 last night. After trying to roll back the driver my laptop would not connect me to my account after you start the system and I had to restore to June 5 and which repaired issues microphone for about 10 minutes then mid-sentence he dropped again.   In this issue, the Microphone seems to have some hardware issues. All services needed a microphone are not able to read any input through it. Even after a system restore, the microphone behaves the same. So, at this point, instead of doing another restore on the computer, I suggest you contact your manufacturer support to diagnose hardware problems. It would be more useful.

• Headset Bluetooth connected to the PC, but has stopped working.

  I recently bought a Bluetooth hands-free headset, with the intention to use it for my PC and Playstation 3. • Pavilion dv8000: win7 usb ports dv8000 for has stopped working

  all 4 of the usb ports on my dv8000 has stopped working. Ive tried to update the drivers, no luck. He originally had XP as an operating system, but it has been upgraded to windows 7, I don't know if usb disks are corrupt or what. When I plug anything into the usb ports, it does nothing. Ive been trying to get this fixed for so long and his frustration, someone knows how to fix this?

  I have conducted research on software and compatible driverscommits and have found that your laptop has no compatible drivers for Windows 7.

  Alternatively, you can try to update the drivers of USB port in Device Manager by following this document on How to install a driver in Device Manager. If it does not install the necessary drivers for the USB communication, you may need to downgrade to Windows Vista (32 bit).

  For no reason that I know, installing bluetooth on my small S10e has stopped working.

  I tried several other obvious things but without success. I also enabled "Bluetooth coopération" in the wireless LAN settings.

  All I can do now is get to the Bluetooth device under the keyboard cover and take a look at that? Anyone who has any suggestions until I get out the screwdriver? (The unit is out of warranty).

  

  I received my replacement bluetooth module and installing it, bluetooth is working again.

  I keep getting "BTW stack server" stopped responding when stopped down, but this does not seem to cause any problems.

  Too bad that original bluetooth module did not survive barely a month after the end of warranty date...

  If somebody spilled a little liquid to hardware malfunction and I guess that the keyboard is default now. Try to contact the Service partner and pick up some information how the new costs of keyboard. You can also a Google a little bit around and find that keyboard correspond to your model of laptop.

  Just got a Logitech USB Headset H530 - Logitech docs don't say "no driver required" but my computer says differently. Running Vista Home Premium SP 2 64-bit. Plug them in French - is going through the routine "find the pilot, can find no driver." I plug it into another system of 64-bit Vista Home Premium SP 2 and they work!

  What is the brnad and model of the PC, you cannot install the USB headphnes on?

  What is the brand and model of the PC headset works on?

  I suggest to remove all devices external and other devices in your computer, then restart and try installing the headset.

  You could go in Device Manager, click the view tab at the top and select hidden devices.

  You can remove all instances of the headphones and other devices which are not connected, and then restart the computer.

  As stated in your second post, what chipset driver version you did install (version number in particular, not "the last" please)?

• USB headset will often stop after a youtube vid.

  I have a logitec USB headset, which seems to work fine, but it stops at certain places. Finish or do pause for a youtube vid is the only one that I encounter the most. Generally its between one and the next sound execution. Never during.

On my new 64 bit Windows 7 pc, I have to open the Sound / select USB Logitech headset and set them as default. On the removal of the helmet, then I have to reverse the sequence.
