Hello & wireless

I have a photosmart d110a printer. I tried to activate Hello on the printer, now it is not visible on my network from any of my computers. See the wireless router and it gets an ip address. I tried to reset to the factory settings without success. How can I solve the problem?

I found the problem, it's interesting. This is one for the books. My router supports comments and admin password for the wireless. The other day I started using password from comments on my printer. Just for grins, I changed to admin password for the wireless and my printer was visible. Too check that the password has been the problem, I used the password of comments and the printer was not visible. I changed back to the password admin and power cycle the printer, and it was visible on the network. Who would have thought a password wireless comments/admin would create a problem like this.

I'm trying to install the HP Deskjet 2540 on my MacBook Air, Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite running. I downloaded the drivers on the HP site and installed the drivers. When I get to the HP Setup Utility, however, the clock has been running and my printer does not appear in the window. I tried re - install the drivers a number of times. I turned off the printer and turned it back. I have reset the router. Nothing has worked so far. The blue light on the printer just keeps blinking and I can't connect to it. One of the solutions was to press the wireless button and follow the prompts on the screen on the printer, but it is not an option on this printer.

• HP Wireless Printing Issues D110 - Hello service not recognized

I recently replaced a router at home... an old barricade smc with a netgear wndr3700v4

As this changes, we were able to print wireless from our mac... We did the things:

(1) upgrade to the latest drivers for printer HP for Mac OS x 10.6.x

(2) remove all printers and readded the D110 HP (no problem... was able to find the printer question o/n)

(3) when you try to print, the print utility gives the following informational message:

"Unable to connect to the printer; retrying in 30 seconds"

(4) to access "show printer Web page...". "the installation of the printer, a browser appears and tries to access:

http://hp76e9e.local./ <= this="" happens="" to="" be="" the="" bonjour="" domain="">

(5) of the printer itself, I am able to print the page HP Network Configuration... everything is allowed and seems good... the printer is configured for ip address: 192.168.2.103

(6) since my mac, I can ping 192.168.2.103 without any problem...

(7) since my mac, if I point a browser window on http://192.168.2.103/ I am able to access the web server on the printer...

While I can tell... it seems something weird with the Bonjour service... or the router to block somehow Hello packets.

Any thoughts? Suggestions?

Thank you!

Dave

Hi Dave,.

Check the configuration of your router for wensure that it put in place to allow multicasting, I suggest to check the following settings in the configuration of your router and check if that can help you:

Under Advanced > Setup > Lan Setup, ensure that the RIP-Direction established as long as both, the RIP Version like RIP - 2 M.

Under Advanced > configuration > WAN Configuration, make sure that disable the transmission by IGMP proxy is NOT checked.

After you save the change reboot the router and check if that can help you.

If it persists, I would suggest checking to update the router firmware available, as well contact Netgear support to check any change of parameters that may affect the management of multicast router.

• OfficeJet 8600 N911a MAC wireless stopped working after installing Win 7 Hello

Since my original installation of this printer in August 2013, I had a simple and flawless printing installation wireless for Macbook Pro (10,9), Macbook Air (10.7.5), iMac (10.6.8) (7.1.1) iPads and iPhones (7.1.1). Last night, I tried to connect Win 7 laptop to HP via Bonjour.

All devices except the iMac are now impossible to print. 10.6.8 OS seems to be ok.

All devices to recognize the 8600, but nothing prints. iphones and ipads acknowledge the 8600, but nothing happens when I click on print.

I tried to reset the default printer, download the drivers, reboot the wireless network, etc.

HP printer utility opens fine on the Mac, and I can see the power levels and other information related to the printer.

Help!

Einstein said to do the same thing repeatedly and expecting different results is insanity.

After reading the other posts on this forum, I have "reset" my mac printers, deleted my printers, reinstalled my printer, downloaded and installed the printer drivers, unplugged my router, power off my printer at least 3 times each, and that's all working again now.

I believe in putting in place this laptop Windows POS on my print caused network failure. I was no problem since I stopped using windows about 5 years, and then this. Lesson learned.

• Hello everyone at Acer! Can someone help me with an Acer wireless optical mouse >

I have an Acer AX 3300 pc it's an AMD 64-bit processor.

I bought a mouse with USB dongle Acer wireless.

It came without any driver and no instructions.

I thought it should be a plug-and-play device, but it comes up with "unrecognized device" and then looks like Windows for a driver. It seems that Windows does not have a compatible driver. I don't know if I need a USB driver or a mouse driver (now). All my USB ports work with other devices! The mouse is the model Acer LC. MCE01.002

I would be very grateful if someone can help me with this, I tried Acer site but you can't find the drivers.

Thank you very much in advance

According to Acer Direct, model LC. Taken MCE01.002 only supported Windows up to XP.
As a result, Acer never produced pilots for future versions of Windows.
I think that this mouse is no longer available so it seems extremely unlikely that all new drivers would never see the light of day.
At £14.99, it's probably easier to write this one down and get a better mouse.

• Running w / HR monitor AND headphones wireless w / Apple Watch 2 series

Since obtaining Apple Watch series 2, I've been out running with wireless headphones Powerbeats2 alongside the screen TickR HR, both related to the watch simultaneously via Bluetooth. While this works great, I wonder if I can do even better and lose the style HR chest strap monitor. Has anyone had success with wireless headphones that double as a monitor of human resources (e.g., Bose Soundsport Pulse), and specifies how was the heart rate?

Hello

Apple Watch includes a heart rate sensor built-in.

If you have not already done so, you can try to use this instead of an external monitor. When you use the application of the workout, the heart rate is measured continuously during the training:

• AirPrint not seeing HP wireless printers

After the upgrade to iOS 9.x would not print my iPad and iPhone on the network home. I uninstalled printers one re-installed. I rebooted the router and printers. Always Airprint could not locate the HP printers. Help appreciated

Hello GT - LR.

I understand that you are no longer able to print your wireless printers are connected to your home network. The steps below can help to restore your ability to print successfully from your iOS devices involved printers.

Check these things if you are unable to print, or if you see the message "No AirPrint Printers Found."

• On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, check that your device uses the latest available IOS and the app that you print from is up to date.
• On your Mac, use software update to update the Mac operating system and the applications that you have purchased from the Mac App Store.
• Check with the manufacturer of your printer to see if the firmware updates are available for your printer model.
• You can connect an AirPrint device to your network, either by bypass surgery or a direct connection to your Wi - Fi network.
• AirPrint devices connected to the USB port on the Apple AirPort base station or Time Capsule AirPort use AirPrint. If your printer includes AirPrint, connect it directly to your Wi - Fi network or Ethernet LAN port on your Base Station to print wireless.
• After turning on your printer, wait a few moments before trying to print. Some printers may take a minute or two after power to join your network.

• Hello printer does not appear in the list of IOS Printer Options

I have a home network with a router of Time Capsule.

I connected my Cannon MX920 wireless network.

The printer worked very well for my MacBook Air, my iMac, my Windows laptop, 10, my iPad and my iPhone.

There are no known pending software updates to devices.

I connected my HP OfficeJet 6500 (E709a) for the MacBook Air via USB and it works very well.

I installed on the portable Windows 10 Hello and I can print to the printer OfficeJet @ MacBook Air laptop Windows 10 and the iMac (and of course the MacBook Air) very well.

In Safari / Bookmarks / Hello on the MacBook Air, ONLY the Cannon printer is listed. The OfficeJet directly attached via the USB port does NOT appear.

My QUESTION is how can I make the printer OfficeJet @ MacBook Air appears as option in the printer Options / recent printers of dialogue so I can print to it from my IOS devices?

This seems to be a pretty simple configuration problem, and I don't see the need to spent $ 20 on the App Store to make it work. I see some comments along the lines of this problem, but the solutions are quite difficult to follow and seem to depend on having the printer appear in Safari / Bookmarks / Bonjour list.

I'll appreciate any solution (or explanation as to why it isn't a).

Hello DevGuy,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community Support from Apple. I know how useful it can be to have all your devices on the network with a central printer, and I'd like to help offer a glimpse into what could prevent your of you using to print to your HP 6500 iOS devices.

In order to print from a device iOS, the printer must be connected to the same Wi - Fi network and supports the Air Print feature. After some research, it seems that the 6500 HP does not support this feature directly. You may be able to find a solution based on HP in the App Store app, but this printer does not have Air Print capacity based on support documentation, that I could find at HP.

For more information about known printing of Air and a list of compatible printers, have look at this article: About AirPrint

Unfortunately there is no setting in system preferences to change this for a reason any.

If you really need to do this, you must do so through terminal to modify a specific file in a very specific way.

• Wireless Solo 2 promotion

Hello

This might be a stupid question, but please bear with me.

I recently bought an iMac 27 inches (end of 2015) with a reseller authorized Apple (B & H in New York). After I bought it, I learned the promotion for Solo2 of Beats free wireless with any purchase of the iMac. I would still be able to get the helmet, even if I bought it from an authorized reseller?

Thank you!

Probably not, you have a discount by buying at B & H, they are not subject to double reduction. However, you can always ask them but do not expect a Yes.
