  Open your browser and type in a search in the address bar. As soon as you start typing, your entry will appear at the top of the page with a magnifying glass next to it. Press the right side of that line and choose an alternative search engine. Then, when you perform a search, it is the provider which will appear.

  Basically, I guess when you go full screen mode, tabs and the search bar should hide automatically until I move my mouse to the top of the screen to the right? Well, this does not happen despite try the suggestions on other threads for example right click on an empty space next to the tabs and hide toolbars check (already verified on) and goes up to about: config and check browser.fullscreen.autohide is set to true.

  However, I have two other options which I think might be a clue as to the problem. There is an extensions.browser.fullscreen.autohide that is set to TRUE and extensions.fullscreen.noautohide set to FALSE.

  Is there an extension or add-on I could interfere? I have installed... session maybe Manager what could be?

• CS5 Photoshop offline help no malfunction search result

  In summary, the Adobe Community Help application or "launch in the help browser" features custom return search results for Adobe Photoshop CS5 reference offline.

  I use my machine head design on the net. It's not often I get the help text, but I have a weird problem when I did. I am bang up to date with all updates of CS5 and all aid for CS5 content has been downloaded and is properly marked as local and is up to date. (I even tried to uncheck all local CS5 help refferences in the options and the re - download).

  If I search for say "Paintbrush" in aid of PS, with the 'Local' selected option, I don't get ANY results! (and yet, the help text / manual is clearly visible in the right pane of the application "Adobe Community Help"). If I try to use the option 'online', which has no problem to return results.

  Q: why don't Adobe Community Help ANY return search results for ANY query searched for local help PS5?

  Local search works (or seems to) for other local refferences as Fireworks or even. Just not Photoshop.

  Hi all: thanks for your messages here.  There was a problem with the local help using Photoshop download package. The team has rebuilt the package and confirmed that the local search for Photoshop now works.  Update your local copy of Photoshop by using the aid package update. Here's what to do:

  1. open the application of aid

  2. open preferences

  3. go to the Local content

  4. highlight/select point using Photoshop

  5. press the button Delete.

  6. then click on update

  The application should automatically download and update the new aid package.

  When you press the help icon in the Dreamweaver or other CS5, by default, the Community aid application application opens.

  The font size is not adjustable in the CHA. To make help more accessible and to the size of the fonts pages at your convenience, follow these steps:

  In the application for Community assistance, go to Edition > Preferences. Here, in general settings choose Accessibility Mode > open in the help browser. This gives you all the choices you normally have in your default browser, including the expansion of the size of the font.

• I have blocked all the Web pages of my University by accident.

  Thanks for your help. I was on the site of Blackboard at my University (I'm an instructor) and was trying to listen to the podcast of student assignments. An icon like a lego brick appeared with the message 'a plugin is required to play this content. At the top of the icon is a little link that says "block X".

  I clicked on this link, assuming that he would allow me to 'unlock' the material. In this window of Firefox I asked for any material domain name www.nd.edu.au at my University to be unlocked, but now I've lost all access to all of its pages. Looks like I have everything blocked by mistake.

  If you use extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) which can block content (e.g., Adblock Plus, NoScript, Flash Block, Ghostery) then make sure that these extensions are not blocking content.

  If it works in Mode safe mode and normal mode with all extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) off and then try to find which extension is the cause by allowing an extension at a time until the problem reappears.

  When I type in the bar of navigation... the place where you type in the URL you want to 'go'... and what I'm typing isn't going to a url... it goes to google.

  I don't want firefox 'useful' send everything I type or spell it to google or someone else... but not to google because they are more really bad!

  How can I disable all THE 'useful' (for google, not for me!) of what I type in the url bar?

  I typed 'about:config' in the 'location bar.
   clicked past the warning
  typed 'keyword.url'
  double clicked on the second of two lines, which had said
   'keyword.enabled' ... 'true'
  it now reads
   'keyword.enabled' ... 'false'
  

  Now firefox just gives me an error when I type stuff that is not a url, or is a garbled url, into the location bar. Big Brother is no longer watching. From the location bar anyway. I'm sure my 'helpful' browser is still reporting lots of other stuff to Big Brother. Mozilla seems to be a subsidiary of google.

  When you navigate using several tabs, FF doesn't warm me if I close accidentally all the window the upper right part of X. All tabs are closed at the same time.

  Here are the things I've already tried (with help):

  browser.tabs.warnOnQuit user value Boolean true (it was missing, I added it)

  Then I tried (with help):

  Will not work.

  But then I realized something strange. If I have that a single open browser window, all the tabs are close at the same time by clickin X (top corner). But when I have at least two separate open browser windows, then FF gives me the warning following so Im trying to close the window with several tabs: "confirm close...» You are about to close the tabs [number of tabs open]. Are you sure you want to continue? [x] keep warm me when I try to close multiple tabs... [close tabs] [Cancel] »

  And it only works when I have at least two separate browser, open windows. How can I make it work when Im using only a single window with multiple tabs? It drives me crazy because I always accidentally click the X instead of close the tab only and I've lost all the other tabs.

  Ed. Even with a FF 12.0a1 (64-bit) and 9 FF now. Reset settings will no longer work! Could you please do something to make it work!

  I had the same problem. To resolve this problem, you need to reset the settings of Firefox. To do this, click the Firefox button, go to help and select restart without add-on. A window will appear. Check the reset settings Firefox area, then continue. The warning dialog box should now work.

  PS It seems to be a problem with your profile, not Firefox itself. I tried another profile in Firefox (a profile with all of the default settings) and not having a problem.

• Computer laptop 15-ay013nr: 15-ay013nr FN keys not working not

  Hey guys and girls!  I just got my new laptop today, but the fn + F1-12 keys do not work.  The FN key works, chrome it registers itself as opening it's own help page when you press fn + f1, but the volume does nothing, done nothing, flight etc.  I looked on the site to download HP drivers and cannot find anything.  Can't find any missing software help software.  Does anyone know where to download the software or activate the button fn?

  What happens if you set the keys fn in the bios to disabled people?

  Normally this setting would mean that just pressing f1 - f12 to run the secondary function (i.e. f1 for help, browser f11 full screen etc.), while the primary functions would require that the fn key is held down (IE fn + f4 to view display output options, fn + f6 to mute the volume, etc.).

  Should now behave this way or the bios setting has no effect?

  Sorry you have so much trouble ordering of recovery disks. HP site has this problem on a sporadic basis - usually change the help browser, but I see that you have done this. You might wait a day or two to see if it gets worked. Or fill out the form on the halfway point on this page. If all goes well, there will be a resolution here.

  Once you switch to another page, you can tap on the page number indicator (small triangle indicating the page number). • Photoshop CC 2015 bugs

  Updates are getting worse.

  Every time the old bugs are not resolved, new bugs introduced.

  When you open Photoshop, tools are reset.

  I use the healing tool, but every time I open PHotoshop, the spot healing tool is here. I spend every time.

  It was supposed to have been set there are two updates, but the bug is still there

  1. clone tool remains in mode sample

  When I try to clone, now the tool sticks often in sample mode and you need to press the button and then try again.

  It is a nasty bug and takes a long time.

  The subscription model is terrible for users.

  With the old model of update, Adobe had to gather the things or people would not be updated.

  Now, you have to pay anyway, regardless how bad coding updates.

  I wanted to know if the Plugins like Cup & cut my PNG Express or any other 3rd party plugins can be installed and if it is compatible with Photoshop CC 2015.

  The Extension handler code moved into the creative Cloud Desktop application.  There are the old managers of extension for the 'old' versions of Photoshop.  Adobe wants new modules to add their way through their web application Menu > help > Browse Add-ons. The creative Cloud Desktop application is also punished to run.  It's ridiculous he must condition thing way Adobe and wait for approval from Adobe for your add-on to be accepted and waiting for approval from Adobe for updates of your module.  Add-ons - may need to be updated when Adobe makes changes to Photoshop you'll need to do, then wait for Adobe to accept the update.
