• CUT, COPY, PASTE and DELETE greyed

  Installed LR5 (update) when I select and image and try to go to CUT, COPY, PASTE or DELETE they are grayed out. tried to reinstall the same question

  Here in Lightroom (at least Mac) and works when you do keyword, otherwise they are greyed out.

  After the removal of the restriction, charge history. Copy-paste should work now.

• How to get the do you want to replace these files"dialog box appears in windows 7 (as on xp when cut/copy/paste files)

  I was wondering if there was a way to get windows 7 to look like windows xp then copy and paste files. I don't see the pop-up box asking you 'do you want to replace these files' on 7, I want to see this box and know that 7 will overwrite and copy everything.
  The details of this are, I have a folder with a lot of stuff in there on my desktop windows xp, when I try to copy and paste it on my windows 7 is not to copy and paste all the stuff. I have plenty of hard drive and don't ever see an error message. So why I wonder if the same 7 will overwrite some files. Help, please!

  I can't copy from Firefox and stick to the word, as I did in Internet Explorer. It will just paste what I had copied the word before the browsing session. There is an add-in in the word "Person name (Outlook message recipients)", but I don't know what that means if anything on this subject.

• EditField does not support the cut/copy/paste?

  I added a simple EditField to a screen and can not pull the text selected by the user.  The following code displays the message 'Not copyable' every time.  Yes, the text is selected in the user interface when this code is executed. I use the JDE 4.7 and the behavior is the same on the Simulator and the device (storm).

  One rookie mistake.  The EditField was loses focus before the Manager listed in my original post was called.  It seems that the selection is lost when the EditField loses focus.  I solved by overridding the method of 'onUnfocus' of the EditField and pull the selected text and place it in the Clipboard.

• Cut/copy and paste NOT working, NO malware and registry change only temporary in FF 18.0.2

  I followed EACH suggested 'remedy' for FAILURE cut/copy - paste function in FF 18.0.2 without success and am entirely whereas FF UNINSTALL and go back to IE8. There are MANY features FF I love and want to keep it, but the simplest things become so frustrating...
  SUCH as: 1) Clipboard worked ONLY SPORADIQUEMENT, no matter what I do, 2) why don't y at - there no history URL when you use the PRIVATE BROWSING so I can trace my own steps if necessary, press BACKSPACE or by clicking the arrow to the left. By pressing the arrow to the left ONLY goes a certain number of steps back and loses my point of departure, 3) why the EMPTY the CACHE NOT button erase the HISTORY. for example, I go to a website, say email Yahoo, do my thing and disconnect, and then click HOME, then clear the Cache and enter Yahoo email to a different e-mail account and Yahoo acknowledged my attempt and me in my email previous username. Shouldn't happen, in my opinion. No help here, NO running AV/malware detection/clean and remove registry entries since NONE OF THESE do something positive?

  Some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox and all the leftover program files and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps one by one:

  1. Download the latest version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org office and save the installer to your computer.
  2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (click Exit in the file menu or Firefox) and confirm all future messages.
  3. Now, uninstall Firefox by following the steps mentioned in the article to Uninstall Firefox .

  IMPORTANT: Under Windows, the uninstall program has the option to remove your personal data and settings. Make sure that you have not check this option. If not all of your bookmarks, passwords, extensions, customizations and other Firefox data user profile will be removed from your computer.

  After uninstalling Firefox on Windows, delete the folder of the program "Mozilla Firefox", located by default in one of the following locations:

  • (Windows 32-bit) C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox

     • On 64-bit Windows, you'll see a folder "Program Files (x 86)" AND a "Program Files" folder. Open the Program Files (x 86) folder.
  4. You are looking for a folder of Mozilla Firefox . If you find one, right click and select delete and confirm that you want to move the folder to the trash.

  Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:

  1. Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
  2. Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.

  To resolve this issue, let us try these methods:

  Method 1.

  Connect another keyboard and check.

  Connect this keyboard on another computer and check the status.

  Method 2.

  Try to use the on-screen keyboard on and check.

  It seems to be a blank when trying to paste from a Cup.  'copy' and 'paste' will appear on the menu, but they do not seem to do anything.

• Envy 17-j020us, cannot cut/copy and paste in the file Explorer

  I can cut/copy and paste the url and the text to speech, etc, but I am unable to cut/copy and paste files in Windows File Explorer. I tried malwarebytes and virus programs running. HP support has tried to access remotely to identify the problem without success. Y at - it another option in addition to a factory reset or restore point? Thanks in advance for any help.

  Have you tried the three methods of cutting and pasting? Using the keyboard shortcuts CTRL-X CTRL-V, right click on the file and selecting cut, then using the tape from the file Explorer / File menu.

  If you have tried all three, the next thing to try is a boot minimum to see if something is in the background to block the order. A clean boot loads Windows with the drivers and the minimal software. This link of Support technique Microsoft will show you how do it.

  Once you have made the clean boot try three methods of cutting and pasting. If it works the next step is to go back to msconfig (see Microsoft link above) and enable half the services you shut-off valve to the clean boot. Then try to cut and paste again. Keep half of the remaining services that allows until you cannot cut and paste, then disable half of the services that you just active. This, until what specify you what service has problem.

  If after all that you still have a problem then the next step would be to backup your files on an external hard drive or a USB flash drive and then doing a complete System Recovery.

• Cut and paste in Windows Explorer is * copy * instead of move.

  In Solution Explorer, if I try to move files and folders using cut and paste (or ctrl-x and then Ctrl + v, or 'cut' and then 'paste' from the Edit menu), they were copied instead of moved. It started just past recently after years of using this technique.

  If I right click, drag and select 'Go here', he moves correctly.

  Any ideas? Very much appreciated.

  Your computer is connected to a domain?

  This can happen when there is rdpclip.exe service runs as part of a domain network. You can try to stop the rdpclip.exe service to see if that helps.

  Another thing that can help is to make sure that you have installed Windows XP Service Pack 3.
