Help iTunes music movement

To save space on my Macbook Air, I want to spend all the music a laptop Samsung 250 GB drive.

On the laptop, I tried to drag the iTunes folder to the portable player. A message says that there is not enough room.

How can he not have enough room? My iTunes library is about 56GB.

I've deleted all backups on the Samsung for free space, but still not enough space message.

If I have iTunes game, is to go all my music to iCloud I have to do? I would like to access my music on all my Apple devices.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Select the samsung desktop drive icon.

Press CMD + i

How much free space is on the drive?

You don't say how you have moved your front support. A lot of people do it the wrong way.

Looks like you need to consolidate and organize all your content in the media on the external hard drive folder.  It's the location displayed in iTunes > Preferences > advanced.  iTunes will copy files to this place and after you check that everything went very well you can remove the originals from other places.

  • Exasperating, helps iTunes

I'm having an absolute nightmare with iTunes and to be perfectly honest, I'm feeling hours to throw my iPhone in the tray (or eBay) and never again touch iTunes. It seems that, unless you want to manage your music exactly how apple wants you to do, then you are out of luck. What I have to do is apparently quite simple but seems impossible to achieve.

    What I want is this:

1 iTunes folder containing the library files and a folder with all of my music on the inside. This folder is synchronized between my PC and laptop using sync bit torrent. Such as the two libraries are always the same, and I can sync my phone to make it one, wireless.

I want my laptop and PC iTunes libraries to be exactly the same and maintain local copies. With the help of music iCloud should intervene only if I add a playlist of music from apple or the song to my library that I did not.

My iPhone as it has 64 GB of storage should work in the same way, with files stored locally on the device and then added songs and playlists I don't own apple's music.

My iPad has limited space, so it must use only my music library iCloud with lists of read-only that I manually download being stored locally.

I currently have the following problems:

Frequently, my laptop seems to return to using only iCloud music and none of the local files. When I try and add my files the library it creates duplicate files

If I put these files in the folder "automatically add to iTunes" and then copies iCloud get replaced with local lines, however he then proceeds to "organize" my media in folders that I absolutely do not want to and have all the options for this unchecked.

If I restore my music folder to the way I want it organized, I go into iTunes and, naturally, there is not an exclamation next to each song. I can locate a song, it will play then fine, he will ask then if I want to use this location of songs to find other songs in my library, I press Yes and it can find no other song despite them being all in a single folder, stuck!

Despite none of this work correctly if I add a song to my iTunes library, it absolutely syncs with any device. If I try to sync manually it tells me iCloud music is enabled and no opportunity to do so. Also infuriating because it gives me no option to add local files on my device, the only option seems to be to delete my iPhone any library, disable the music to iCloud and then Resync, whenever I want to add a track.

IMHO, if you don't want questions and problems, you have the right to use the software the way it was designed to be used. You made up your own system, then you are surprised that it does not work like that. It is not reasonable.

  • My iTunes Store movies do not play in iTunes 12.3.3

    Hi all

After you have installed the latest version of iTunes (12.3.3) and OSX 2016-002 (v. 10.10.5) security update I can no longer

play my movies purchased (from the iTunes Store) in my MacBookPro (mid-2012) machine.

I see the key symbol next to the key play of the iTunes player and I get a black screen when I try

to see one of my purchased movies.

Unfortunately, it did not help the upgrade to Yosemite to El Capitan (v. 10.11.4) yesterday.

    The problem persists.

I tried to install El Capitan in 'safe mode' and re-install again using OSX recovery but

has not solved the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Problem solved, but I don't know how.

After re-installation of El Capitan now everything works.

At the same time, it could have been a problem with my Apple store

who blocked my access to my iTunes temporarily movies for some reason any.

  • iTunes music NOT bought on my QNAP TS-251 +.

    Hello

I just bought a QNAP TS-251 + to move my music and photos to an external storage and a server to share with all my currency. I moved my "ITunes music" folder to my QNAP and configure the iTunes server. I have most of my music, but not everything I have purchased from Apple. I am at a loss on what I got wrong or how to fix it.

Someone has an answer to this query?

  • Gray 6 s more than 128 GB iPhone iTunes music library

I have a new iPhone 6 s more than 128 GB. ITunes music library synchronized from your desktop Windows 10 for iPhone and most of the music is grayed out.

I uninstalled iTunes from the computer Windows 10. I need help to remove the iPhone iTunes library so I can start trying to solve this problem.

    How to uninstall iPhone music?

Contempt as I figured out how delete music from the iPhone. Now cannot get it to sync. The 3 days spent with this iPhone have been a waste of time. I will just return the iPhone tomorrow and back to Android and the cost of this iPhone close to a grand! I can install the iTunes on an Android library and play it fine and use as ringtones. However, iTunes is a program from Apple and iTunes is an Apple smartphone, and it is no longer supported on Android! It's unreal.

  • Everything I try to download the default settings for the file type: iTunes Music Player

I've recently updated my laptop and Vista for the first time.  I now have difficulties to download zip files of emails and sites such as magnatune.com.  When I choose to save, he saves as file "iTunes Music Player" type and creates a copy of my iTunes library.  The file is marked however I save it, but when I try to open it, it's my library iTunes rather than any other file, I tried to download.

Can anyone help?  Please forgive me in advance for NOT being very computer savvy... have patience!
    Thank you!
    Traci

    Hello world.

Simplest of them would follow these steps:
    1. Click Start > default programs
    2. Click "Set your default programs"
    3. list programs, click on 'Windows Media Player '.
    4. Click set this program as default
This should prevent itunes from launching automatically when you open the zip file. However, I use itunes to version 8.1 of one year, but again, I don't have this problem. I suggest that you need to update your itunes.
If the problem persists, follow these steps:
    1. Click Start > default of programs
    2. Click "associate any type of file or Protocol with a program.
    3. Scroll to the bottom for. Zip
    4. click it and then click on "Program Change"
    5. In the list that appears, select WinZip or WinRAR. If they are not displayed, then click on the drop down arrow besides "other programs." If it still does not her you must install winRAR or WinZIP.
    6. If WinZIP or WinRAR appeared, then click Ok and click Ok.
    7. If it is not then go to google, search for WinZIP or WinRAR and download the latest version.
What should probably solve all your queries.
