  This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don't be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.

  Step 1

  The goal of this step is to determine if the problem is localized to your user account.

  Select the feedback connections* and log in as a guest. Do not use the Safari connection only 'user comments' created by 'find my Mac '.

  While signed in as a guest, you will have access to your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you use them for the first time. Do not be alarmed by this behavior; It's normal. If you need any password or other personal information in order to complete the test, save, print, or write them before you start.

  Test while signed in as a guest. You have to re-create your trackpad settings. Same problem?

  After testing, log on to the guest account and in your own account, disable it if you wish. The files that you created in the guest account will be automatically deleted when you log out of it.

  Test in safe mode. Same problem?

  After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and make sure you always have the problem. View the results of steps 1 and 2.

  I understand that you just bought a MacBook Air in an Apple store, and when you plug your iPhone 6 in it, you are to hear a sound indicating that the connection does not work.  If your MacBook Air has a port USB - C, you must use the USB - C for Lightning cable to connect your iPhone.

  Any third party software that is not installed on the App Store or by drag-and - drop in the Applications folder and uninstall by drag - move to the trash, is a modification of the system.

  Back up all data before making any changes.

  Generally, you will need to restart the computer in order to perform an uninstall. Until you do this, there may be no effect, or the unpredictable effects.

  If you can't remove the software in any other way, you will have to erase and install OS X. Never install any third party software, unless you're sure you know how to uninstall in the contrary case, it can create problems which are very difficult to solve.

  Try to remove the complex system of changes by hunting for files by name, often will not work and can make the problem worse. The same goes for 'utilities' as the 'AppCleaner"designed to remove software.

  Unfortunately, Mac is not waterproof. You're lucky if it still works after contact with your favorite juice.   I use a MacBookAir.  I send a photo from Lightroom 5 to 12 items and appears in the photo, BUT when I press "Layers" (bar at the top on the screen), ALL THE CHOICES (for example, "duplicate layer") are 'whited out' and none of them pressing results in NO ACTION.  In other words, I'm IMPOSSIBLE the ELEMENTS of USE IN LAYERS 12.     All have worked (and STILL works) fine to 10 items.  Something fundamentally wrong, but I don't know what!  ANY IDEAS?   There are two possibilities

  (1) you are using a 16-bit/channel image - go to Image-> Mode-> 8 bits/channel

  (2) you are not in Expert mode - click Expert top

• Pass an audition CS5.5 works don't not on 2014 MacBook Air

  Just upgraded computers (on a 2008 MacBook) to a 2014 of MacBook Air (13, early 2014).  I had Audition CS5.5 on my old Mac, so I disabled it, installed on the new Air and activated.  Everything seemed to install smoothly, but when I open the program and open an audio file, it simply doesn't work, plain and simple.  I touched the game and nothing happens. I try with the space bar and nothing happens.  The play button lights up but nothing plays.  I can add effects to titles and see that changes are in the waveforms, but can not hear back.  Even after changing, I can't save these changes.

  Running OSX Yosemite (10.10.3, even my old MacBook with no problems)

  With respect to the hearing, it is CS5.5.  There do not appear to be updates available.  I know that I can go to CS6 and I have no problem to pay for upgrade, but it will only do it if I know for a fact that the issue will be resolved.  And honestly, unless there are updates that are earth-shattering, I'm perfectly happy with 5.5.

  This means generally that the hearing cannot connect to the audio interface. You will need to check the settings in the Audio hardware / preferences of the hearing. You may also check the Mac audio and Midi to make sure that your audio interface is configured correctly. You have the correct audio drivers installed for your audio interface?

  Hi all, hope you can help me with this. My model of Macbook Air early 2014 seems to have some problems with its battery. The battery status says "do not load" and it is stuck at 74%. My charger light is still red and I tried to check the status of the battery, it is said to be normal; also I have reset the SMC and all that stuff that is suggested on the discussion Forum, but still it is of no use.
