I'm trying to set up my printer hp deskjet 3050 to print wireless from my ipad/iphone...help!

The reason that the issue is important, the Deskjet 3050 does not support Apple Airprint.  The 3050 a supports Airprint.

This document lists the supported Airprint printers.

  • HP Photosmart Premium C309 printer needs help with the iPad

    Hello

I'm a bit confused about what printers are supported by the new AirPrint Apple via the iPad.

I have a so-called ePrinter Wireless: HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m, which can not be found on iPad by Airprint.

This printer is using the Airprint?

List of HP a Photosmart Premium e - AiO (B310), but I'm not sure if it is the same printer and what vs B310 C309 printer same or different?

If my C309 actually supported Airprint - why it doesn't work with Airprint?

C309 is not supported - will be when it happens and how?

    Michael Iversen

We can always use c309g printer with the iPad. All what we need to do is install HP iPrint app iPad and use it to print as the printer must be connected wireless.

  • How can I connect my HP Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless to my ipad to print wireless

I am trying to connect my ipad to the printer above and it tells me No Airprint Printers Found.  Can someone tell me how to get these two connected items.  Thank you very much

Use it wireless setting in the iPad to connect to your printer. This will be an ad hoc connection.

You may not be connected to your wireless router and the printer at the same time so unplug no matter what router you are connect to before you do...

Once you have done this, you will be able to print documents and emails fror your iPad to your HP Offijet 8500 printer.

If you want to use ePrint (your printer is capable of printing), follow the instructions in this document from HP web.

  • Attempts to connect to the Dell V505 printer wireless set up - get error "WSD Print has not a driver" peripheral.

I'm trying to set up a printer Dell V505 to a Dell Studio laptop running Windows 7.  I followed an indicating knowledge base article I want to uninstall my driver from dell and installed by using the Windows Vista SP2 compatibility mode, what I've done. After having done that, I'm gettting error "WSD Print device is not a driver" I'm not sure if it's a windows problem or from dell if seeking answers at once.

This printer connected easily to the Vista desktop running when put in place wirelessly.d

    Thanks for any help.

Connect to the device using the WSD Protocol is available only when it is directly connected to the printer.   Try setting the printer using a Standard TCP/IP Port or if the Vista machine is 32 bit, and Windows 7 machine is also 32 bits (or the two bits 64) sharing the printer from Vista and establish a connection to get the installed printer driver, and then perform the network plug and play on the Plug-and-play device should use the driver to install the rest of the unit.

You will need the network printer configuration page to obtain the host name or IP address and create a Standard TCP/IP Port. Alan Morris Windows printing team; Here Microsoft Knowledge Base search: http://support.microsoft.com/search/Default.aspx?adv=1

  • problems of communication between the computer and printer (wireless)

I installed a wireless printer and its not connect with my laptop

each model is different.  You will need to read the manual on this.  Most likely the IP address assigned to the printer is no longer valid in your current setup.

from a command like use ping to see if the network route works

Ping 1.1.1.1 (change the config page IP address 1.1.1.1).

If you have configured the IP address as static you return to DHCP on the network.

  • C7280 all in the a photosmart printer wireless problem

    Photosmart c7280 All in One

    Windows 7 64 b

Unable to connect to the modem

    no change

This photosmart c7280 all-in-one is no spring chicken, and there were no problems so far. It is connected to 2 laptops via a Qwest wireless modem. After that be able to connect to the printer for a week or two the ability to access the printer has disappeared... printer shows offline. To resolve this problem, I had to redo the SSID and WEP information and it would be upward. Today when this 'fix' again once he could not find the modem even if I am connected to my office at the top of the page and online. I had unplugged the modem and brought up in power go online without a problem, I so I stop the 7280 and restarted, is returned to Setup Wizard wireless, put in the news and hit OK... it has started the search for the modem then hooked! Unable to do anything, power button did not work, had to pull the plug to get it to turn off. Back on and everything but the wireless worked, did this x 4 with the same result. Is there a separate card to control the wireless function? It is replaceable and it sounds like the likely cause of the problem?

    Thank you, Bob

Looks like the wireless card has failed.  Print a network Test Wireless in the network menu on the front of the printer.

If she does not, reset the printer by turning it off, keeping the # 6 keys while a few seconds after turning it on.

If the radio is toast, it can be practically replaced.

    Thank you

I was skeptical about yet another facility, I'm afraid, and when I went there, I realized that it was not possible to connect the printer to the router without some serious furniture removal.

This is not serious in any case as long as the solution is:

Delete indicator SNMP enabled on the printer port

  • HP2540 establishment with the iPad

A neighbor just got an iPad Air and a HP2540 and asked me to set it up for him.

Can someone advise how. given that the choice to start the installation on the relevant URL (www.hp.com/eprint/dj2540 returns):

Download the guide to set up printer for installation of hardware and software
We're sorry. It seems that there is an error downloading the software for your printer. Please check back later or you can insert the CD and choose the option "Thank you, I prefer the basic installation CD" when the first screen appears.

I "checked back later" several times and get the same message.

The software/driver concerned are available elsewhere? If Yes, where?

Hi, the reason why you get this message is because there is no driver software available for mobile devices. In order to print from the iPad on the Deskjet 2540, you can use the Apple's AirPrint feature that is integrated into the operating system iOS on iPad. Simply connect the iPad to a wireless network and then connect the printer to the same network (consult the guide online for how to do this and after back if you have problems).

When you want to print a photo/email/webpage or document on the iPad just click the action icon and impression should show as an option. Select Print and the device should find the 2540 Deskjet on the network and you can go front and printing. Here is a link to all the information you need to know about AirPrint

  • MG6220 printer must be physically connected to the router to operate wireless?

Is the need for printer wireless MG6220 be physlically connected to a router to access wireless?

No, it is connected via radio according to the installation instructions.  The only thread on the MG6220 printer's power cord.

Installing from the DVD has also updated all programs of Canon and recorded my new printer.  I answered my own question.

  • Is it possible to have a connection to printer wireless and wireless Internet at the same time with Windows Vista?

I'm trying to connect my wireless printer while maintaining my wireless internet connection. Is this possible?

    Hello ScottWatt,

Thanks for your post.  Yes, however, there is a specific way to go about it.  Since you have wireless internet, you probably have a wireless router.  In this case, you must change your printer settings to connect to the router. You can find information on how to do this either through your manual, or online from the manufacturer's Web site.

Then you would connect your computer to the Wireless internet connection as well.

From there, both your computer and the printer would be on the same network, just install the printer on a network and you can surf the web and print wireless.

  • Officejet J6480 carriage jams when printing wirelessly via the plugin from HP printing service

I try to print on my printer OfficeJet J6480 HP all-in-one to my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 tablet that runs Android 4.4 Wireless using the "HP Print Service Plugin on the tablet.

    Measures already taken;

Sucessfully downloaded/installed the Service HP Print on shelf Plugin

Radio wireless to the printer and correctly configured to communicate with the router wirelessly activated successfully.

    Problem:

When you try to print something from the tablet to the wireless printer, the printer is trying to perform the print operation (flow paper in the printer from paper tray, shows 'Printing' on the printer screen), but then never made a real impression and gets a 'Transport Jam' indication on the printer screen.

When this occurs above, I opened the hood top, checked for jammed paper in the paper path (Nothing), did tension of printer many times, cycle of fact alignments cleanings and cartridge many times, changed the paper to different types of paper.

None of these actions corrected the problem...

I'll also add that when you perform the steps of printing with the radio wireless on off the printer and the cable connected to the printer, the printer functions normally when you print from my pc applications - no traffic jams. Also, the printer works normally when you perform a function 'copy' locally from the printer control panel - not roadways of jams.

I thought maybe an update of the firmware to the printer could solve this problem - ideas about this being a likely solution?

BTW - how you normally clear / would correct a cart-jam regardless of printing wirelessly or through an ethernet cable?

If the firmware update is not a solution, any comment on what could be the cause of the problem?

If an update is available, could you tell me how to do the upgrade and where can I download it from?

Thanks for all your comments... Denny

    E - rog,

Two things I wanted to first of all thank you a lot for the response to my original message concerning the problem of printing wirelessly to my printer HP J6480 of the Tablet, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 via the Plugin of Service HP Print.

Secondly, I wanted to aplogize for the very long delay in responding to your... I had some health problems with a family member who prevented me to try your suggestions to the problem.

I am pleased to report that I managed to solve the problem... I am now able to print to the printer of the tablet.

A little history on the fix...

I tried to download and install the update of the firmware from the link you provided, while having the printer connected to the PC (Windows) computer via a USB connection, as you suggest. (It was initially connected through my home network, so I had to first uninstall, then reinstall via USB connection). When you try to install the downloaded firmware it failed, even after several attempts to re-downloading/reinstalling.

Instead, I uninstalled the printer again, reinstalled over the home network, downloaded the update of the firmware directly from the HP site by locating the printer model, then the firmware. This time the firmware successfully installed (was able to view the progress of installation of the firmware in the display on the front panel of the printer). Make the installation of the firmware with the printer installed on the network domestic (instead fo via USB), the installation process allowed me to search for the printer on the network - it found it successfully and successfully installed the firmware.

After this successful firmware installation and turn on the wireless radio on the printer (via the button on the front panel), I was able to print successfully from the tablet... YES!

Needless to say, there is no carriage jam messages as before... and I did not try your other suggestions to go to the HP article on carriage jam error States/solutions.

I am really gratefull for your response/suggestions...fixing this problem did the usefulness of my tablet to increase dramatically to have the ability to print... cudos to you for your efforts on this forum and a big "thumbs up" for your records.

    Denny
