Help with anchor points

After some research, I decided to open my own ticket and try and get this resolved, or at least learn more about the functioning of the anchor points. I wanted to design my Web site for people with monitors of resolution higher than most of the people have full HD monitors BUT frame the site it is also visible on a laptop computer that will be the smallest resolution, as I updated my page width 1300 pixels which, for me, does not seem over the top. Here is a screenshot of the layout of my site.http://i.imgur.com/pDk5BjW.png

If you notice that the anchor at the bottom left is aligned with the edge of browsers, but when you click on the link further down the page the page horizontally derivatives, but when I run physically scroll image if switches back to place, I would like to know if this is possible or if there is a better way to create a great site that allows people with higher to see more of my images resolutions , but not leave out people with lower resolutions.

Edit: This is a quick edit to say that I have the selected page as centered in the page properties menu and I have Centre of the United Nations it seems to work fine but of course everything is left justified so I lose a few details on the left edge, just don't feel good

Instead of using an image of 1300 create a rectangle of width and set your image as the fill for the rectangle. It will then adjust to the users screen but keep your content and anchors of tact and centered.

  • Personal warping of music with anchor points?

    I need to get a model of very specific chain with a musical score (2 measures). When I take the steps and back up I can use string functions that do not include a precise control. Make art artbrush out of it. Draw a curved line, and then apply to the brush.

  • I can edit the Bézier handles symmetrically with Anchor Point tool?

    In CC when using the pen tool on PC, I like the way that you press Alt and Anchor Point tool allows to modify Anchor Points and paths on the fly. But to convert an anchor point in the curve, the Bézier handles soar symmetrically compared to start but after letting go, I can only go back and modify the handles independently using this tool who loses the symmetry and therefore the sweetness in the anchor point

    Is it possible to edit the Bézier handles symmetrically using this tool after the initial conversion of the corner anchor to smooth?

    Thank you

    N °

    If you want to change the handles symmetrically, so that they are uninterrupted - direct face-to-face and the same length, you have to start over - drag - click on the anchor with the anchor Point tool.

    I don't think you should use the Alt key

    After that, assuming that both handles are uninterrupted, you can click drag with the direct Selection (white arrow) tool on the end of handles and the curve will remain smooth as handles to remain intact.

    so in short, use the direct Selection tool (press and hold Ctrl), if you want to change unilaterally, without breaking the 2 handles.

  • How create/reuse window pop-up with anchor point

    In the style guide, there is a section on the pop-up windows indicating that they should be anchored with the context object / coming from the window. See https://developercenter.vmware.com/web/standards/-/pop-up-windows for details.

    Have looked through the vSphere Web Client 5.1 SDK examples, I see not where this style would be used in the samples. Is there a particular base class, that we can extend to for this feature? Or an existing object, we can call directly?

    Thank you.

    Yes, there is a class AnchoredDialog in Internet Client SDK 5.5, although it looks like a few things missing to do exactly what you want. But you're ready for it I can give you a work around.

  • Problem with anchor points?

    I have a problem on the use of anchors on a page.

    So I have this site that has products page. The page contains dozens of photos of products that I ordered in their own sections. I made the page while in the side left is a vertical navigation menu and when you click on some links it scrolls the page to the specific section. It works wonderful but... For example, when I clicked on a few links and it has scrolls up and down the page and then I don't want to return to any page, I was earlier (front page, for example), there is no that. It just goes back to the section I clicked earlier. Can do something about it? Explained it's understandable?

    That is simply how your browsing history. It's nothing that you can control from within the HTML code. You will need to use additional links / menus if you want to go to predetermined locations.

  • Help with display point only.

    Hello

    I have a question on works of the element (display only). I've created an article and in the settings I chose (Exit Code from PL/SQL) for the value (based on). The code was.
    declare
    v_result number;
    begin
    select PREDICTION (REG_BREAST USING *) into v_result
    FROM app_tumors;
    return v_result;
    end;
    When I ran the page, it gives me the following message is displayed. (ORA-06550: line 6, column 1: PLS-00372: in a procedure, RETURN statement cannot contain an expression ORA-06550: line 6, column 1: PL/SQL: statement ignored)

    So I hope everyone can advice me how to do the single display element works.

    Thank you

    Hello

    This setting ("output of PL/SQL Code") requires you to display HTML - for example:

    BEGIN
    htp.p('Hello World');
    END;

    If you want your v_result look, use something like the above, - no RETURN statement is allowed, so just output using htp.p () - or to change the Type of Source "PL/SQL function body", which uses the RETURN statement (but only for one value), for example:

    DECLARE
     v VARCHAR2(10);
    BEGIN
     SELECT TO_CHAR(SYSDATE,'DD/MM/YYYY') INTO v FROM DUAL;
     RETURN v;
    END;

  • I'm trying to create a slideshow in Adobe Muse using anchor points, and I wonder if there is a way to create an effect of closure of an anchor to the next.

    I tried to create a slide show with animation of text in and out with each new slide in Adobe Muse. With the help of anchor points, so I created a manual slideshow, however, I wish it would be automatically loop. I don't know if it's possible, but you can do a loop of an anchor (and upwards)?

  • Text anchor point / alignment

    I have a form and a text;

    • Real text "sourceRectAtTime()" expression in the shape size, be equal size in pixels. It's not the size in pixels appearing in the box (nominal pixel size) Chacterer.
    • Need to keep the text at the top of the form aligned.
    • I have the assurance that text and shape properties were:
    • COMP = 1280 x 720
    • Text and shape:
    1. Achor Point [0,0]
    2. Position [640 360] (average size of Comp)

    • I was expecting to see the text on the shape, perfectly aligned.

    forum.PNG

    But the value of the anchor to the shape does not match the text.

    '0' for the text is = Middle width and low height.

    '0' for the shape is = width mid to mid height.

    Yes, I can drag text to the alignment of the form.

    Actually, the problem isn't height. No anchor point. But in the wide Position. Why, when I change the text, changes the situation there. Quick glance:

    forum2.PNG

    When I change the text with Anchor Point is correct, still in the Center, but the position became misaligned. The text leaves the position of the shape, going to the right.

    This should happen due to variations in the width of the letters, the "sourceRectAtTime()" expression is extremely sensitive to the letters. "

    When I drag it to the correct location looks like this:

    forum 3.PNG

    Except that I can't be slippery, I need everything for always, snaps. Even if I change the text.

    How to solve this problem?

    Update: Please, note that if I put some 'symbol', the largest in height it is also doubtful:

    forum 5.PNG

    Try this. For the size of the rectangle (works the same as you, I think):

    r = thisComp.layer("TEXT").sourceRectAtTime (time, false);

    (r.width, r.height)

    For the position of the text layer:

    L = thisComp.layer("Rectangle");

    Rect = L.sourceRectAtTime (time, false);

    hisPos = L.toComp ([rect.left+rect.width/2, rect.top + rect.height/2]);

    Rect = sourceRectAtTime (time, false);

    myPos = toComp ([rect.left+rect.width/2, rect.top + rect.height/2]);

    value - (myPos - hisPos)

  • You can connect two anchor points on a closed path?

    I'm trying to draw a line on one side of one form to another, but I want attached it to each path with anchor points and circulate not only in the illustration. Is this possible?  Is it possible for, say, add anchor points to paths that intersect and then remove the excess?

    Usually, when you add a anchor with the pen tool the next anchor point connects to a line (path) between the two. When I put the tool feather on one traced existing, it adds an anchor point to the path, but I don't know how to connect a line from there to another anchor point?square.jpg

    Like that, but actually connected to path with anchor points.

    Thank you

    Henri

    You can do however by drawing lines and with some effort, making it a compound path.

    BTW, the answer is no, you cannot do it, there is no way to do it in Illustrator.

  • Pen Tool/Anchor Point help

    I often draw/trace things by using the pen tool.  I start with an anchor (A) then click to make another (B), then I drag the first handle away from the anchor point to a Bezier curve.  The problem comes when I need to continue on the path to another anchor point (C) after the turn.  If I'm not moving the handle 'moved', then he distorts the continuous path to the next anchor (C).  What I did to remedy this frustration is switch to the direct Selection tool and then move the handle 'crept' over the previous anchor point (B).  Please tell me there is a more easy/fast way to do...

  • Need help to remove the small white lines between attached forms. Still visible even after aligning anchor points.

    Hey, I'm new here, so many apologies if the community has been asked this question several times before. I do a quick search, but couldn't find an answer to my problem anywhere. Would be very grateful for help.

    I'm quite a beginner with Illustrator, so this may be something embarrassing simple!

    But as the title says, I have a very frustrating problem, trying to create an image of polygon. I've been using the pen tool to make triangles, then join all my anchor points with the horiz/vertical align Center. Roads joined look good, until I have add color... Triangles have a very light white line on them, I have tried to delete the anti alias, which solves the problem, but then the triangles look pixelated. Even when you import into Photoshop the pale lines are visible, as well as when the file is merged or saved as a JPG file.

    I've seen some very impressive polygon art and forms look seamless when joined.

    Here is an example of the problem. Ideally, I'd like that forms merged without rough lines.

    See you soon! Any suggestion would be appreciated.

    BRI,

    I just read it again.

    align the center of horiz/vertical

    works on objects, rather than Anchor Points.

    You can have triangles which fail to assemble completely.

    Try this, smart guides are your friends:

    Starting with the last triangle (you can see the stacking order in the layers palette), click the path to find) and work your way upward as follows:

    1) click on the lower triangle with the selection tool.

    2) click on one of the neighbors, and move it to the bottom to be second in the stacking order, then move it a little far, then ClickDrag back by one of the Anchor Points to be aligned corresponding to the lower anchor (Smart Guides say anchor when you are there).

    (3) with the ClickDrag Direct selection tool other anchor Point to snap (you can drag a bit far and back until the Smart Guides say anchor);

    Who should ensure a full adjustment between the two less triangles

    4) continue until you are finished with the other triangles.

  • Vector glitch of anchor points with the transformation of the cs6 illustrator objects

    Vector anchor points glitch during the transformation of objects,

    It is if I create a square and turn it, let's say I have it increase by 200%, it creates additional anchor points in the square corners and also creates weird crenellated edges, when I hover over the square with the slider to show the edges, the line from the edge which shows blue is shifted in at the edge of the actual object reference (see attached img the orange object displays the quirky plan and the black object is supposed to be a) round square edged, but after that I turned (Shear 10 degrees) it apeared of curves in stairs)

    I already tried to launch updates and restart, but the issue continues to display.

    Thanks in advance for your help.
