  • OFT for the web: does not pop-up windows

    Hello (again)

    I have a question:

    Openscript tried to test my application (based oADF) and although he got of the pop up windows, everything works fine and registration.

    Now with the OFT for web, pop-up windows are not working (in recording mode, in the pop-up window, buttons do not work) and not registered!

    Is there something in the OFT for web settings I should change to have the same behavior as openscript?

    Thank you

    Michael.

    Michael

    Popup windows should work in OFT if they should you get an error message, the big question here is why worry! If its works well in OpenScript, why bother looking FOT, remember that OFT development is complete and he won't part of ATS in the near future.

    Adblock more {web link}

    and much more. Adblock Plus blocks all the annoying ads, and
    supports Web sites by blocking is not discrete (configurable) default ads.

  • A lot of pop-up windows and sticking in the browser behavior

    Have weird ads via safari and chrome. A lot of popup displays in any browser and also a few become clickable buttons disabled and typing becomes almost impossible through any program that uses the web. When you are not running any browser, everything works perfectly fine.

    Recently, my brother was received by an irritating contextual advertising on his Mac. I guided through the steps to remove, so I'll repeat it here.

    Pop-up ads are advertisements that open above or below the window of your browser, in another tab, or as a graphic element in the current window. Sometimes they refuse to leave the same when you try to close.

    If these ads appear, DO NOT give type of important information about your Apple ID, credit cards, etc. If an ad does not close, it's almost certainly a scam after your money.

    To get rid of adware, begin by closing pop-ups that are open. If a window pop up on your Mac includes a checkbox "don't show alerts more since this Web page", check the box before you close the pop-up window. If a window closes (like in the case of my brother) close Safari on

    your Mac.

    Restart the web browser on your Mac that you hold down the SHIFT key. This prevents the reopening Safari automatically all the windows.

    Then, choose Preferences from the Safari menu, and then follow these steps:

    • Click on the security icon, and select "Block pop-up windows" to stop certain types of pop-ups.
    • Check the settings of your homepage and search engine. Sometimes adware changes these settings.
    • Click the general icon and make sure the homepage field is empty or contains the Web site you want.
    • Click on the search icon and make sure that the setting of search engine displays your favorite search engine. In some versions of Safari, this parameter is in the general pane.

    If you still have problems, or just want to check your Mac occasionally for adware - download app in sandbox "Dr. Safetry" in the App Store. It's free for domestic use clean adware, in addition to malware including trojans.

  • When Firefox opens a pop-up window with a Web site, it comes up blank - what to do?

    It happened when I was on the site of Medicare, I think also when I tried to print an invoice in Amazon, and a Web site, I use all the time that I subscribe to-normally Firefox opens a new window with the information, but the window with the blue in the looking albums bar as I could get into a website to go , but it won't be the same white, let me do that - everything is non-functional. I tried enabling the pop-up windows, but that did not help. This has happened once before and I had to reset the whole thing, which has been a major concern. I really want to do so I hope someone can help!

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.

    I have to disable firewall to connect to the Internet. Also pop-up windows to make a dial-up connection, but we have a 2 connection wires to broadband?

    Help!

    Hi Barry,.

    MSE is not the cause.  I suspect two things.  One, some ports in the firewall must be enabled to access the internet (your ISP should be able to tell) or you use a wrong port which is not activated, while the is correct.

    Second, you set up like a dial instead of a connection to the local network through the router (which must also be configured and secured if there is no wireless capability), and then the LAN must be connected to the internet.  Essentially, your network configuration is incorrect and must be corrected.  As a general rule, all you need to do is contact your ISP technical support and if you walk through the process over the phone.

    That's how I would handle it because even the experts here is perhaps not able to determine the appropriate settings for your ISP gave your versions of Windows and brands of routers and modems (and everything that needs to be connected).  They lose your business if you can't connect, and they have people who simply as for a life - often 24/7 - they are generally useful and really good in this.

    If that doesn't work (and I bet than that), and so that I could take you through it here in general with more information about your hardware, OS, ISP and other, this is the wrong forum for this.  You start here: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/networking?page=1&tab=all&tm=1300700638376.  Near the top, select your operating system from the drop-down menu to access the appropriate forum for your system.  Then post here like you did here, but give them all the details (manufacturer, brand and model of computer, network equipment, your exact version of Windows, what browser you are using and your network configuration).

    Good luck

    This kind of behavior is very often due to antivirus.  You are using.  If its McAfee or Norton get rid of them completely.   There are others who are also incompatible.  Everything you try, make sure that the analysis of e-mail is disabled.   You can also try to repair the database and see if that helps (see www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/).  And see also www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3

  • pass the query id in the pop up window

    Hello

    I want to be able to pass the query id in the pop up window but do not know how to do it, would you please help me with this? -Thank you

    the code below (A) works very well with open the pop-up page detail but din't know how there an id in the details of the page.

    <!--A-->

    < script >

    function openWin()

    {

    Window.Open ("detail.cfm,", "_blank", "toolbar = yes, scrollbars = yes, resizable = yes, high = 500, left = 500, width = 400, height = 400");

    }

    < /script >

    < cfset foo = querynew ("id_int, aNo_var, Renew, Cancel') >

    < cfloop query = "getOrderHist" >

    < cfset queryaddrow (foo) >

    < cfset querysetcell (foo, 'id_int', getOrderHist.id_int) >

    < cfset querysetcell (foo, 'aNo_var', getOrderHist.aNo_var) >

    < cfset querysetcell (foo, 'Renew',' < a href = "javascript: void (0);" onclick = "openWin ()" > view < /a > ') >

    < / cfloop >

    <! - B - >

    I try to call the page directly such as below but got an error of "invalid character".

    < cfset foo = querynew ("id_int, aNo_var, Renew, Cancel') >

    < cfloop query = "getOrderHist" >

    < cfset queryaddrow (foo) >

    < cfset querysetcell (foo, 'id_int', getOrderHist.id_int) >

    < cfset querysetcell (foo, 'aNo_var', getOrderHist.aNo_var) >

    < cfset querysetcell (foo, 'Renew',' < a href = "javascript: void (0);" onclick = "window.open("detail.cfm?id=#id#","_blank"); > < /a > to renew '") >

    < / cfloop >

    you have a 'openWin' function, but then you try to add inline JS to do the same thing.  I suppose you're eventually loop over your query "foo" output these links to renew.  In this case, I just want to pass a URL or just the ID into the openWin function.  Much simpler than to try to add dynamic JS in a cell of the query.

    I am a bit confused why you are creating a new query, foo, if you already have the query getOrderHist that seems to have everything you need.

    function openWin (id) {}

    Window.Open ("detail.cfm? id =" + id, "_blank", "toolbar = yes, scrollbars = yes, resizable = yes, high = 500, left = 500, width = 400, height = 400");

    }

    ID: #getOrderHist.id_int #.

    aNo: #getOrderHist.aNo_var #.

  • Flash Player Pop settings window

    I just found the "Flash Player settings" on a live SWF. A small window pop up that appears when you right-click on a SWF online.

    Can someone tell me what this feature is available?
    Security?
    Cookies?
    Browser detection?

    There seems to be some controls to allow someone to access the functions on the user's computer. Storage, microphone, camera. Is this correct?

    The online documentation is a little vague about why he's there and he can really do. Or else I'm not enough Flash to understand what they describe advanced. (probably the last)

    But my client has discovered in a little slide show, which I have added to their site. I had never seen before, but I mainly work on a Mac and the usual alternative "right-clicking" (Ctrl-click) does not produce the small pop-up window. This seems to be a single PC.

    I don't think that they had never seen this function before either because what he their alarmed, and they want to know if I can switch off.

    Is this possible? If so, how? Maybe when he is going to be released?
    If this is not the case, can I say to ensure that it is harmless - if it is indeed harmless.

    The slide show was created using Flash 8 and published for Flash Player 7, with a 'Flash' model only HTML.

    Thank you.

    Looks like it is a 'feature' of the application.
    Thanks for the reply.

  • url inside a pop-up window

    How can I change the pop-up window for a LOV do not have the url in there.
    Thank you
    Doug

    I assume you mean LOV popup with a list of values to choose from. These links are coded to return the value to your item and close the window. You cannot change the feature real popup because it is wrapped in an inner packaging. However, following the same logic, you could do something similar to this:

    http://Apex.Oracle.com/pls/OTN/f?p=31517:221

    In this window, you can put everything you need to list here without links.

  • Opening of session of Sierra produced several pop-up windows

    Since the upgrade to Sierra a series of pop-up windows appears right after the desktop appears.  One is a settings dialog box "analysis of the PC" apparently linked to the Canon MX920 we use, even if the printer/Scanner sharing is disabled in system preferences.

    A second pop-up window is an error Java SDK chronic also appeared after the initial upgrade of El Capitan.  This popup is displayed regardless of the question of whether Java is updated to the latest rev, or once the Pref window disappears completely in the system preferences panel.

    The windows popup to third and following related to the parameters of the firewall for "openinfo" network connections, "openexec" and "openbase.  These popups appear even if the settings of the firewall have been set to 'Allow' or 'Block' inbound network traffic for each of them... and for "openbase" even once the OpenBase Pref Pane has been removed from the System Prefs.  In addition, they appear even after the firewall has been disabled.

    The next update of Sierra should address these errors as soon as POSSIBLE or we will return to Yosemite.

    Changing the settings of firewall to block all incoming connections eliminates the popups mentioned in the third paragraph above.

    The "Scan of the PC Settings" and the Java SDK error dialog boxes always appear after the successful logon.  Running MalwareBytes and ClamXav do not eliminate these pop-up windows.

    No, they are not, they are horrific scams and are not in any way recommended by Apple - what made you think they were?

  • Cannot print a pop-up or pop-under window

    .. When the popup is really helpful, as in "boarding!

    The popup was not a button 'print '. In addition, a right-click on the pop-up window is not a PRINT option, and not being a popup, there is no menu either.

    This is a serious omission by FF.

    You can use {Ctrl + P} to print in this type of situation.

    Regarding the absence of a menu item print from the context menu, Firefox has never had a. But there are a few extensions that add to this context menu item. I use this one:

    There is also this:
