  I'm new to the web client of DRM 11.1.2. When you import a hierarchy, a new Version is created. Even as the old functionality. The hierarchy associated with the new version is identified as "VersionName - Baseline" with a base type and an expired State. I tried to copy the Version and associated hierarchy to a new Version, but the status of the hierarchy and the type remains the same. I tried to merge to a new version - the same thing. So what don't understand me? I can not make changes to the hierarchy of the line base and expired status then, how can I change?

• Entry not allowed data in HFM to basic levels

  I created a new HFM application and all metadata successfully support.
  But at levels of base data forms do not allow for any input data.
  
  The only point where entry is allowed is at the intersection of [NONE] for all dimensions (on POV for accounts, entity, all custom 4), < entity currency > CDA to view dimension and [YEAR] value in period (which is in fact a monthly roll!). The default frequency for the scenario is for a YEAR.
  None of the months when taken into POV, allow data entry.
  
  All the world is facing this issue or can give the solution for this problem please

  What you need to do is to define the default frequency of senario and default frequency ICT as periodicals. Then you will be able to load data at the level of the month.

• Best way to get the EBITDA, calculated or hierarchy?

  I have a client who has a hierarchy of multi-level natural account that includes the core accounts and leads all the way to its Net income. However, they would like an account called EBITDA to be able to reference using smartview rules.
  
  What do you recommend is the best way to do this? I was looking for to use the natural hierarchy counts, but all their groups the way they want them already, I need to be able to have some sort of alternative account hierarchy (similar to a hierarchy of entities replacement), but I don't know if this is possible.
  
  I could use an account calculated, but it would be nice to be able to get the EBE without having to run a consolidation every time a change for companies of basic number, but it might be the easiest way to do it.

  Yes, quite possible to have a flow of the basic account upwards in any number of parents. You only download the account once. You would be reconsolidate as many times as necessary.

  You load Acct_A once and consolidate the hierarchy 1 and 2 to get the totals you want. If you want to slightly reduce the manual steps, you could give the two hierarchies shared parent so you can kick off a consolidation at the top.

• Level - Can Reporting someone please explain this attribute?

  All - I am a newbie on Siebel on demand but creating reports with other tools for years. I recently came across some reports that I inherited that constantly give us bad. These are basic reports that look at the number of calls, meetings, etc. for a given user. What we see is that we used this statement attribute level to filter, but according to the Manager of logging level in it cause problems. Some people cannot see the data, and some receive a massive amount of duplicated data.
  
  When all is said and done, we are looking for a simple list of Manager-rep of counts of these activities. After looking at the value of level reporitng it would look like an indicator of the relative position of the level lower in the reports - to the hierarchy. We will generally filter level = 0 (or maybe 1) reports more but what I want is a way to control based on the user. My requirement is to have the level they can see and retail at a level more low but I don't ' fully understand how that is created or how can I use system variables to determine the level of user control.
  
  Anyone who has the news of background on this page or how I can order a basic report anaylytic in more manageable to show my stuff and subtotals to a level more down which would be greatly appreciated.

  Not sure if I can help with the specific report, but I'll try more of light level Reporting.

  In a report which is flush with the dimension possessed by the user, you can find the Reporting level field. Each user belongs to a reporting hierarchy, derived from the "Reports To" value in their user profile.

  The best way to see it is to create a simple report with the Email of the user level reports and email Manager. This will show you the Manager at each level. You can use this to expose and filter on the complete management hierarchy.

  Level 0 = user. All users have a value of themselves as Manager at level 0.
  Level 1 = reports to-which reports directly to the user.
  Level 2 + = towards the top of the chain...

  You can take a look at some of the predefined reports to see how this can be used to create reports based team, as 'Team Pipeline Analysis', ' team sales analysis of efficiency "and"analysis of the Team activity. You can open all the pre-buiilt reports as well as the starting points.

  Basically level 6 runs before level 7, so if you have a module boot you have started before your applications, for example a 'library' that is used by your application program basic facilities, you can then use Layer 6 for your library and Layer 7 for your applications.  So all your applications may assume that the library began.

  Of course you could do the same thing yourself by searching for startup and other flags, so it makes it just a little easier.

  When I see a problem that really needs a better model of data, I wonder: ' how would I migrate data to a better model?

  Once I wrote the SQL code to migrate the data, the SQL to meet the requirement is simple.

  If you cannot migrate the code, just run the two SQL bits, one after the other.

  Hearing is not really adapted to the analysis of speech on a very basic level, I fear.   I came across a requirement where I need to automate analytical extraction extended depending on the revision level / status of the entities to be approved. Once the status of process management passed to approve pending level 3 status or they are under level 3 review, corresponding to 3-4 extracts will take place on different levels of data (can be basic level, parent, settings etc. for various scenarios). Another condition is that either method is built, it must run every hour to check the status of the process management and extract as a result, you should not extract if already excerpt in the last series (is that if the extraction was already performed in the last hour to RL3 and the entity is still in RL3 in the next hour It should not run the extract, if the RL3 passes to approved, the extract must be run.   I was able to do this using excel and HFM API. What I did to dynamically create a grid of management processes in excel dynamically refresh the data, check this data against the State previous level exam which gets dynamically copied from the old update, generate a list of entities located in RL3 / approved (change status) and then based on that generate snippets using the API of HFM. I was able to generate this in 11.1.2.3 and using libraries of corresponding API that supports the version of 11.1.2.1.

  If I take an incremental backup of level 0 of an entire database and then take a level 0 of an individual tablespace, an incremental backup of level 1 of this tablespace is refers to additional membership 0 the entire database or storage space? If I change the order of the level 0 backup, does it change the reference level of 1 storage space?
  
  I assumed that what I ask,'s done it level 1 differential reference the last level 0 regardless of whether it is the entire database or just the tablespace or a level 1 still reference it's own level 0?
  
  Also, if I take a level 0 of the data base Sunday night, then a level 1 of the database every night after that, as well as several levels 1 to a tablespace throughout each day, basic level of data Tuesday evening 1 will include all levels of tablespace to Monday 1?

  'Database' and 'Space' are logical groupings for our comfort.

  RMAN follows the data file level backups. Therefore, a backup of level 0 of a data file or a group of data files (storage space is a group of data files) using the most recent backup of this data file / group replacing a previous level 1 of the same data file backup / group.

  You could take the backups at level 0 of the database weekly and select level or level 1 backups of some files of data every day (e.g. datafiles 1 to 10 on Monday, 11 to 20 on Tuesday...) and Oracle will follow backups of data files.
  When you perform a BACKUP or a RESTORE to a tablespace, data files are backed up at different times, Oracle restores the correct image to each data file and apply the recovery using the ArchiveLogs.
  (Don't forget: even if you have a tablespace of only 2 data files and you backups tablespace, 2 data files can have different start times for their backups if you have 1 by backupset datafile!)

• A beginner... need for basic assistance

  I see that my camera Sony's AVCHD a 'private' of the file yields that, once seen from within Premiere Pro or prelude of yields. MTS files which can then be swallowed. So far so good.

  My question is help on the most basic level, to help me get started with Prelude. All I want to do is to get a glimpse of these files in the prelude. They keyboard shortcut to place point doesn't seem to be a simple 'I' or 'o' as it is as a prelude - is this true? I'm having trouble getting this simple step to work. Then, I would like to make subclips and I see the number key 1 is the marker for the beginning of a sub-clup, but what is the marker for the out point of a subclip? The interface is nice and this could be an excellent software to learn, but this is easier to do in Premiere Pro and just eliminate the need for Prelude?

  Maybe I need a video tutorial, but also, perhaps the questions I ask here are too basic for a tutorial.

  Can someone please help me with just these questions early so I can see the value in using prelude?

  Ken > prelude allow you to ingest your assets (either via Basic linking, copying or transcoding), batch rename them it's make and apply a system of metadata personalized for them. You can't do these things first. In addition, the development of interface on logging, which makes this task easier.

  And out of the points only have meaning in the capture Panel, where you can specify an in or an exit if you do not want the whole media to be ingested. The shortcuts are indeed I and O. You do not change anything that happened first edit as a prelude, so to point on media ingested is not really logical, use subelements markers instead. I and O in prelude is used to set these points and exit markers.

  I created a hierarchy (parent-child) on a dimension "A". I am able to create a dashboard for the dimension hierarchy. However I'm not sure how to create a report that must be filtered on this line of dashboard. I tried to use the attribute that uses the hierarchy name, but who doesn't. Can you get it someone please let me know how can I filter a report by a suggestion of dimension hierarchy.

  Hi Nikita,

  For your condition, you must go to component selection steps in the analysis (report). Click on the link as follows, and then add the column hierarchy that you want to use and expand the hierarchy to the level low. Now select all these and all attributes, now appears on the other side.

  If you do not expand the hierarchy to the lowest level, then only the higher level values will appear in your selection at the prompt.

  Also be sure to check the box "substitution" in the background, this helps to filter the values.
