Hinge to separate printer

When you move to a new address, the lower hinge of the left hinge (access to cartridges) separated on all-in-one printer, HP Officejet J5780. It worked perfectly well for several years until the move. Now, I kicked hard covers to print, scan, copy, etc. hinge seems broken, but I can't get the rear jam together. Does anyone know how to reattach this hinge? Thank you, [personal information]

If the hinge is broken, then most likely the small metal pin that cemented the hinge broke come /.  We could try to shape the back above the printer in a creative way, but I recommend the replacement of the product.  If the printer cover is broken, then most likely the cover will get to a point that the sensors will not be closed.  This will cause an error to open the door to be present in all the time, so stop printing functionality.

Be sure to call the HP Technical Support upgrade program where you can get a refurbished model printer more recent, with a full factory warranty, at a discount from retail.  I hope this helps.

This isn't a question, it's more of a statement of a problem of preview before printing in Firefox 4.01 and 3.6.

In other words, min-height is applied to new, even if the element which is already higher than this minimum height.

  • HP 6600: Print in black only

HP 6600 all the cartridges are in and only yellow is everything. I don't see that not setting a black than gray. That means I have no other choice but to and get a new color cartridges. Frustrating thinking I could still at least print in black only.

    Hey there @Nasher09!

Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

You will need to pick up another yellow cartridge.  Your printer uses a separate print head.  The print head is what sprays ink on the page.  You must have all of the cartridges installed and complete in order to print.  The 6600 Officejet uses all the same print black and white cartridges.  Without full cartridges print head will become damaged or dry.  There are some printers as the 4500 ENVY and Officejet 4730 using a 2 cartridge system.  These cartridges have integrated print heads.  These printers works in a single mode of cartridge and print black ink only, but your system printer 4 ink will not.

Thanks again for posting and enjoy the rest of your day!

  • Can I print with only black print cartridge (color those missing)?

Hello everyone and happy new year.

Due to the fact that I have does not print in color, I decided to give my old and empty color cartridges for recycling

the store where I buy them since then, and I bought only the black one (the double).

I want to talk about 364 cartridges, I have a HP Photosmart B110a.

The thing is that I get the message on the printer screen saying that the color cartridges are missing

and even though I have the black one installed and I chose to print something only in black ink

    It cannot print anything.

Y at - it a particular setting that I have to do, or it is a fact that I can not only print text, even if I chose

the black cartridge? Each of the four ink cartridge must be installed to print only the text?

    Thank you in advance.

The Photosmart b110a a ink cartrdiges individual and a separate print head.  To keep the print head don't dry out, you need to have all of the cartridges installed.

Here it describes how the ink is used in inkjet printers.  In the terminology of this document the b110a is an IIC printer.

  • HP Deskjet 812c - CMY new cartridge (HP 23) - yellow does not print (but it is)

Yes, I know... it is a dinasour printer but it has been a workhorse for me since I bought it when it first came out (1998!). I use it often, but she remained loyal.  Judged non HP cartridges, but they are not as good, so PLOPPED down the money for a cartridge HP 23 CMY legitimate again.  Expiration date: December 2013.

I can see the streaks of ink for all 3 colors on the head of nozzle/so that means there are in there, and all the rest print - C M and K, but not of Y. I tried some old cartridges that I forgot to recycle in the hope that I could get some of them out of one of them though but weak , but that no longer works.

I also tried to print from more than one program and Windows 7 generic print test page in the case where there are a few color program setting somewhere that was the cause.  Banned, same result overall. I swab clean the nozzle/head, lined up, even began.  Always without Y.

I wonder itf it's a question of management of system colors, although if there are streaks on copper head of the 23 HP where it meets the surface of the paper, it seems to be working, just do not hit the paper.  Electric prods on the printer which meets the back of the eye of the cartridge clean too.

Maybe it's a cosmic hint to get a new printer, but I live on a fixed income from social security and every penny counts. I paid too just for a new cartridge.

    Suggestions, hosted solutions.
    Thank you.

  • Printer Dell 966 AOI

I have a dell 966 AOI while a wireless printer. I can only operate by connecting using the supplied cable. I use windows xp professional and the linksys g usb adapter. I have no installation cd. The office that I use is connected to the network wireless in my house. I downloaded the drivers sometime ago but do not know if I downloaded the wireless which is necessary if there is a.

    Thank you

    Jim

The first question is whether you have the option Ethernet adapter / Dell 966 internal wireless.  Do you have?  Here is a picture of the card installed with its wifi antenna and an Ethernet Jack:

As near as I can tell, there is that one the Photo all-in-One Printer 966 driver and it includes everything that is needed for the wireless adapter.

    He is the driver: http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/DriverDetails/Product/dell-966w?driverId=R165317&osCode=WW1&fileId=2731117980
    Installation instructions are here: https://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/prn966/en/UG/HTML/d0e10034.html

After you have installed and works, you'll probably want to install the update of the firmware of the adapter without thread here: http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/DriverDetails/Product/dell-966w?driverId=R166763&osCode=WW1&fileId=2731118209

However, if your printer comes with (or purchased) an adapter for Dell Wireless 3300 separate printer, see the following page (you need driver & firmware for the 3300 to work with your 966): http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/kcs/document?c=us&cs=19&docid=117408&doclang=en&l=en&s=dhs and this page http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/kcs/document?c=us&cs=19&docid=125396&doclang=en&l=en&s=dhs

  • Problems installing of printer in the Windows XP compatibility box

I am trying to use my printer Canon MX870 Windows XP compatibility mode. In the compatibility window is my computer has no printer, and apparently no USB ports don't either.

When I try to print from a program that is running in compatibility mode, I get an error box that says: no printer driver is installed.

I found an MS article that says I should choose the Windows XP desktop tools > parameters command and check the printer in the menu of the integration features. I tried and found that printer is already checked.

I tried to install a separate printer driver compatibility window and had no luck there either. The "Add a printer" Wizard has informed me that there is no plug-and-play printer connected to the computer. When I tried to install the printer manually, I found that none of my USB ports have been listed as locations.

My computer has eight USB ports, an RS-232 port and a parallel port. The Wizard indicates that it is three parallel ports, 4 serial ports and seven ports 'TS' appointed TS001, TS002, etc., of which the last is "inactive".

I don't know how to make the link between these imaginary ports of Windows XP for real hardware in my computer. (If I did, I would still need to know which one to use. I know, but Windows is supposed to automatically allocate the names of devices on the USB ports that is appropriate, in view of these problems, I am not prepared to assume that it will be).

How can I handle this? All this seems to be a mess.

    Hello

To work around the problem, try the following steps if you have this driver on the XP Mode desktop file.

    a. click Start, click Control Panel , and search for printers , and then double-click Printers.
    b. now, click Add Printer.
    c. Select Add a local printer and click create a new port.
    d. Select Local Port and click Next.
    e. type in "[\\computer name\printer name]"(sans les guillemets) for the Port name and click OK. ""
    f. follow the instructions to complete the installation. During the installation, when you are prompted to choose a good driver; Click the "disk".
    g. navigate to the driver file you have on the desktop XP mode, then click OK. Now, check if the printer is correctly installed.

You can even provide the driver through a disk file if you do not have internet access to download the file via the XP mode.

  • print to printer noprint (1 copy) - how to set the number of copies by default

    Hello.

I need specific concurrent programs to be automatically printed, so the number of copies that specific programmes should be on 1 as a default value.

Which is adjustable at the level of the simultaneous program (only for the particular simultaneous program)? I can select separate printer for the specific program, but not the number of copies.

The only way I've found is to "create concurrent Copies: report" property to 1 in the site-level profiles system.
But that means will have also all noprint printers number of copies set to 1.

Can there be problems NOPRINT: unknown printer error ?
    Is there another way?

    Thank you

  • "Enable protected at Startup Mode" to stop printing on RightFax

I use a printer to print on RightFax.  It uses a separate print processor to direct the output to the printer on the Client RightFax.  As long as I use RFPrint.dll to print processor, AdobeReader 11.1 will not work with a printer using the custom print processor.  The only way around this is to uncheck "Enable protected at Startup Mode".  Is there a way to tell Adobe reader that this printer or the print processor is allowed to print?

  • Fusion 3 - printing to Adobe PDF 8.0 error (Distiller) on host Mac

Windows 7 VM on MacBook Pro4, 1, 4 GB of RAM, Mac OS X 10.6.1.

Attempts to print from Windows on Acrobat 8 (Distiller) as a network printer on the Mac failed with the error message (in the queue), "error: / usr/libexec/cups/filter/thnucups failed." However, printing to a physical printer (lj1220) connected via the time capsule works.

    Can anyone offer a solution?

I tried printing from other applications (such as TextEdit) to the Adobe PDF printer, and it does not work either. It works in some way for you?

Apparently, Adobe no longer supports the stand-alone PDF printer on 10.6, please see the following TechNote:

Acrobat 9 "Save as Adobe PDF" supported in Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6)

The "security devices" they mention are probably the same ones that require workarounds to get CUPS-PDF for work.

Unfortunately, as the feature "Save as Adobe PDF" update is not a separate printer, it won't be visible to ThinPrint, and it is not possible to print to this virtual machines (just as it is not possible to share and print on a network).

  • print specific pages?

I have a 60 page document or more (different shapes, packages, etc.)

Is it posible to add a checkbox to print specific pages?

For example, add a checkbox to a package "a".

Add a checkbox control to the 'c' package and print only "a and c"?

BTW I use acrobat x pro

    Thank you!

You can use JavaScript to print a range of pages, but to print two different zones, you should use two separate printing instructions. Here is a link to the documentation: http://livedocs.adobe.com/acrobat_sdk/9.1/Acrobat9_1_HTMLHelp/JS_API_AcroJS.88.511.html

Keep in mind that the page numbers are zero DSO, so that the first page is 0, and the tenth is 9, etc.

Your script can check which check boxes are selected and issue a statement print for the range of pages. You can create a button, perhaps titled "print pages" and include the script in the mouse event to the top of the button.

I know that I was just using a, b and c as placeholders for objects. I say /had/ to write my code with 3 separate Print orders. How can I get each new string on the same line?

As noted your example produces no output you suggested.

IF you use printing, and the output is on different lines, this means that the objects, not of print(), is the source of multiple lines.

In this case, your options are
1 modify the objects to remove the end of line of code.
2 consume objects as strings and delete the end of characters in the line of these chains, then print the result.

Specifically, an easy way to remove breaks at the end of the strings is 'trim()' of the String class method. It will remove the spaces and the newlines from the beginning and the end of a string.

  • C5280 All-in-One

It is a very simple question.  Is it possible to turn off "headers and footers" permanently on this printer?  On my old HP printer I could do it, but with this news, I have to do for every separate print.

Headers and footers are provided by the program you are printing from, not by the printer driver.  What application you use to print?
