Hello

They respond to? As much as I know the Toshiba does not directly e-mails. If someone has a hardware problem, then you will need to contact the ASP in your country.
It is a usual way to account for certain issues or hardware issues with Notepad.
So I wonder not if you get no answer

With regard to the spontaneous tone.
Well, it's really not easy to say what causes this without any detailed mobile controls.
Second it looks like that it of not easy to reproduce this beep. Thus, the investigation could be more difficult.

  • Satellite M30X - high use of the hard drive

Once the connection in Windows XP (SP2), my computer toshiba laptop is very slow. The hard drive light is permanently on during 5 minutes. I looked in the Task Manager, but the CPU usage is low and RAM usage is low. There is no program which seems to use a lot of CPU or RAM.

I actually disabled the pagefile to see if problems due to intensive use of the paging to the HARD disk file, but the problem persists. The laptop model is Satellite M30X-113.
I don't know if it's related, but this problem is posed at the time that I have subscribed to a 256 MB RAM module and installed a 512 MB (making the total RAM 1024 MB).

Did you buy compatible RAM module recommended by Toshiba (high quality product) or some piece of cheap hardware?

By the way: have you also tried to wipe the HARD drive using the cleaning disc or as option Defragmenter?

  • I hear the ticking in the hard drive, but diagnostic tool (S.M.A.R.T) says his health.

Pavilion p6010in Desktop for 3 years using (product number: NC875AA #ACJ), for a few months, I hear the ticking in my hard drive, I suspect that it is its failure of hard drive, but my diagnostic tool (SMART) explains his good health.

Sound indicates a problem. I also use Ubuntu 12.04 with vista (even ubuntu says that the disc is in good health).

I'm confused why the sound is similar to a click of death as seen in the link (my hard drive Seagate Barracuda 500 GB) below

Seagate desktop with heads of default drive get stolen, then clicking sound.

Please tell me what I should do now. I also Plan to upgrade to Windows 8 (I won't use Ubuntu anymore).

I suggest you replace your hard drive before the upgrade to avoid all these problems. The new hard drive should be the same size or larger that one you have for the recovery discs to work properly. Install Windows 8 on the new hard drive.

Once Windows 8 has been installed successfully make a new set of recovery disc for Windows 8 so that if everything fails, you can the recovery disc restores on Windows 8.

  • Publish on the hard drive is no longer writes XMP files?

To save my raw files and metadata XMP to my NAS, I have a hard drive configuration Service post and pointed toward the mounted directory. He was works perfectly (writing of CR2 files with XMP), but from the most recent update (v3.4.1), it seems that LR3 is no longer writes XMP sidecar files when I publish on the hard disk through this service. I haven't changed anything on the service configuration, and I can't find any useful options in the service settings.

This change for someone else? Why would he suddenly no longer export the XMP files with my raw CR2 files? Other than me having to manually copy the files from my cataloge, nobody knows how to fix this so I can get my simple drag & drop publication backup back?

    Thanks for any help,

    Mike

    Mike,

Sorry, I guess I copied the wrong link in my answer for filing a bug report. It should have been this one.

In the meantime, I've created this bug report for this issue.

  • T430s - height of the hard drive Bay

I have a Corsair Force 3 SSD http://www.corsair.com/en/ssd/force-series-3-ssd/force-series-3-notebook-upgrade-kit-240gb-sata-3-6g... who doesn't want to adapt. It is very close, but is scraping along the inside edge near the narrow end of the laptop, and without using much more force, he doesn't want to adapt. By specifications, is with a height of 7mm SSD... he should not go up?

Takes a compass at her, and she > 9mm, not even close of 7.

Well * beep *... which was probably easier than registering for the forum.

  • Copy files to the hard drive too long?

I have a Sandisk 32 gb pendrive. I changed the type of file in NTFS to FAT32. But when I copy any file (particularly large in size, for example, 1.5 GB) it takes too long to copy. Happens on all computers regardless of the operating system (xp, 7, 8). I tried Teracopy but no improvement. How can I speed up my copy to my USB?

You can not, the speed is based on the USB itself.  You can buy a faster USB key, but that's all.

  • upgrade the HARD drive in v3 - 571 G: what is the maximum height (in mm)?

And: do I need extra / other connections for a SATA-600 HARD disk?

    Hello

The height of the original RESEARCH is 7 or 9.5 or 12.5 mm.

SATA III is backward compatible with SATA II.

"The new standard uses the same cables and is fully compatible with devices and connectors more aged."

  • Why I am no longer able to connect to one of my external hard drives.

I have two drives, one is Maxtor & the other is Hitachi, nor now communicates with the PC, please advise.

Fortunately, I discovered the solution to the problem now, apparently the USB cable I was using had somehow developed a fault and then was replaced and the problem is no longer.  This observation may help other users.

    Thank you.

  • Questions after the hard drive recovery. No longer can run backups or disk defragmentation.

This weekend I had a problem with my C: drive. It is in the format of RAID and replace one of the disks. However, I had some problems during reboot and had to use the installation disk to recover. I finally returned the operational system and thought that I have not lost all system data. However, my task scheduler has lost all scheduled tasks, I is no longer perform planned "backup files" in the center of backup and restore and when I force a backup in the backup and Restore Center I have a "the system cannot find the file specified 0 x 80070002. Also, I can not throw the Defrager disc from the control panel of the System Maintenance - only through the command line. Plan a daily Defrag. A file must be corrupted somewhere. How can I fix without having to reinstall completely all of this?

Because it seems to be no good answer to the problem, I decided to reinstall Vista

  • Reserectes from long deleted files from the hard drive Windows 7 Pro.

Long very old files deleted, appear in My Document (files not necessarily the original). Repeatedly remove them, using a shredder program, they always appear. I wonder if the problem will be resolved to a clean install.

Programs may not be transferred.  They must be installed again from your record source or internet downloads.

Data can be transferred to a new system.  The best way to do this is to copy the data from your drive to be replaced (assuming that he still works) on a disk hard external - that's what you should be backup anyway - then, after your system is rebuilt, you can transfer data from this external storage on the disk.

  • Satellite L500-22R - high slope noise from the HARD drive

    Hello

Since a few days ago can hear an eek/whistle from my L500-22R HARD disk, which remains permanently.
I think to change the HARD drive?

    Thaks for your support.

It looks like it could start to run out.
I would like to replace the HARD drive or upgrading to an SSD.

  • Can no longer open the hard drive

    Hello

I used my external hdd to 4 TB (connected to USB 3.0 to copy data through the CCC on another external hard drive.

Somewhere in the Middle he stopped.

When I try to open the 4 to (by clicking on it) the finder crashes - every time.

I put inside my MP 4 TB hard drive, but the same thing happens. The continuous finder crashing, all the desktop icons disappear and this crash notice window: the last time that you open the Finder it quit unexpectedly...

    and it keeps.

I can access the hard drive via the CCC and copy data from other disks. But there is 3.92 TB of data and I have to first find the space.

In the initialization of the PC world, I would say that the Master Boot Record is damaged. But I don't know what it is on a hard drive to the Mac Format.

Have you tried to run the concerned disk disk utility?

  • Pavilion 17-F001dx: 'Windows 8 using 100% of the HARD drives with high average response time and low write speed '.

It turns out that it is a pretty known issue windows 8.1 users infestation since at least 2013 and there is not a simple fix, then it cannot be * completely * lack of hp. but I've had two of these laptops, both the same model, one needing to be returned and exchanged for a problem absolutely no report with (hardware failure: ethernet port does not work with lights taped). Both are renovated. Both have been extreemly slow and unresponsive even compared to the lower Brazos powered by the laptop that I had before, but I recently decided to investigate why.

So if there is something specific HP going on here, I hope that there is a simple fix. My average response time went upward as well more than a minute (> 60, 000ms), so that I'm an aberrant case here against this problem of reactivity/band bandwidth hardrive typical windows 8.1.

Edit: there is a case with another HP pavilion laptop (intel powered, so there may be a problem of storage driver intel described in the first link) being much worse.

Did not want to resort to that, but,.
Going to a new facility to clean up an image of Windows Pro 8.1 from DreamSpark for my school.

Disappointed by the lack of response. Given the odd subdomain name (h30434), I'm wondering if this forum has been abandoned.

  • Installation to Pre-service Pack version of win xp on the hard drives of high capacity

Hello! I have a version of win xp professional - it's the version before he had services packs! I want to install a new HD 1 TB as disk 0 and want to put my xp pro on it, however, the large capacity disks (more than 137MB if memory serves) are not supported by versions of xp before service pack 2. How can I format my new HD and install xp pro and still have the capacity to 1 TB? The HD I replace a service pack 3 on it. Is it possible that I can transfer the pro/sp3 of xp on the new HD or is there some files that I can wear over my installation of xp pro/sp3? Thanks for your help!
