  There is no minimum version required. Any version of view Horizon will support end users, so there is a customer support for her.

  I'm working on a project with the above and I do not know how to configure the login for authentication RADIUS server when you use Entrust partners and e-grid. What is the correct configuration to enable the server Entrust provide rack strings that are then used to select three additional characters of the e-gate card and then added to the PIN, used by the connected user.

  As far as I KNOW, Entrust e-grid is not one of the RADIUS vendors, we have worked with when this RADIUS function has been added. In my VMware View RADIUS Authentication Configuration 5.1 article I list sellers who know the solutions to work with views. Many other providers will also work with view.

  I could be wrong, but I think the problem here is that there are no way to notice (currently) to ask the user for the places on the grid that they must use to enter the values of the grid to the text entry screen. It could be that this part is made in a Challenge to access RADIUS and it could be a question to display the message in the Challenge of access to the user. It would be necessary for the user to enter the values of the grid in the challenge entry field to complete the authentication process. Without this level of integration, it cannot work.

  You can create several floating pools with an office in each, so you can get the same functionality.

• ESXi 6 Horizon 6 VDGA AMD

  I have a problem. I'm trying to get an AMD W7000 works with vmware view horizon 6 VDGA in mode.

  The operating system is Win 7 x 64, also I tried 8.1 Win x 64, still no luck. I have passed through the card on the virtual machine.

  AMD GPU:s are not currently supported with vDGA, it is however supported by vSGA if you can try that instead.

• View horizon 5.3 - grid K2 - vDGA - vCenter console does not

  With the 5.3 version vDGA is now officially supported. It is very good when it works!

  I am running 4 VM, each with its own dedicated K2 GPU. Reports of the administrator view 4 desktops to work and I can't connect to each desktop.

  The problem is that just now, I had the Windows Update running on each machine and after installing .NET 4.5 Friday, Microsoft's got 200 MB + with patches for me.

  The problem is that I cannot use the console in vCenter to access the virtual machine. The machines work fine, but they seem to be suspended during Windows startup.

  

  The image comes from the exact same machine, just two ways of looking at things.

  I guess the console tries to access the output of the SVGA driver, but since K2 is started, the display, nothing is presented to the console.

  Any suggestions here?

  anyway. When you refresh or recompose a machine, a user must first be disconnected, after that the machine can be recomposed, it's works the view.

  If, for some reason, an appstack or an accessible volume in writing is still attached to a machine, if you crop or refresh the appstacks and writable volumes will be spare once the machine has been reconfiguring.

  If you remove the device after use and the appstack and accessible volume in writing is still attached, writable volume will be deleted (because it is read/write) and appstack will be detached simply because it is read-only.

• Grid settings and vDGA K2

  We have a demo environment with view Horizon 6.0.1 2 ESxi hosts and one with K1 and K2 of the grid grid.

• Help with renovation Horizon View client for Mac

  I'm packaging the client VMware View Horizon for our Mac desktops and laptops (we have about 150). Normally, it is a very simple and very easy process with this client because it is just a soft. We use Apple PackageMaker to repackage the Horizon of VMware View Client.appand add the plist for the test user for the deployment of future users profiles. We used some com.vmware.view.plist in the past to ensure that our connection to the server is prefilled and force PCoIP. It has worked great for us with all < 2.3 versions.

  From 2.3 and 3.0 now, I have not been able to repackage the application correctly. I have download the .dmg to VMware and copy the .app in it in / applications; This is exactly how a user would install it on their system. I run the Client discovers once and connect to our login server using the settings I want to paste when you deploy this application to our machines. Then using PackageMaker, I point the first part of the package that will be created for Applications/Vmware view Horizon Client.app as usual (including the roots). It's normal. I choose com.vmware.view.plist file, and I'm using a plist Editor, delete the entry for my test user name and office that I'm connected to. In PackageMaker, the destination of this .plist file is in the default profile for the mac - so whenever a new user connects to the mac, they will receive the file .plist with the parameters we want. Sounds good. The package is built successfully. I deploy it on a machine to test successfully.

  When I connect on a test system and run the client from the view, I can connect properly. If I try to use the menu connection/printing enabled, all hell breaks loose and I get a series of errors;

  Invalid file in the package.

  The file is not valid:

  / Applications/VMware Horizon view Client.app/Contents/Library/thnuclnt/thnusetup.sh.

  If I try to start services remotely USB, I get a similar error once it issues a warning that I will be asked to enter the credentials of the admin;

  OK, I just had to put the question so that I could think clearly through it.

  There are some extended attributes on these shell scripts that PackageMaker removes when it reconditions the app. I conditioned as a .dmg, and copy the app via the postinstall script in the pkg... works very well after that.

• vDGA support with HP NVIDIA K4000 passthrough

  I try to use vDGA in a DL380gen8 HP Proliant and HP NVIDIA K4000 video card. When it works, I'll use this configuration to the clients of the Horizon of the view. But when I create a virtual computer and add the PCI device that is available after the passtrough configuration is complete I get the following error when starting the virtual machine:

  Great news, thanks for posting back!

  It's your only option, it is not possible to share the K4000 between virtual machines, no Quadro 4000 (and GRID k1/k2) kepler is possible to use with vSGA (shared graphics card), but it's not full passthrough.

• Drops of WiFi at the horizon stream

  Hi guys,.

  Since I discovered that I could watch tv on my laptop via horizon tv (my internet service provider, Ziggo tv streaming service), I use it. I listen to in safari via a Web page. Safari is updated.

  But, when streaming and working on something else (another Web page, look at a picture with preview, or work with adobe [illustrator or photoshop are the worst]) guard down my WiFI. The symbol of wifi in the right corner just "cast" (so no connection to WiFi networks, not whether bars). It takes a few seconds and then it reconnects again, only to fail again after half a minute or so.

  As you can imagine, it's very, very, very frustrating.

  I have swapped the switches and wireless access points, changed the WiFi preferences (channel and others, checked with the diagnosis of wifi to find the best channel etc.) and I tried other networks within my main network at home (we have a total of 2 wireless access points on the top of our main router because it cannot reach the whole House). Nothing seems to work. The cisco wireless access points, switches are ubee modem and netgear. The main router is looking for a (rather daunting) Netgear.

  My wifi access point is connected to a 100mbit switch that is directly connected to the main router, which is connected directly to the modem.

  But, since the rest of my devices seem works fine when I hear something, I think it has something to do with my laptop.

  Which is frustrating, because it is relatively new and a major update since my last macbook.

• Horizon of the UPC does not work on Windows 7

  I opted for horizon wifi and my laptop with Windows 7 saves only a few seconds and then left. Previous modem worked well.

  All other devices in the end work from home just seems to be a laptop.
  I've updated all the drivers etc and no improvement.

  UPC seem to think it's a question of laptop and not their problem, they said something on the horizon, was not compatible with Windows 7.

  Is this true?

  I use the Client VMWare Horizon (version 3.5.2) to connect to business desktops VDI.  I have a number of questions.

  -VDI desktop consumes all connected screens, either 1, 2 or 3 screens.  I find no way to assign the VDI Office to a single workspace or monitor.  I use the Macbook screen, a connected HDMI monitor and a connected via a bolt of lightning to the DVI adapter.

  -The customer seems to disconnect when the Macbook goes to sleep.  But it is not always log out properly.  More than once I have been unable to restart the desktop computer without the intervention of my sys admin

  Finally, and this isn't a VDI issue per se, when I connect my Macbook to the company via Ethernet or wireless network, I'm just flat impossible to print only printers on the network of the company.  The Mac is not joined to the domain, is unable to see all printers, and I roll the printer add by hand.  I am able to define a printer by IP address or FULL domain name, but all attempts always results in the printer print code Postscript and not the print job.  This is the enterprise-class printers Ricoh.

  I found the New Horizon customers are less than optimal.  I returned back all the way to the customer display, as a preference, because it seems to stay connected more, better and with less issues, plus the customer of the Horizon. Currently using the client to view v1.6... Fortunately.

  Printers - I put all my users up on top of the basic intellectual property. Very few questions.  Users/Macs are members of a domain and are associated with the hard cable, but do not use the MS Print servers. In one or two cases, I used Hello for some high-end HP or printers Ricoh.

• Horizon 2 27 - swf embedded in the swf plays not

  I joined a swf file into a swf file on my computer Lenovo M93p ThinkCentre desktop. When I open it on the desktop, it works fine, but when I open it on my Lenovo Horizon 2 27 will not play the embedded file.

  It turns out that I have Miss just something - the resources folder containing the embedded swf file.

  When I tranfered that more of the Tablet, it works beautifully.
