  You can stop some programs from loading when the system starts by disabling startup items in the Configuration of the system. Follow the steps mentioned below to open the system configuration.

  a. Click Start and then click Run.

  b. click on the Startup tab and uncheck the program you want to load during startup.

  c. click on apply and then OK.

  d. it will disable the programs loading at startup.

  You can also right click and remove programs from the startup list which is present in all programs. Follow the steps mentioned below.

  Whenever I connect or go to another page, the page is in place and in a few seconds, the page down to the bottom of the page. Sometimes when I move from one page to another, for a several page address or when I change to another address. • How can I stop the page to reload automatically when I hit the back button?

  A few months back, I upgraded to a new laptop, and since then, when I hit the back button, it refreshes the previous page from what I can understand. On my last laptop, if I was doing some research on a site and click the previous button, the search bar would be automatically ready to hit the BACKSPACE and delete what is there for a new search.   I updated from XP to Windows 7. When I try to save a pdf file in my folder of pdf files seem to go in my pdf file, but they find themselves in a virtual folder. I had no problem with XP or Vista. Is there a way I can stop the file in the virtual folder.

  A member of my family recently install some freeware on my computer and now I have a question where it is basically hijacked my browser. For the most part, I have fixed all the problems except one: when ever my browser starts, it attempts to load an external file, which I've deleted for obvious reasons (in fact the whole directory there in), that redirect to a search engine, it is no longer occurs because the file has been deleted. I don't have any success for any part of the path to the file in the subject: config so I guess that it is clean. I copied a profile from a computer completely different to ensure it is not garbage in there. Finally, I already ran an anti-virus scan and two cleaning of Adware programs. Regardless of the boot settings, I always start up a "cannot open file:///C:/ProgramData/Bamcofs/snp.sc"which overall does not seem to be a problem, but it is rather annoying.

  PS I rather not have to reinstall unless it is absolutely necessary.

  You can check the target line in the shortcut to the Firefox desktop (right click: properties) to make sure that nothing is added after the path to the Firefox program.

  2. This pref removes the tab bar when there is only one tab open. With two or more tabs Firefox should always show the tab bar. Unless you are referring to a preference added to Firefox by an add-on.
