I have an iPad 2 and explored a generation IPad 4th instead of one of the most recent Air.  The thinner air worries me a little after reading the reviews on the problems of vibration, but at the same time, I don't want to get something that will be essentially unusable in a year. I mainly use my iPad for navigation, email, youtube, netflix, and some older games. I have my laptop for heavy lifting.  All thoughts and opinions will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

  Forget an iPad 4.

  They came out the same year as the iPad 3 and a 4 year old machine, may be rendered obsolete earlier than the most recent models of iPad.

  Get the new iPad 2 air or if you want stronger, better sound quality for music and movies, consider the iPad 9.7 inch Pro.

  I have an ipad 2.  When I check itunes, I see that a backup has just been made in icloud.  However, when I check icloud, I don't see any file called "backup of the ipad.  So, where is this icloud ipad backup?  My software is up to date on my Mac with itunes, and I'm in ios 9 on my ipad.

  You cannot connect you to iCloud and see a file or any content of the backup. On your iPad or any other iOS device using the same Apple ID iCloud, you can go to settings > iCloud > storage > Storage manage and tap the device name to view the date and the size of the backup.

  IF you mean you want to download them on iCloud.com, you can go to the albums > all the photos where you can quickly select multiple photos and upload them. I don't pretend do that you it in batches but rather than try it all at once.

  It may work but it will load very slowly. IPad 4 provided with a 12-Watt charger.
