  I'm not sure if Win7 will come back to the parallel cable. Is there a reason any your using the parallel cable instead of USB? This printer driver is included in Windows 7, but AFAIK you must use a USB cable.   you are right, the installation is 32 and 64, but is 32.  By activating the VT in the BIOS, you will be able to run the x 64 guests.

  PSE10 is not a 64 bit application, only PE10 (Premiere Elements), I think. If your installation is correct. I'm sure that you will get more specific answers by more knowledgeable people...

  Once you have downloaded the correct file as WoodyZ said VMware-Workstation-Full - 9.0.2 - 1031769.i386.bundle be sure to
  

  run $chmod + x VMware-Workstation-Full - 9.0.2 - 1031769.i386.bundle to make the binary executable.  Then you can run

  $sudo. / VMware-Workstation-Full - 9.0.2 - 1031769.i386.bundle

  You can try to move the .txt file to a .bundle file but I would not advise at least maybe the md5sum was identical to the published version. But you should checksum download anyway so why take that chance?

  VMware Workstation is the two 32-bit 64 bit.  On 64-bit host, it uses a 64-bit vmware-vmx with it process the lats and the Virtual Machine itself, but the front-end GUI is 32-bit.
