How to install Windows Live Photo Gallery
new version of the windows photo gallery
I have two pc of running vista. Both windows live installed. Both PCs have different versions of the windows photo gallery. There are more features in edit mode. In particular, it has a function to sharpen images, the other pc with no. I can't understand why they are different, or how to update of one who has all of the features.
Thank you. EF
I have the new version on a pc and the old version on the other. don't have service pack 2 on the one who has the old version (it will not install), that's why I have an older version of photo editing?

Original title: Windows Live Photo Gallery problem
I used to have Windows Live Photo Gallery on this computer and it was working fine. For some reason, he took off. I tried to download again and get a message that says I have to sign as an administrator for the download to work. When I check my user account, it is said that I AM the administrator.
What should do? Thank you
Try to create a new administrator account and see if you can install the program. If you can, your profile is corrupt.

How can I move the Photos in Windows Photo Gallery in Windows Live Photo Gallery?
Move Photos
I had Windows Photo Gallery, first (have always on my computer) and then installed Windows Live Photo Gallery. How can I move the Photos in Windows Photo Gallery in Windows Live Photo Gallery?

but I think I have a more serious problem. In Windows 7 RC, when I plugged in my camera or insert a memory card, I could choose "import pictures and videos using Windows Live Photo Gallery", but in my new installation of Windows 7 RTM, on which I have installed Windows Live Photo Gallery, there is no "Import pictures and videos using Windows Live Photo Gallery" option allotted me in the list of Control Panel AutoPlay or on the AutoPlay pop-up that appears when I plug in a camera.
How can I get that back? Without this option, I have to go through the manual steps tedious to execute WLPG and manually choose to import from there and say what is my camera. It was much better under Vista and Win7RC when I had the simple auto play option.
My PC is running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, but I also installed WLPG on two new computers Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit my parents, and they have exactly the same problem. Is this a known bug? Is there a solution?
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!
Hello bitoclass,
Thank you for visiting the Microsoft answers Site.
The Windows Live Photo Gallery import Option is not available from the AutoPlay on x 64 systems. Try the underside of work around to see this option.

My operating system is Windows Vista. I lost a lot of hard drive space. Looking through the computer, I find that I Windows Photo Gallery, but also Windows Live Photo Gallery. Should I have them both? What is the difference between the two? Which do you recommend that I keep?
Al; so, I have some downloaded items in Windows Live Photo Gallery which I don't want. Systems says I need permission to delete (in order to recover the disk space). I am the only user of this computer, but do not know how to remove them. Please notify. What I don't want are clocks, calendars, and the types of button "play" of things.

Or: Copy this:

"print key" on the windows live photo gallery is hidden by the task bar, so I can't select it. How I choose it?
Resize your window by clicking Restore button (or the - and the X in the upper right corner of the window) and drag the window to the where you can see the "print" key. You can also minimize the window and drag it around.
Another thing you can do is to hold the CTRL key and press the letter P. It still works.
I hope this helps. Good luck.
