How to make an ultimate download Windows 7 with a product key.

We bought a copy of windows 7 Ultimate edition, but never had the time to install it.  Our computer just died and our new laptop doesn't have cd player.  Download a copy?

You can go to a working computer and create a. ISO image that you can use to create a bootable from DVD copy if you have a copy:

Thanks in advance for your help.

The product key you have, Laura... for the OS that was on the hard disk that failed.

    And, you do more, right?

It's what they call OEM operating system... this product key goes hand in hand with THIS hard drive, nothing else.

The Setup is, in addition, on this hard disk.

    Usable ONLY for this hard-drive/computer.

It's in a RECOVERY partition on this hard disk, and you no longer have this hard drive, right?

You can buy another CD of Installation of operating system.

  • How can I get a valid Windows Vista Home Premium product key for my Acer Aspire 5050?

My hard drive failed in my Acer Aspire 5050.  Replaced, reinstalled Windows Vista Home Premium with the appropriate product key, but Microsoft says that it is invalid.  Microsoft wants to buy me a new copy of Windows & there is no available from Acer for my laptop recovery disk.  What can I do?

The product key on the bottom of the laptop is an OEM product key.  This product key does not work for the commercial versions of the operating system.  The original shipping charge might work on the system without entering a product key.

If you did not, or are no longer able to get the recovery media, you will have to buy an operating system of your choice for the installation.

  • can't activate windows xp with the product key that came with the computer

I got a computer of 510N HP Pavilion from a friend who was absolutely riddled with viruses and malware of all kinds.  Every thing I did to clarify apparently nowhere got done or made it worse.  At the end of the day, the computer would only begin to restart, stop after the start of the HP logo screen, then start to boot, etc and more.  All I could do was to install the hard drive in another computer and format, from scratch.  Now, I'm trying to install the system to XP op for the disc that came with the computer.
the problem: the code the product key on the case went wrong with the disc.  After searching for solutions, I found a code on the disk by searching the files it contains, tried and it worked!  Problem is when I try to turn it on, it says it's an "unauthorized product key."  I tried to enter that code on the box and who says he is "invalid".  The Cd look authentic; are for distribution with new pc HP and Compaq.  After a further inspection drives are XP Professional SP2, while if it is XP Home Edition.  What gives?  Activation does not anyway. It is any use that will not make me buy a new set of disks?

Please let me know if more info or detail is necessary.

PS - only a single piece of hardware has been changed - the cdrom initially provided with the computer was bad, so I went out to perform the installation.

When you perform a restore to the factory on some HPs condition you have two choices: 1) a restoration which keeps your data and programs (in a repair installation); (2) a full destructive restore which brings back the machine to the State, it's when you first opened the box. In your case, you have already wiped the drive, so the question is moot. I would call the HP technical support. Normally when you use an OEM recovery media (HP, Dell, etc.) a product key is never required during the restore. If you have used the media to restore HP shipped with your system and are always asked for a key and one on the sticker machine is not accepted, then something is certainly. • Re-install Windows 8 with integrated product key.

Original title: pre-installed windows product key.

I had my laptop (Dell) with pre-installed Windows 8 months ago. Now I want to reinstall windows because there is a problem with the operating system and the need of the product key. But, I'm not, I just find the ID of the product instead.

I already looked on this issue in the Dell Web site, said that: for Windows 8, the product key is 'fed' on the computer at the factory and the installation process and activation motherboard refer to the computer's BIOS to check authenticity and activate Windows. No Windows product key is also provided or required by the customer

    Thanks in advance!

Your answer is in your question.  If you perform a clean installation, it will automatically find your key from the BIOS and you won't need to enter.

However, if you want to extract, you can use the program free belarc advisor .

  • Windows upgrade offer - lost product key

    Hello world

So here is my dilemma - I have a Toshiba laptop that came pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium, when I bought it in October 2012. At the time, Microsoft was running a promotion called the Windows upgrade offer (http://www.windowsupgradeoffer.com), where, if you had purchased an eligible PC/Laptop, you could buy an upgrade to Windows 8 just AU $ 14.99.
Later, Microsoft ran a promotion where you can receive a free media center upgrade which allows you to install Windows Media Center.
Unfortunately, I lost the product key Windows 8 original I had received the supply of Windows 8 upgrade - and my laptop has been infected with a virus. I figured I'd just best to re - install Windows 8 by using the option "remove all and reinstall Windows" in the Windows 8 Control Panel. He was able to reinstall Windows, but asked me to enter a product key. Due to the fact that I could not find my product key, I used Belarc Advisor to find my product key, just before I went ahead with the process of re-installing. Bit I didn't, the product key that Belarc Advisor found was in fact Windows 8 with the product key for Media Center.
Thus, Windows won't let me activate, as the Setup is 'Windows 8 Pro', not 'Windows 8 Pro with Media Center'.
I contacted Microsoft via Twitter, phone (technical support, billing/accounts, activations and Microsoft Store departments) and live chat, those who have no record of my purchase. I still have the Windows upgrade offer promo ID and registration confirmation number I received in an email to * address email is removed from the privacy *, but they prove to be useless for support teams. Also the use of the Windows command summary site (http://mswos.com) does not seem to show my order.
Is that what I am able to do?

    Try contacting Microsoft, once again, that is your best option;

    * Original title: Windows 7 download

Okay, so I bought recently a Windows 7 product key online.  How can I go about downloading Windows 7 to replace Windows 10?

If you have purchased a product without a DVD key while the product key is wrong.  Microsoft does not license providers to supply the leys product without the media.

Only the store Windows itself could ever provide free DVD product keys and they stopped to make a couple of years.

  • How to make a reformat online Windows XP?

How to make a reformat online Windows XP?

You cannot reformat the drive or the Partition of Windows XP while XP is running. To reformat the XP partition, you will need to insert the Windows XP installation CD and boot from the CD. One of the installation option is delete and reformat a partition.

Warning: Reformatting will result in the loss of all your data files (Documents, Photos, music, etc.) and you also need to reinstall XP because it will be removed after reformatting.

Is there a particular reason you want to do this?
