  You can try with below steps if you want:

  Folder Temp light 1).

  (2) close all running Applications.

  (3) close webistes all opened browser.

  (4)disable the firewall temporarily.

  (5) open only Adobe Web site as it is safe and secure site free of all kind of threats.

  (6) then try to download CS 6 Design Standard and check.

  Note: Though the firewall is disabled. do not open applications, files or even other Web sites.

  Or if you think it is still very slow and would not turn off the firewall , you can try with 3' rd party like download managers: IInternet Download Manager , which is more efficient than the browser built in downloader.

  So I think that you can delete them, but you should let iAS re-create. (In this way the permissions will be correct)

  I have three existing environments which are 11g and Apex 3.2 on Linux (Dev, Test, Prod). I have also three front-end web servers that are Windows 2003 with IIS for Apex (Dev, Test, Prod)

  So, my question is on the upgrade of Apex to 4.2 at the same time. I would like to have the new Windows Server (Dev), and then point to the same server to Linux as my old Windows 2003 db.   I thought I ODP and hiding the image in the ODP. Then store the URL in the overall page element to access the image in any of the application but it seems that ODP is drawn for each page and giving the database image. Best way to do this?

  • Have you implemented the ODP using a Cache-Control header, as described?
  • Did you check the cache settings in the browser?
  • Have you used a web inspector to determine if the browser is in charge of the image from cache or asking for each page view?

  There are two ways you can handle this... Build users of the APEX and continued them through the api of the APEX (not recommended by what I saw several comments here, outside the development environment) OR in your application, you could build a custom authentication system...
