  I'm missing the Bluetooth feature. In the device manager is an unknown device listed: ACPI\TOS6205. All other devices are identified.
  My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite L50b PSKTQE, I'm on Windows 7. Link to drivers

  I have already installed stand 'Packages Bluetooth Filter Driver' Atheros and Broadcom. But no Bluetooth. I read that the Bluetooth feature is actually part of the apparatus of 3160 Intel AC, so I installed the "Intel Driver Update Utility install". This tool downloads drivers for Bluetooth and Wlan (Wireless_18.11.0_s64.exe) (WP - BT_17.1.1504.01_S64.exe). But after installing the drivers still no Bluetooth.

  Then I restored windows to a Quick Restore Point where only the Chipset Intel driver have been installed. Here, I installed driver to stand for the Intel AC 3160, once again, but not Bluetooth.

  Can someone give me a clue what I need to do to get the Bluetooth running?

  I installed Win7 64-bit in the brand new laptop HP 15 D050SM who came without any driver.

  The only factor that is missing is the Bluetooth driver, and the driver Qualcomm Atheros QCA9000 series Bluetooth 4.0 + HS Driver for Microsoft Windows , I downloaded from the webpage mentioned above, does not work. During installation it says that the device is unplugged and that the installation cannot be completed successfully.

  It is very strange because the HP Wireless Assistant software is registered directly on the support page and driver 4710 under the solutions section.

  If this is the case, try the latest HP Connection Manager software which does the same thing the software assistant wireless.

  Here's the theory behind your dilemma (except radio BT died).

  This laptop once had the connection manager (since the software assistant Wireless does not) installed, and you can use this software to individually disable bluetooth or devices rather than using the wireless button wireless.

  I guess that for example, turn off the stereo bluetooth with the connection manager to save a small amount of battery power, which increases the time before having to recharge the battery.  But you can still use the wireless.

  The hardware button turns both off the coast.

  The big problem is...

  If none of these devices are turned off by the wireless assistant or the connection manager software and that you reinstall the operating system or to update or other, wireless or bluetooth devices do not appear in the Manager of devices as if they are dead or don't exist.

  You sure have a bluetooth connection built into your laptop?

  You can try this, type bluetooth in the search bar above the ORB start. If the bluetooth file transfer shortcut appears, press on enter to launch it.
