  The Intel HD graphics card appears under the category of display cards in Device Manager or a Standard VGA adapter is displayed.

  I have a R50 Pro Satellite - bought just 1 month ago.

  Suddenly the order of function F3 to control light intensity has stopped working.

  The brightness can down with F2 function but F3 does not work

  F3 in the software and the operating system back to research, but do not work by pulling the brightness setting.

  So I'm stuck with my brightness down as low as it goes.

  I downloaded the latest driver for the feature key and installed, so it isn't that.

  Anyone got any help they can give?

  As a temporary solution, you can change the brightness in the power settings.
  I really don't understand what the problem may be, but try to reinstall the utility system then Toshiba and Toshiba driver to feature key.

  I replaced the original realtek wireless card with an Intel 6230, but it does not work.
  After power on the wireless led on the front control remains empty.

  Windows (7 professional 32-bit) drivers install fine, but said:

  The card is fully functional in another laptop (samsung r528 (same chipset))

  I agree with Akuma that it seems that the new WLan card is not fully compatible.
  Usually, the Fn + F8 activates and deactivates the WLan functionality and if it does not, then you will not be able to switch on the wireless LAN.

  Just a question: some wireless cards can be activated in the Wlan card properties.
  Check Device Manager-> card WLan-> properties-> Advanced tab

To get a fix, you will have to go on the Site of Inteland run the Intel driver update utility.   It seems that some research solved the problem.

  I finished updating the remaining graphics drivers using a third party service, and things stopped crashing.

  In addition, the question was actually with the driver for the monitor, which was something I did not installed (PnP-monitor). I swapped it to the generic PnP monitor, that solved the problem.   I m wondering how you use the function keys.
  As far as I know you can use the function keys in the traditional two keys FN key combinations, or you can press only F (F1 - F9).
  This option can be changed in the BIOS (-> Advanced tab of the system configuration) or in the HWSetup utility.

  To solve the problems of WiFi:
  I recommend you update the WLan driver first.
  Then, you can add a new WLan profile. This can be done in the Panel (switch to the display of the icon)-> Network & Sharing Center. On the left, you will see that the option called manage wireless networks. Until it clicks. Now, you could add and configure the new Wlan

  Regarding sound problems:
  Make sure that its not muted. Additional go to control panel-> sound and ensure that the speakers are turned on in the reading tab.

  I guess you have Intel HD4400 graphics.  The method driver and installation link above will work.

  I can't get a G-connection on 2.45 ghz and only one on the 5 GHz range

  To make things worse, try to call Lenovo is useless without a warranty

  they wont even answer simple questions without it, crazy!

  Have you disabled WMM on the E4200? If you have, then no card Intel and many will fail to connect to any frequency N. For 5 GHz specification requires it to be enabled, but don't really care about many adapters, unfortunately the Intel cards and fail to connect.
