HP 6500 e709n all-in-one prints several pages

Hello

just recently bought a range of all-in-one hp 6500 e709n printers and ocassion the printer allows you to print multiple copies of the same document.  Most of the time, it will print 2 copies of the same document when only 1 was an option.  The other day that he printed 5 copies of the same document when only one was an option.

printer is configured as a network printer on its own with its own ip address.  without wire is not used and the print server is not used because the printer has the capability of integrated network.

I checked all the settings of the printer, in the printers properties on the computer, etc., on all printers in accounts is configured to print only 1 copy of a document.

Why is it just print multiple copies?

How can I solve this problem?

Just lose the paper with this printer and I am not happy with that.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Mark

I'm sorry and apologize for my previous answer.  I did not know that is your signature and it takes as a response to me to ask my question.  I was really confused because I thought this forum was for help and the experiences of the person on the other.

Your reply to disable bidirectional printing seems to work.  Did not have the duplicate at the moment.

Thank you very much for your help

Mark

Will mark the post as solved.

  • How to stop feeling ALWAYS of my C3180 all-in-One printer test page?

Whenever I have replace the black ink cartridge in my C3180 all-in-one printer, it prints a test page. Every time. Always.

It's boring, but also expensive ink is not cheap.

I have an iMac with OS X 10.6.8 'Snow Leopard '.

I have the latest software/drivers of HP printer.

I also searched all the software, to see if there are preferences and settings that I can change.

I realize that a test page should be printed after a new cartridgev is installed, and maybe when I need to test it. But not every freakin ' the printer is turned on. The cartridgte in there now is new and the ink is already weak, and what I am printing is barely readable. There's a pile of scrap paper next to the printer, all test sheets!

I apologize for the attitude, but at more than $20 a pop for the cartridges, it's cost me money that I can hardly afford.

    Thank you!

    Hello

Whenever you replace an ink cartridge cartridge he must be aligned.

Lack of any color will make the alignment to fail and so the printer will continue to try to complete alignment.

Compare the jessy printed with this example, it can happen if you ran out of color ink, etc.:

  • Black cartridge does not print 6500 wireless all-in-one printer

He can't get a black cartridge to print even after cleaning the print heads on my of 6500 all-in-one wireless printer.  I tried cleaning the heads of print and sensors twice no longer useful, but can print color.

jweatherly, unfortunately, it seems that your printhead may be dried or damaged. I would recommend that you replace it if a local retailer or through HP directly.

However, the print heads can be an expensive part of the printer to replace. On this thread (http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Other-Printing-Questions/HP-6500-Office-jet-E709a-Black-printer-cartridge-HP-920-not/m-p/447545#M28623) Bob describes some steps to clean the printhead in a more direct way. It might be useful to follow the steps, he did and see if it improves your print quality, since he worked for others.

  • 6500 E709n: All-in-One has suddenly stopped working

My printer suddenly stopped printing. In addition, don't copy or scan. I installed the new print cartridges, cleaned, heads unplugged and replugged, etc.. It is connected to the computer by a network, but I also tried USB cable.

When I try to print or copy the leaves come out of the totally blank printer. But when I do a test of color, all the colors print correctly. When I try to scan to the office, the scanner shows the inage scanning but it does not appear on the desktop.

    It worked perfectly until today.

It sounds dead for me, but it may work.  If it isn't, try # and 9 keys.

  • 6500 wireless all-in - One Print: Info for eprint app the name of the host

I am trying to print from my iPhone 6 and a time warner email account.
The eprint application requests a host name and port.
How can I find this info.
    Thank you very much

    Hello

You can find SMTP for Time Warner in the link below:

    http://www.timewarnercable.com/en/support/FAQs/FAQs-Internet/e-mailacco/incoming-outgoing-server-addresses.html

Be sure to put the right SMTP server, the 587 port with the information of the user and the password as described.

I don't see any reference to verify the SSL / TLS option, so I guess it doesn't have to be verified... If you are unable to connect, try to check this option as well.

    Kind regards

    Hi Gregory_Mi,

    Thank you for your answer!

I recommend to use our HP print and Scan Doctorand let me know what happens!

If this does not resolve the problem, consider replacing ink cartridges refilled with genuine HP ink cartridges. This way, we will know if the problem is with the cartridges themselves.

If you are unable to reach a resolution, please click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

  • My Officejet 6500 E709 all in one will not print black.

My HP Officejet 6500 E709n all-in-one will not print black.   All other colors work very well.  Have you tried what follows - new black cartridge installed, ran the print heads clean utility, made sure the wind was compatible black ink cartridge, turned printer off and restarted.  Print tests still not print black - other colors and images to print, but not text black or shades of black in images.  Any suggestions on how to fix or what needs to be repaired?  Thank you.

Hi jim: I just had the same problem a few minutes ago. After having gone through all the troubleshooting steps, I realized it was all just a bad cartridge. The PIN on the printer heads were not reading the new cartridge, so nothing in black print could be printed. I installed a new black cartridge and I could resume my printing projects. I then contacted the HP store directly to report the faulty cartridge while they could send me a new, that I won't be out of pocket for a cartridge I bought directly from them.

Hope this helps you with your problem.

    Hello

Thank you for using the HP Forums.

You can try this alternative solution to Scan:

    HP extended Scan

    FTP://FTP.HP.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once it has downloaded and installed, go to start > all programs > HP > HP Scan extended > Run "HP Scan extended.

  • Pages come out White HP Officejet 6500 has e-all-in-one printer.

I have a HP Officejet 6500 a e-all-in-one printer (product # CN555A), and I had problems printing for a while.   I'm working on Windows 8, although the same problem occurs with a Windows 7 laptop that I use sometimes.
Printer goes through all the movement of printing and pages come out sometimes very thirsty or Virgin (illegible). At the beginning, once in a while it would happen, and once the printer is rested for a few days, it works again. Now it happens all the time and I can't print.  I did ALL the steps of troubleshooting hp and nothing works.   A few days ago, I managed to have it print a little darker, but it mainly printed in gray-greenish, but after the second page, he just disappeared again to nothing.  I think it may be something on the channels contained in the cartridges of ink to the page or something like that.  Can someone help me understand this and the difficulty of my printer?

    Thank you
    )

Considering that the yellow is almost full and is printing very well, there is actually a small chance that the low level of ink you see (approx. 25%) this is dried up in the cartridge itself.  Think of the ink as a former condiment that has been in your refrigerator for a long time.  When there are more things in the container, it is less likely to dry up, but when you have only a little inside, the air-to-ink ratio increases the chances of this being actually what caused this.

Although it is cheaper to do the printhead of soaking, it's also much more risky than buying the new ink first.  I highly recommend making sure that you have replaced the low ink cartridges before trying the latest possible stage.

Certainly, it is probably due to cleanups of printhead, print tests and other basic troubleshooting steps that caused you to be low on ink in the first place.  Maybe double check on the return policy of the store about the ink you buy maybe not a bad idea, either in case you do not buy, does not print, you are soaking the print head and then it also fails.

Better to be prepared for the worst but hoped that the simplest solution is the best one (Occam's razor) is what I mean by all this.  Keep me posted on what you decide to do.  * fingers crossed *.
