HP 7520e Photosmart - ink installation cartridges?

HPI just opened and tried to set up my e 7520 HP printer all in one.   I installed the ink cartridges that came with the prnter during installation.  The screen is saying that the I do not have the appropriate installation cartridges installed.  This unit came from Wal-Mart as a given article to nine.  What should I do to get the appropriate cartridges?

Thanks for the comments!  Received cartridges were not marked as "Setup."  I called the phone number of HP and got the help of a tall young man in India.   Tooke HE me by the small secret door in the menu screens.  There, I was able to turn off the part of the installation initialization and then the printer ink cartridges that came with the unit.  It would have helped if the 'HP renovation group' had included the correct cartridges OR configure the printer for standard cartridges.  She now works and I hope it will give me a quality service.

  • HP8600 - ink installation

I have a Pro in 8600 printer who ran out of black ink this morning.  No problem - jumped and I bought a new one.  He then ran out of cyan, and I understand due to the (not disclosed at the point of sale) design of the printer, I need to replace it even if I want to print in B & W.  This printer is a replacement for the last 8600 that lasted less than a year, and as a goodwill gesture HP gave me a free pack of inks with the replacement.  It turns out that these inks are inks for installation, and when I try to replace ink installation with a new installation ink the printer does not accept it.  So, my question is, I have to go out and buy a new cyan ink, and if yes, does mean that the gesture of goodwill given by HP is actually unnecessary?  Or can I use these other inks of installation, and if so how I can force the printer to accept these?  There is on one end of a deadline for work so hoping for a quick answer to this!  Thank you.

The cartridges of configuration can only be used for the initial setup of the printer, and then used up what they are exhausted.  When the cartridges of configuration are exhausted, they must be replaced by cartridges of regular trade.  I expect the cartridges of configuration that HP sent will be required for the initial installation of the second printer.

In any case, you will need to replace the cartridge impoverished with a standard or XL cartridges in detail.  I suggest to check you the levels of the other colors as well.  The boot process, associated with the initialization of a new cyan cartridge will use a bit of ink in every other color.  If they're almost here already to install a new cartridge color maybe exhaust other colours which were almost empty.

  • How many pages can I expect to get ink installation?

Recently, we have installed a new HP Officejet 7610 and come to receive notice of it being low on black ink. The ink cartridge is the ink of "setup" provided with the machine. They have been labeled as cartridges high capacity XL. Our ink report shows that we have of 540 pages printed. I know that they were not heavy ink (just normal text). I wonder if that's what we should expect in cartridges installation or if that's what we should expect from all cartridges.

Any information would be helpful. Thank you.

    Hi WatsonMD,

Thanks for the inquiry.  Install cartridges are a bit different than a carton of regular trade.  The ink used during initialization can reduce the number of additional pages with cartridges of trade.  Also, several elements should be considered when comparing performance per cartridge.  Output may be affected by the density of the ink used for the print job, as well as the maintenance, the paper used and evaporation that occurs over time.  Page's performance is lower than I expect, but because these are cartridges of installation I am not concerned due to the additional steps and the initialization process.  Also if installation cartridges have been dormant for a long period of time evaporation could have occurred.  Once the cartridges are changed for trade cartridges don't forget to check to make sure that page yeilds are similar to estimated counties located in the links below.  Of course the impact discussed must be considered, but yeilds must correlate with the estimated number of cartridges of the trade.

  • Photosmart ink advantage - airprint does not work

I have printer photosmart ink advantage, elitebook 8540w, ipad2 and router tp-link WR941N.

Print from my laptop via a WiFi without problem but then my ipad does not see the printer.

When I stopped the laptop computer ipad see airprint and the printer works.

Why the ipad doesn't see the printer when the laptop is turned on?

    Hello

Check the thread below, the user indicates that the router does not support multicast as rendered for AirPrint, as he got confirmed support tp-link:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/eprint-print-apps-mobile-printing-and-ePrintCenter/iPhone-4-amp-HP-7510e/m-p/1430107/highlight/true#M18999

Try printing using HP Direct wireless to eliminate any problem of router. If AirPrint works through direct wireless which clearly indicate a problem of router:

  • Levels of HP C7280 ink & put cartridge software/driver?

Since the day one on my renovated with printer all-in-One extended warranty C7280 cartridge estimated ink level have indicated/felt empty.  At the time and after replacing the printer once again I finally learned by a supervisor of the support phone HP that the factory provided ink cartridges were special and because they were not full, first, estimated ink levels would be would not read.  so... I waited and waited and finally black ink ran out and I replaced it with a new cartridge in date, which worked well but unfortunately its estimate of read ink level empty too.  so... I continued to wait and finally Magenta and Light Magenta down dry and I replaced with cartridges date and still none of the ink level estimates register.

Although I suspect something wrong with the printer along the cause is it possible I neglected/was unaware of a simple fix to get these read levels now?

I read the levels of ink directly from the screen on the printer.  No need to use the software Connectivity PC side.  Besides, because of other unresolved problems I uninstalled software applications and uses only the drivers.  This leads to the second question/problem...

After the support of futile attempts to fix wireless phone another supervisor told me that HP has been in the weeks, releasing an update of the v12 for my printer software.  He had lied because this v12 software released on other printers, but not the C7280 and its nearest summer for one year.  I would like to know if anyone knows what are the intentions of HP?  V12 will be always available for the C7280?

Unfortunately, with HP I found it much easier to ignore the problems I had and work around them then spend time futile with offshore technical support.  What a WASTE of the industry does discover offshore support at low cost.  They got what they paid for and we had trouble.

Progress...  There is a simple solution for ink cartridge levels is displayed not correctly - only vacuum for the last 10 months.  However, there was no reason given as to why HP does.  A few days ago, a phone tech took me by making a hard printer factory reset where you unplugged the uinit, then all by pressing the "6" and keys ' # ' plug the power back in.  For the first time that the ink levels read their correct estimates and the self-assessment report showed these values too.

Unfortunately with the fluid level reading this thread to find out that 3 of the 6 spare ink cartridges I bought 10 months ago and had to start using some 2 months ago where not full.  In fact the yellow cartridge I replaced two days ago to read only 53% full immediately.

I tried to get HP to compensate me for these three cartridges partially filled and finally spoke to a support engineer in the United States without result.  However she told me that these renovated C7280 printers have been sent with the function of liquid ink level disabled on purpose but did not say why.  She said that the early support should have reset the printer 10 months ago, I agree.

In the end, Office Max, where I bought the original printer, exchanged the three ink and cartridges for the first time the icons on the screen of the printer ink cartridge all disappeared.  In fact, I thought it was now a new problem, but apparently that's normal when all cartridges are more than 50% or so full - at least that's what said this same technical support engineer.  And for the first time, the self-assessment report has listed all levels of ink to 100%.  Is everything working now?  Time will tell.

(So restore the printer to Ethernet and using only the printer drivers base v 10 [no printer installed software apps] I don't have to reset the router periodically during print jobs wouldn't last and I feel a printer real reliability back finally.)  It's also I think as my first post here in the forum HPs I checked "resolved."  Also...  I do not work for HP... "and do not like their offshore phone support).

  • Incompatible error Photosmart 2575 color cartridge

    Hello

I'm trying to settle a problem with printer Photosmart 2575 of my daughter.

    Operating system: Windows 7 64-bit

    Printer: HP Photosmart 2575 (Malay), MY65N1119Q, Q7211L

She needed a new color cartridge and was sold a 344 HP cartridge, who had told him was compatible with his printer and cartridge replaces the original 342. The problem is rejects him by saying that it is NOT compatible with the Photosmart 2575 printer cartridge. I checked online and note HP 344 cartridge IS compatible. I followed the suggestions on the help page, IE. re-installed the cartridge, cleaned the contacts of the cartridge, etc. without result; the printer always reports that the cartridge is not compatible.

Replacement of the original cartridge (empty) the printer reports everything in order and try to print. Of course print documents of W & B is very good with the place empty color cartridge.

    Everyone knows about this problem?

Does anyone know if there is a updated firmware for Photosmart 2575? If it is available I have not found it.

I have to say that I'm pretty bummed. at nearly £ 30 once, it's an expensive way to discover the recommended HP print cartridge does not work!

    Hi Nermski

Following the advice of HP, I returned cartridge of my daughter to them for a refund. Maybe you should contact them also?

  • Photosmart 7520e: black ink cartridge doesn't work on Photosmart 7520e

Black ink cartridge stopped working.  I replaced the cartridge with a new cartridge, HP 564 XL.  Used printer clean print head and Align tools.  Received message 'alignment failed.  Cartiridges are defined for quality parameters' the printer is off guaranteed so no help from HP.  Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to do?

    Hi @aquaharry,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see that you have recently changed the black cartridge on your HP Photosmart 7520 and now you cannot print. You get a "alignment failed.  Cartridges are defined for quality parameters "."

I wish you continue troubleshooting here: color or black ink not print

Complete all of THE steps and make sure that the cartridges are properly ventilated.

  • Photosmart C4640 installation of new ink cartridges

In the past, I usually install the multi package (black and color) in the machine when it runs.  Once I installed only the color cartridge (because the black cartridge is still a lot of ink in there) and the printer will not accept the new color cartridge.  So I took the totally black cartridge and installed a new color and a black cartridge and then I managed to move forward with my impression.  My question is - is it normal to have to replace BOTH cartridges when one needs to be replaced?  It would be cheaper to replace only the color cartridge... the twin color and black package usually runs about $40.00!  Is there an alternative to a $40.00 a pop!  I use my printer.

    Hi @ted48,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I noticed that you were unable to continue to print unless you have replaced both cartridges instead of with your HP Photosmart c4640. I'm sorry to hear that, but I'm happy to see it for you!

This is definitely not normal for this printer, you need to replace both cartridges. It is a possible sign of a hardware problem.

In the meantime, I recommend this guide, a "cartridge problem', 'has no cartridge", or "Incompatible cartridge" Error Message is displayed on the computer.

    I hope this information helps!

  • 5510 fact cracking noise Photosmart ink cartridge access door

When I opened my Photosmart 5510 to access door cartridge ink it makes a cracking sound strong.

Someone at - it the same problem?

Or someone knows how to solve the problem of teas

    Hi MHKA1379,

The printer may make noises if the transport cannot move freely. Return the document in the link below:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02865805

Under Solution 3, follow the steps to "check the way of transport for obstructions. Check and remove any loose paper or objects that restrict the movement of the cart left and right.

Note: Use a flashlight to light up the area.

If this does not help, follow the steps in order to ensure the "messages in the cartridge to the parking lot do not block the transport' and 'cartridges do not touch the printer cover.

Hope this help to solve the problem.

  • How to remove, head clean print Photosmart C6380. 6515 Photosmart ink cartridge compatibility

I had found information several months ago on how to remove and clean the print head, but I can't find it now.  I replaced the Photosmart C6380 with a 6515 Photosmart because when the 6380 stopped working I had to buy a large amount of ink and the 6515 used the same ink cartridge #.  However, the 6515 will not accept the cartridges with the error message they are an older generation.  I think that if the cartrides were not compatible, a number of different cartridge should be used.  So now, I want to try to solve the problem with the C6380 printhead, so I don't have to trash my entire ink supply.

Here is a document on how to clean the contacts on the cartridges themselves.

I think that the removal of the print head and of cleaning you're wanting is in this post here.

Please note that soaking the print head should only be performed on the print heads that are out of warranty. Check that warranty end date to the printhead located by the contacts on the print head to make sure he went from warranty. The reason I put in custody which is a printhead soaking, a guarantee will be cancelled.

  • 7520 Photosmart ink cartridges

T1) I have a Photosmart 7520 aged 8 months with 5 ink cartridge connectors.  Previously I need only to purchase the large black 364XL ink cartridge.  Last week, as my color was exhausted, I bought the pack-4 364, which, to my surprise, a big black, little Rose, blue and yellow cartridges - no small black.  Can I buy the small size black separately?

Q2) I was also surprised that every 5 went out at the same time, while still showing a small amount on screen.  They aim to stop after so many copies, regardless of the necessary ink left in one of the cartridges?

The small cartridge "black" is a photo cartridge, you can buy a 364 or 364xl photo cartridge separately.

There is a boot process that uses little ink when a cartridge is replaced to remove the air the printheads.  If some cartridges are low on ink (but perhaps not completely depleted) change a different cartridge may cause enough ink to use to exhaust the cartridges of weak.

That here, the document includes information about using ink in the printer, Photosmart 7520 is an IIC printer in the terminology of this document.
