  You have 32-Bit or 64-Bit Windows 7?

  If you have installed the printer using drivers auto-installés by Windows 7 they can only be basic and do not have the extra features. Please try to go to the printer manufacturer's Web site and the Windows 7 full download/install last have drivers/software for your printer (assuming they exist).

  Try to resave the EPS to the native .ai or .psd format (depending on whether it's raster or vector) and use it.

  Even if my Epson NX125 showed only the Cyan almost empty [not completely empty], no other cartridges are now showing ink.   I can't find a 'black' for the side cartridge far left slot (not the picture) to my printer without having to buy color cartridges too which I don't need.  HP 564 packaging said it fits the 7525 but it DOES NOT fit in the first place... it's TOO BIG. I bought one for $15, so I know not it does not fit and I've fulfilled my original with refill from Costco for $ 7 and that does not work either!   It shows that the cartridge is empty and he is not.  It's $40 to buy all color cartridges, which includes the small fitting cartridge.  All solutions other than the pit printer and buy a new one and not a HP one?  Someone managed to find the smallest 564 black cartridge that fits the HP 7525?

  The cartridge on the left side, the same size as the cartrdiges color, is the Photo, not the black cartridge cartridge.  You can buy it in the store or HP or others online.   The black cartridge is physically larger than the color or Photo cartridges.

  564 black cartridge has a Pentagon on the cartridge but a circle on the box...  The Photo cartridge has a butterfly on the cartridge and a camera on the box node.

  BTW, if a cartridge is filled he will continue to show as empty, unless the chip on the cartrdige is replaced or reprogrammed.  I suggest to take back to Costco for a refund, they did half the work.

  If the cartridges are rebuilt you will not get a read out on the ink levels. You will need to use a new OEM cartridge with a new chip for the ink levels. Click on the links below for more information.

  Unfortunately, Canon did not write all the drivers for v10.11 compatibility El Capitan. See here.

  I have been successfully print with my HP Officejet Pro 8600 up to our days.  Yesterday, it was very good.  My partner did some Fax and a copy at the end of yesterday.

  Print jobs are held in Quebec City, but they each is a larger file.  I tried several times to print a .doc to the file of 1 MB and it shows in Quebec as a 16 MB.  I converted the .doc for a smaller PDF file and it shows more than 6 MB.

  Instead of restarting the computer and the printer, I just restarted my computer and it fixes the wifi disconnection.  Not sure why it happened.  I'm on the road for a few weeks, so for now, the issue is resolved.  Thanks for your thoughtful time and sincere effort of detective on the situation.

• HP ENVY 5530 e allin one: my printer keeps showing offline, tried many things to try to resolve including uninstall.

  Help.  I'm at a total loss what to do next.  My printer is telling me it is disconnected.  I was on different websites and downloaded the troubleshooting to solve the problem.  When I ran the computer troubleshooting somes back saying the printer isn't switiched, although it most certainly is.  Have uninstalledd the software and installed again.   Number of brand and model of the router?

  These settings are to set up your printer wireless (or wired):

  • Stay connected to your router
  • Trouble printer status 'offline '.
  • All wireless devices stay better connected
  • Fact faith, your router most secure and hack
  • Can speed up wireless printing

  While the DHCP is convenient, devices like printers (wired and wireless) should always be assigned a (fixed) IP address manually to avoid conflicts on your wireless network and must be outside the range of the router DHCP.  After setting the IP address static, computer must be updated to show a Standard TCP/IP port with the IP address of printers under printer properties/Ports. 

  1. Set a static in the printer IP address (click here) outside the range of the DHCP of the router (check your manual). It is for Linksys routers, but can be used for all routers. Check your DHCP range and change this first if necessary.   2. Or check in the printer "Auto Off/sleep/Energy Saving Mode" is disabled the System Mode Time Out is set to zero (0) Use the built-in webserver (EWS) by visiting the printer address IP address in the address bar of your browser, click on settings tab/Auto Off. Or use the printer, printer Home Page (EWS) Wizard. Also check your printer properties.
  3. If the printer supports and has IPv6 enabled, disable the IPv6 option in the printer.
  4. Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a socket wall and not to a UPS, power strip or a lightning arrestor. This will cause the printer to drop offline connection and disconnection (checked yes!).

• OfficeJet 5740 e-all-in-one: the printer display shows 'downloading' message despite no web service implemented

  I got a new Officejet 5740 e-all-in-one and put in place a few days ago. It is implemented in a router which is also a modem.  I've implemented any web service.  My network is password protected, and I'm the only one on this subject.

  A couple of times I arrived in front of the printer and there was a screen that says that there is a current download, and he showed the percent completed. This surprised me because I have not implemented in web services for the printer.

  I cancelled the download, both times.  The second time I accidentally typed the screen again.  I don't know what button I hit, but it has printed a message that says that my printer is now web enabled.  He also says that my printer has an email address.

  I went into the web installer, and it seemed to me that I had not implemented the web.

  Thanks for joining the Forums of HP Support for a solution to your printer problem.

  I understand that you use a 5740 Officejet from HP printer e-all-in-one with a computer of Windows 7 and you noticed that the screen of the printer said there was a current download, which you surprised because you but you did not set up web services. I would like to help with that.

  You mentioned that the printer has its own e-mail address. Web services have been enabled for the printer to have an address of mail @hpeprint.com. It is possible to disable the ePrint and printable HP once the HP Web Services has been enabled.

  The download that was underway was probably a printer update, which will come by automatically. Nothing to do with the computer. I don't think there is a record of updates of the printer anywhere.
