HP Broadcom Wireless 215 G1

Trying to get a driver 64-bit windows 7 for the Broadcom BCM943228HMB 2 x 2 for the G1 to 215 HP.  The version of Windows 8 does not work, and HP has posted nothing on their Web site.  It is a Windows 7 installation clean, any help appreciated!

Hello:

Please see if this driver works... It lists your WLAN only supported card.

  • dv6119us Broadcom wireless issue

This has probably been answered in a previous post, so my apologies for asking again.

I have a dv6119us with wireless broadcom internal to the pc card.  The wireless card disappeared from my device manager and I can no longer connect to my wireless network.  I have another laptop which connects to it without any problems.

It's the second time this has happened to me, the first time that the pc was under warranty and HP replaced the card wireless free of charge (it was a hardware problem) now I have the same exact symptoms as last time, and I suspect the wireless card has not yet.  First card lasted 11 months before failing, and now the replacement, one lasted about 13 months... GRRRRRR

Is there a way I can confirm the wireless card is turned without having to buy a new one to try first?  Also, if I need to replace the card, can someone tell me if I hae an option to buy another thing another Broadcom wireless card?  When I remove the cover of the card said to replace with HP spare 407159-001 wireless?  I'm looking for just something a little more robust than this card Broadcom even if I have to pay extra for it!

Thanks in advance for the help!

Take a read of thisBlog on the upgrade, installation and configuration of the cards for computer laptop mini pci wireless. There are a few options available to you as long as you aren't afraid to open your laptop. Of course, the changes are your own responsibility and guarantee goes out the window.

  • HP Mini 210 Windows 7 32 bit 4313 Broadcom wireless problem, perhaps.

I got my mini MP 210 with XP a few days ago House.  I've upgraded to WIndows 7 yesterday.  After installing, everything was humming very well, even the wireless.  I thought it's too good to be true.  Then Windows installed 21 updates.  After the updates that my wireless has been sprayed.  Same problems everyone else has documented ihere.  I think that there is something in these updates in conflict with the driver Broadcom 4313.

To make a long story short, I found the previous version of the hp/broadcom driver.  The URL is:

    ini-210-PC-Broadcom-Wireless-LAN-Driver-5-60-18-4 http://www.userdrivers.com/notebook-Tablet-PC/HP-M...

Right-click on the computer click Properties-, and then click Device Manager.

Right-click on Broadcom 4313 802.11b/g/n (in network adapters), and then click on uninstall.  Check box to remove the driver for this device.  You should be uninstall driver version 5.60.350.6 dated dated 22/03/10

Reboot, and then install the driver from the URL above.  This is the version 5.60.18.41dated 10/23/09.

So far, I'm 2 for 2 with my wireless works now.

My guess is that HP will have to come out with a new driver to fix this new conflict with WIn7.

It is a follow-up to my original post.

The old version of the Broadcom wireless driver has not fixed the problem.  WiFi was always intermittent.  Sometimes she would see my wireless home and sometimes she would bring free wireless.  I tried various things throughout the weekend.

Last night I went to windows update and it says there are two updates to install.  One of them was

Microsoft Update driver for Realtek RTL8102E/RTL8103E Family PCI - E Fast Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.20)

Well after I did this update as all my problems wireless went.  Maybe the Realtek driver has demolished the Broadcom wireless.  I think that HP knew there was a problem and got Microsoft to send the update to fix.it.  Just my guess.

  • Broadcom Wireless stopped working after Windows updates

    Hello, everyone!

I have a Pavilion dv6000 with wireless network. Everything was OK, but last Monday the blue wireless light was suddenly always amber and me did not have wireless access. These are the facts about my problem:

    * I reset my laptop to factory - wireless configuration works very well

    * Windows Update all installed, but one, updates - wireless works fine

    * I installed the new Windows Live Messenger - WIRELESS STOPED working

    * I uninstalled Windows Live Messenger - wireless works fine

    * Windows Update installed .NET Framework 3.5 (it was the update of Windows I jumped at step 2)-without WIRE EFFONDRES WORKING

And now, my problem is that even if I try to "roll back" to a "restore point" before installing .NET, I get an error and I don't seem to be able to "Uninstall".NET 3.5. On the other hand, the pilot "Broadcom Wireless 802.11 g" has disappeared from the Device Manager and I don't seem to be able to reinstall it, or not reinstalling patches 'HP Wireless Manager' the problem.

    Can you help me, please?

    Thanks in advance,

    Nuno

Work on laptop of my boss's son is having the same issue... I got to work by going into safe mode device manager and delete all references to pci bridge and restart... xp detects the wireless card as well as all pci bridge components and everything is golden... update XP sp3 now and go see if only the pipes still wireless card... will put in day this post when finished... im on xp, but I'm sure it would work for vista too many... questions you can email [email protected]

    * Update *.

Installation of XP Service Pack 3 has made clear the wireless card again... is returned in Manager mode and the security apparatus and remove all references to the PCI subsystem devices except Bus PCI and ISA standard PCI bridge and rebooted and bam wireless card is back... it is quite boring... my recommendation would be to turn the builtin wireless power off and go buy a wireless usb card and do with it...

    Hello

I need help please, despite the download of the driver package, and even the Windows 7 64-bit individual drivers for the Broadcom wireless I am still unable to get the unit up and running. ID of the device as a Broadcom BCM943228Z 802.11abgn WiFi adapter and although it seems to be installed the entrance of deivce Manager displays a yellow exclamation point and WiFi adapters are present in the network connections screen.

If I try to update the drivers I am be said its updated or get a update.cpp1205 error. I have 9 of them to rely on Windows 7 Professional and is the only element left to deal with.

    Hello:

    See if this driver works...

This package contains the Broadcom Wireless LAN driver and is required to activate the LAN adapter wireless Broadcom integrated in the laptop models running a supported operating system. This package also contains the Broadcom Wireless Utility and Extensions HSI application which adds support for the Extensions compatible Cisco.

  • Crackling Audio Sigmatel and Broadcom Wireless

I have a Dell Inspiron e1505 laptop with 2 gig ram and 1.6 GB Intel T2050 processor and a new installation of Vista. I find during playback of music played or from the hard drive is there an intermittent Crackle in the audio when my wireless is enabled.

I have the latest ATI driver for the video, Broadcom wireless driver and driver Sigmatel HD Auio from Dell. I tried to uninstall everything audio and then having Windows find a compatible driver. The audio is always crackling in Vista. I reinstalled everything again with the same result.

I bought a Creative X - FI USB sound card but this cracked too well on the USB bus.

So I am at a loss to explain this, since the same material worked flawlessly under WinXP Sp3.

Can you help me? Thank you.

I found a solution to my problem which cost me thirty dollars. I bought a program called DriverCure Pareto Logic which is a DELL Wireless n pilot recently that fixed audio crackling for good. If anyone has this problem so this is a way to solve the problem of cracking.

  • Windows XP cannot connect to DSL Wireless Modem - locked mode "Acquiring Network Address", never connects. Broadcom wireless card

I have a HP ZV5000 laptop, who has recently suffered a hard drive crash. I replaced the drive reinstalled the operating system and it is running Windows XP Home Professional with Service Pack 3 installed.

When you attempt to connect to a wireless network, it finds all those that are generally available, but won't connect.

The properties indicates that the laptop uses "Broadcom 802. "11b / g WLAN. (Broadcom website isn't much help. The site seems to be mostly press releases).

I am told that it worked (I can't confirm this, as the player crashed when I got it).

Any suggestions? If there is any other information necessary to solve this, please let me know and I'll be more than happy to provide.

    Thanks in advance!

    How do you reinstall Windows?

If you use a Microsoft Windows XP installation CD, you must install all of the drivers as well.  If you have reinstalled using any method HP supplies to 'restore factory State' you will have already installed the drivers.

If you can get to the Internet by connecting to the laptop using an Ethernet cable, you can go HERE and click the button "Scan Now" to make sure that you have all the correct drivers.

However, because you can see the available wireless networks, it seems that you have at least a certain driver installed for your wireless network card.

The usual reason that a wireless adapter cannot acquire a network address is the router's security settings are not allowing the connection.

The best way to deal with misconfigured security settings is to remove the 'profile' currently registered and try to connect again.

Open network connections (start > run > ncpa.cpl > OK)
Right-click on the icon for your wireless adapter and select Properties
Click the Wireless Networks (see screenshot)
If the "Use Windows to configure my wireless network" box is NOT checked, you use a third-party utility to configure the adapter and need to read its User Guide to determine how to remove the 'profile' to connect to your router.
Assuming that the box is checked, find SSID (network name) router in the list of "Preferred networks" and click 'delete '.
    OK your way out
Find your network in the list of available networks, and then click 'connect '. Make sure you enter the password correctly.

If this does not work, the next step would be to connect to the router by an Ethernet cable, temporarily remove all security settings that are configured on the router, remove the "My network places" configuration as above and try to connect again.

If you need help to get to and the configuration of the router, please provide the make, model and hardware version, as appropriate (check the label).

  • HP G72 Broadcom wireless disconnect every hour

I have 2 computers in my room. HP pavilion all-in-one W7 (works fine) and a laptop HP G72 W7. My problem is the following: each time my wireless back on my laptop but never does on my all-in-one as well telling me this isn't my modem in the other room. It uses the Broadcom driver version 5.60.350.23 802.11b/g/n 4313

How can I solve this problem?

    Hello @jcald1274 ,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand that the wireless adapter is oddly on your book one.  I apologize for the inconvenience, but I'll do my best to help you!

There could be a number of causes of this problem. I will deal with all these a few troubleshooting methods. To start to solve the problem, try the procedure described in this document from HP: troubleshooting your wireless network and Internet access (Windows 7)

These measures should be sufficient to solve the problem. It covers all the bases, which are able to solve the issue if the cause is something simple.

If this does not help, you can try a manual reinstall of the wireless adapter driver. Because the adapter is having a problem, this will determine whether or not it is a driver conflict, or something else:

    1. go in Device Manager, then the network cards.

    2. right click on the wireless driver and select "Uninstall".

    3. restart the computer. This will force the driver to resettle.

As a final check, try to connect the computer to the router with an Ethernet cable. This can help, because the problem may only be with the wireless adapter.

Please let me know your results. Thank you!

  • Adapter wireless Broadcom - able to connect only to google

    Hello

I am facing a problem with my wireless connection. I am connected to my wireless network, but not able to surf the net. I am not able to go to any Web site other than Google.com or google related websites (like gmail, orkut). Don't open all the other sites (cnn, yahoo, etc). This is a brand new laptop and I also did a system recovery. I also tried to download updated driver available for card "Broadcom 802.11a/b/g wlan.

Please could you provide a pointer as to what could be the problem?

the problem is resolved. I read on some forum that Broadcom wireless adapters do not work with WPA wireless networks. So I just change the type of my network wireless for WPE. This has solved the problem and I am able to connect to all websites using my wireless connection.
