  • Samsung ML2525W printer does not print, the Red toner light stays on. Replace toner, no change.

My Samsung Laser printer is less than a year.  I rarely use it.  The red light by the symbol of the triangle (cartridge toner according to manual) came and I was no longer able to print.  I have replaced the toner with a new one cartridge, printer and USB for PC connection and turn it back on about two or three times.  No change.  I even opened a 2nd (new) toner cartridge and replaced thinking one of my 2 new ink cartridges could be a dud.  However, still no printing and the red light stays on.  Any suggestions?

    Hello

I see that you mentioned that the printer is less than a year, so I would recommend that you contact the manufacturer of the printer to help. The issue seems to be with the material.

webster22, is this printer connected on a wall or on a surge protector?

If you have gone through the Setup Menu the Setup Menu under 'Energy settings' and the system chosen for the Sleep Delay option, then you have successfully configured the printer for its energy conservation mode.

I find not specific, it is possible that the screen can stay in this mode, however most of the time the power off screen is a feature of mode 'sleep'. With the screen being on this subject is still possible it's save energy by stopping all other drains power.

You can also check the firmware of the printer via the link below to make sure it is up-to-date.

  • HP LaserJet 5035 MPF: Initialization of HDD HP LaserJet 5035 MPF

    Hello

I am troubleshooting a problem with a printer HP LaserJet 5035 MPF.

The control panel shows the 49.FF81 error, what I was doing:

-Update the firmware and drivers to the latest version.

    -Cold reset

    -Change the hard drive.

I turn on the printer, configure the TCP/IP stack. the beginning of the printer works properly.

After 5 to 10 minutes, the control displays 49.FF81 error Panel and I loose the access and the printer will not work.

I'm doing a reset disk, but I have not found the procedure how to do.

    Please, I need help.

    Thank you

I doubt that the hard drive is your problem, but here are the instructions that are in the maintenance manual, which you say you have.

    1. turn off the unit.
2 turn the unit on and immediately hold down the Start button on the keyboard of the Panel as
as soon as the Panel of configuration-display backlight lights.
    3. continue to press the button start until all three-panel LEDS remain lit.
    Release the Start button.
    4. press the 5 key to access the function of mid-tier service.
    5. press 6 to select the service function of intermediate level (initialize disks).

If indeed the unit goes to the error after a period of time with the printer not attached to anything except the power, I think that you need to replace the formatter.

  • HP LaserJet 600 M601; do not print redux

As another forum poster, my HP LaserJet 600 M601 stopped printing after having worked well for a few weeks after the updated OS x 10.8 (mid-2011 iMac).  But I can't seem to implement the corrections suggested in this thread.

I installed the sofyware update and restarted the Mac without effect.

I don't seem to have an identity of Hello to try the workaround that worked for another poster.

I don't find any option to "Reset printing system", either by pop-up menu drop-down, or the button.

The computer sees the printer connected via USB.  He says it's printing, then going to "waiting for printer to become ready" and stays there but no further progress.  The printer says it is "ready".

Does anyone have any other patches for this?  I just bought the printer about a month ago.  Already, he can't be obsolete can?

Just do an uninstall and then reinstall drivers from the Apple site (http://support.apple.com/kb/DL907?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US).

Rebooted and reconnected, printed two documents successfully.  I hope that the fix is real.  Thanks for any help potential that would have given you.

PS - Runs the update of the software HP through the app store first didn't work.

  • LaserJet P1005 and Windows 7

I have just download and install the latest drivers for Windows 7 64 bit from HP for my Laserjet P1005 website.  However I can't get the printer to work.  I tried the basic so the star driver.

With the automatic configuration, I go to the step where it says connect my printer (the fundamental and comprehensive driver), but I never get an option to conitnue.  When I connect / turn on the printer, I see the device in the control panel Windows 7 as an unknown device, but the installation wizard n no change to give me the next button.  So I can't do anything.

When I try to install manually, I can successfully install the Windows printer c can be seen, but when I go to print, the first time, the light flashes right on the printer and after that, the printer does nothing.  If I remove the task from the queue, when I go to print again, the work just stay in the queue and printer normal lighting.

Any1 have any ideas or are there problems with the drivers.

    SOLUTION!

    Hello

I think I found the solution.

I downloaded the latest driver on the HP site. I run the Setup, and as the instaler asked me to plug the printer I did. Of course, nothing happened.

I left the open Installer and downloaded this tool:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=bi-59850-1&LC=en&DLC=en&cc=us&lang=en&OS=1060&product=3435668

I run the tool, and still nothing.

Then, I opened the Device Manager and discovered the printer kisted under "unknown device". I cliocked on her right and updated the driver, I selected to check the drivers online as well.

The driver is installed in seconds and the installer HP always open recognized the printer, making me now to install the extended functionality.

I have a Bud pretty testpage my hand. All of this has worked. I don't think that the plugandplay recovery tool was essential to make it work. But I posted it in all cases.

    Hope that helps.

  • HP laserjet 9050dn

I have a hp laserjet 9050dn in my office, I turn on the power, and the printer is warm up when it initialize error code 53.07 appear on the screen.

Any help to solve this error code.

    Thank you

    Student

53.07 error code indicates a problem with the memory of the printer. The DIMM must be replaced or put back in place.

Here are the steps to reinstall the DIMM module:
    1. turn off the printer. Unplug the power cord and cables
    2. remove the screws from the back of the printer and remove the printer formatter Board.
    3. remove the module DIMM package. Hold the DIMM with fingers against the side edges and thumbs against the back edge. Align the notches on the DIMM with the DIMM . (Check that the locks on each side of the DIMM slot are open either outwards).
    4. firmly press the DIMM straight into the slot. Make sure the latches on each side of the DIMM snap inward. (To remove a DIMM module, the locks must be released).
    5. replace the formatter Board in the printer and tighten the two screws.
    6. connect the power cord and connect all cables. Turn on the printer.
    7. If the message persists while the memory is faulty, you will need to contact HP.

Number of brand and model of the router?

These settings are to set up your printer wireless (or wired):

    • Stay connected to your router
    • Trouble printer status 'offline '.
    • All wireless devices stay better connected
    • Fact faith, your router most secure and hack
    • Can speed up wireless printing

While the DHCP is convenient, devices like printers (wired and wireless) should always be assigned a (fixed) IP address manually to avoid conflicts on your wireless network and must be outside the range of the router DHCP.  After setting the IP address static, computer must be updated to show a Standard TCP/IP port with the IP address of printers under printer properties/Ports.

    1. Set a static in the printer IP address (click here) outside the range of the DHCP of the router (check your manual). It is for Linksys routers, but can be used for all routers. Check your DHCP range and change this first if necessary. 2. Or check in the printer "Auto Off/sleep/Energy Saving Mode" is disabled the System Mode Time Out is set to zero (0) Use the built-in webserver (EWS) by visiting the printer address IP address in the address bar of your browser, click on settings tab/Auto Off. Or use the printer, printer Home Page (EWS) Wizard. Also check your printer properties.
    3. If the printer supports and has IPv6 enabled, disable the IPv6 option in the printer.
    4. Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a socket wall and not to a UPS, power strip or a lightning arrestor. This will cause the printer to drop offline connection and disconnection (checked yes!).

  • HP officejet pro 8620: Officejet printer change ink

When I try to change the ink cartridges, they do not slide in the view when I open the door.  I can't find anything to solve this problem.  I tried to turn the market, re - and re - opened the door.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi Afechner,

You should probably contact the HP support since this sounds like a fault.   www.HP.com/contacthp/

The transport must move to the left to allow you to change the supplies when you open the access door.

If the printer can always pages, then you could try to change the power supply by unplugging it while it is in the middle of printing a page

If so, then try to print a page and before the page is finished printing, remove the plug from the wall socket.  The transport should stop somewhere in the middle and should be free to move.

If you can see the truck it should be possible to move it to the left to get to the offer change of position.  Is not blocked so don't try to force.  You will need to contact HP support.   www.HP.com/contacthp/

If you can replace supplies and then plug the printer back.  This can generate a bit of confusion in the printer, but he might start to initialize the new supplies. When the process has finished trying to access supplies by opening the access door.  If the transport does not feed change position, then you should probably call HP support.
