HP officejet pro 8620: Officejet printer change ink

When I try to change the ink cartridges, they do not slide in the view when I open the door.  I can't find anything to solve this problem.  I tried to turn the market, re - and re - opened the door.

You should probably contact the HP support since this sounds like a fault.   www.HP.com/contacthp/

The transport must move to the left to allow you to change the supplies when you open the access door.

If the printer can always pages, then you could try to change the power supply by unplugging it while it is in the middle of printing a page

If so, then try to print a page and before the page is finished printing, remove the plug from the wall socket.  The transport should stop somewhere in the middle and should be free to move.

  • OfficeJet pro 8620: Wireless officejet pro 8620 Bluetooth printing

    At work, I have a new HP officejet pro 8620 with wireless printing functions.  The office, with what I would use it is rather old and not compatible wireless outside the network working.  I bought a bluetooth device and installed on my desk, thinking I could get the printer to recognize this.  No go.  The printer (also installed on my desktop) recognizes the WiFi here but not the bluetooth on the desktop and is not on the same network as the desktop computer.

    The printer did not join the same network as the desktop computer.  The Office cannot access the network that can access the wireless printer.

    I thought (wrongly?) that the bluetooth device would work to create a network between these two singular.  Help?

    Is the printer close enough that you could connect with USB?  The 8620 Officejet Pro is not compatible Bluetooth.

    I would be more then happy to help you with regard to the analysis of the computer.  The program you are talking about seems much analysis of the HP.  The first thing I recommend is to search the Windows 8 for HP Scan computer.  The best way to do this is to open your Start Menu and start typing the HP scanning.  The computer will automatically find it and it should appear as the first option.  Open it and see if you can start a new search.

    If this does not happen and HP Scan is not the case in sight so I recommend you to uninstall the HP software. Once the uninstall is complete, it would be wise to perform a cleanup of the computer disk. A disk cleanup will improve the performance of the computer and remove the temporary files that may cause problems during the installation of the software. Once disk cleanup you must restart the computer and reinstall the HP software.  The software that you re - install will include scanning HP.

I get an error that says the difference in size of paper because even if I get a custom default to #10 envelopes paper size. Is it possible to substitute the paper size mismatch error printing anyway?

    The #9 envelope does not appear in the specifications for a type of paper supported.  Supported envelopes are #10, Monarch and 5.5 bars.

    After you download the plugin, make sure to enable it in your settings. Also try to use the hp eprint app to see if that helps.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8620: Auto prints Fax newspapers - when no Fax has been sent

    Several times now, my printer prints sheet Fax connects during the night.  I have not hooked to a phone line, or use the fax machine.  It prints 40 to 50 pages of newspapers only fax sheet at a time using usually upward all the paper in the tray.  It happens always in the night.  Is there some features need me to disable this option?  Any help is appreciated.

    I checked the manual, for this model I don't see anyway to change the fax log. You must manually select the menu to print it. I also checked our laboratory model and could not find the settings to disable this feature.

    I want to erase on the log of faxes, which should already be empty because the printer is not used for faxing.

    If you are setup for ePrint, it may be a sender who sends faxes over newspaper. To know for sure, I would say to set up the account to only allow that shippers. Go to hpconnected.com, click on devices, next to your name of the printer, select settings, then select admitted only shippers. (you can add senders individually) Test this out for a few days to see if it was the cause of this.

    I would say for updating the firmware of the printer, to see if that can help you if the problem persists. OJP8620_R1502A.zip

    I have problems with my 8620.  When printing, it starts then print environment, made a break of about 10-15 seconds, then continues to print, then paused before concluding.  It produced intermittently, but at least 80% of the time.  The size of the file is usually 1 pdf of the text.  I also run Quickbooks and it stops printing 1 check.   I have the normal print quality, the document on plain paper.  I have the printer plugged directly into a wall outlet, and there is no difference.

    I had HP Chat support watch and they have loaded different drivers, renamed 8620 drivers and that fixed the problem of the break, however, then, when I printed out the controls, the alignment of the page has 1/2 line and my checks were not print correctly.

    I uninstalled the drivers and returned to those that I got with the printer on the DVD.  That fixed the printing of cheque issue, but the printer still paused Mid-page print

    My problem has been resolved with the help of HP cat.  Rather than change the print settings, the person changed the port settings.  Everything works fine now.

    I want to help you with the message that you get on your HP printer officejet Pro 8620 e-all-in-one to connect to the server of ink instant.

    What it sounds like, is that there have been pages printed since the last printer connected to the HP Ink Server instant. If you cancel your account AFTER the last connection of the printer to the internet, the printer have no idea that the account has been canceled.
