  I have a printer HP Laserjet 4000 Series PCL5 TN which worked beautifully "black only" for many years.   Check also the update (KB number) has recently been installed on your computer.

  You can also restore printer drivers and check.

  To restore the driver, you can follow the steps below:

  • Press Windows + R on the desktop screen.
  • Type devmgmt.msc and press ENTER.
  • Expand the printer drivers and do a right-click on the driver and select Properties.
  • Go to the driver tab and click driver RollBack.

  Can I assume that you use a parallel cable to connect the printer to the computer.  If you do this is a known problem that can be solved.  Go to Device Manager and then click ports.  Double-click the lpt for the printer port, and then click on device settings at the top.  Change the default setting of the middle box checked in the box below to use any available interruption. I would also check the legacy down.  If necessary, turn the computer off and then turn it back on, but most of the time this solves the problem without a reboot.

• How to fix "Printer error state" when I try to print to the HP Laserjet 3030?

  Have not been able to find information on why my HP LaserJet 3030 printer cannot be used with the new computer from Samsung in Windows 8.  I chose driver for printer, but receive error messages - "Printer error state" or "Cannot find the output device" - when I try to print.  What can I do to fix this?

  See these same problem. Uninstall is just a miracle same problem will return. Looks like that happens at expiration, then the pop-up message. He wants to cancel printing. I just put and wait (X) the box pop up. Soon the print job comes into play. It is trouble of software product. Not HP readers or hp software. I tried may fix.   This problem may occur if one or more are true.

  • No more paper.
  • Print the door is open.
  • Course of Toner.
  • Paper Jam.
  • In offline mode.
  • Hot Bus error.

  I suggest you to follow the instructions below and check if it helps.

  1. Make sure that the HP printer cables are connected properly. If in doubt, turn the printer off, unplug the unit and unplug all cables from the printer. Plug it back and reconnect the cables. Turn the printer back on to see if the error is cleared.
  2. Check the HP printers cartridges and printheads to ensure that they are properly installed. See also if the cartridges are empty. If the ink cartridges have ink, reinstall the cartridges and print heads. If the cartridge is empty, replace it with a new one.
  3. Make sure that the HP printer software is installed correctly. If the device does not respond when you try to print or printing software will not initialize, uninstall and reinstall the HP printing software. Refer to HP Officejet Pro Full Feature software and driver.
  4. Clean and align the cartridges of printers. Open the software for your HP printer or HP solutions Center to access these features of maintenance.

• HP Deskjet 1010: HP Deskjet 1010 incomplete printing - best example - on Print & Scan Doctor

  On the test page for the doctor of printing & scanning HP, the text at the top is not readable, it's so light (a turquoise? color). Below the color test of the band on this page, on the edge of the test of the line, the lines are very light (light turquooise?) at the edge of the left and right margin.  (I'm not surré is something else isn't visible which should be.)  For print-out page alignment, all lines except two (series D and series I) are not printed as well as printed sheet is completely unnecessary to complete the answer to the question sheet.

  I had used (same model HP Deskjet 1010) until he developed the problem described above. Thinking it was a printer problem, I replaced the existing printer with a brand new HP Deskjet 1010 (same model), I bought for a long time as a backup replacement printer.  I found out even with the new printer, I had the same problem as the previous printer.

  (I also have a HP PSC that prints very well without any problem).

  Do you use the same cartridges for the printer on the other?

  I would try the steps listed in this document, they should help to solve this problem: the problems of quality Print to the HP Deskjet 1010 and series printer Deskjet Ink Advantage 1010

  My printer does not print.

  He said that it is in "a State of error."

  The blue light is on that indicates it is bound upward to wireless technology. When I click on the button live wireless it says on.

  It prints a copy of the end scanner.

  It allows to print test messages that says:

  No problems found.  Congratulations for the success put in place of your wireless printer.

  Wireless on - pass

  Wirelss work - Pass

  Signal - Excellent quality

  Connected - pass

  Network name - found pass

  Chanel - 11

  All this is pass.

  Current configuration:-connected to the Internet.

  I can't understand what is wrong with it!  It works as well, because I got it about 2 months ago.

  I wanted to respond to your message on the error state error message you notice about your envy 4507, to see if we can reach a resolution for you.

  You can make standard copies at the front of the printer, which does not imply the computer somehow. Because the working copies, the equipment is correct.

  You mentioned that you are also connected the printer to use wireless Direct, which means that the printer will not be able to print when you are connected to the internet, so this may be a problem.

  Maybe try disabling wireless live by accessing the Setup Menu or the Menu on your printer wireless. Turn on the printer and then connect the printer with the following instructions to connect to the wireless network.

  My printer was fine until 'Windows10 update 1607' has been downloaded on my desk a few days ago. Now every time I try to print anything for my computer. Status reports "error-printing".  I ran the trouble shooter print a test page, I printed a report of diagnosis of HP print and Scan doctor. Everything seems fine, but it always brings a printing error. So now I'm re-printing a document, it now says "printing" on the device, but it feels very, very slow, 10 minutes and it's still printing the first page. What can I do to fix this?

  I saw your post on the slow printing problem and wanted to do some of my own suggestions.

  You can try the following:

  1 reset the printer, then restart the computer. Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet.

  Turn on the printer.

  With the printer, unplug the power cord at the back of the unit.

  Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

  Wait at least 15 seconds.

  Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.

  Reconnect the power cord to the back of the unit.

  If the printer does not by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.

  2 run printing scanning and Dr.

  3 try to make copies to see if they are too slow. If they are, then it's showing us that there is a problem with the hardware with the printer.

  4. Uninstall and reinstall the printer driver and software.

• HP Deskjet 3840 series: printer fustration

  Last week tried to print something the printer from my mother and nothing printed.  I looked down the printer and the power light flashes, so I checked for sure if not a paper jam and that the paper had trained properly in the printer.  Checked everything ok.  Then went to the Control Panel on the computer and access the properties of the printer and checked to see if there was a problem with the printer.  The printer checked very well and when I went through the troubleshooting feature, it may not detect all problems.  I've also cancelled all print jobs that was sitting there waiting and attempted to restart the print job that I initially wanted to print.  Still nothing.  I even unplugged the printer for a whole 30 minutes and always the power LED flashes.  I even double checked the drivers to make sure that it was up to date, that he was and also double checked the connections to make sure they have been secured.  Yet, the power led still flashes and it won't print anything.  Just the week before I'm able to print several documents.   I've done everything I can think just short of uninstalling and reinstalling the printer, I did not because I think it would not really help this situation.  Can anyone offer help please?
