HP deskjet 3050 J610: printer connected to the router

How can I connect my printer to my router using an iPad. I downloaded the HP print remote app. I don't have access to the router so can not use the WPS button.

Hello

You may not use the iPad to connect your printer to the router. You cannot access your router, then most likely you can not connect. The router comes from your neighbor's House? You must Access the printer or at least you have a computer that is connected to this router. If you want to print, direct wireless can help:

Kind regards.

  • Example: Deskjet 3050 - J610: printer removes items in the print queue

Please see problem posted on June 9, 2016 and thread support. Sorry, I don't know how to go on this subject but the problem that I've marked as being solved is no longer is. It it is possible to mark as resolved and to reopen the thread please let me know how and I would be glade to do. Essentially sent items to the queue printing are deleted until they can print. They show in the print queue and then are marked "delete." I ran Print ahd doctor Scan of my desktop PC, and he says that everything is OK with the printer. I can see what the ink levels in the printer, and it printed on the printer succcessfully diagnostic information when asked to do so. I can see all of the information on the model of the printer, the serial number etc. so it seems that the PC can see the printer. But it will not print emails or Word documents - while he has done it before. Problem seems to have started when I tried to scan a document in and it would not. Printer is connected wireless and has an IP address, it doesn't seem to be the firewall attached - I disabled the Anti Virus software and it will not print. It runs the Windows firewall good that cause issues? I disabled that too, but it did not help. I followed the intstructions given by Gemini02 a HP Support Agent and it seemed to solve the problem but it only did it once and then continued to remove items from the print queue. I also tried to turn off the printer and then the PC, left for a while and then restarted them and that seemed to work. He already showed the printer as offline and printing and scanning doctor fixed that but when I ran it but still it only printed once and then returned to the deletion of items in the print queue. Grateful for any advice anyone can offer please.

  • HP Deskjet 3050 (J610) - can not find the claim code

I have a HP Deskjet 3050 J610 Series. I searched the support site of HP and may not know how to configure my ePrint printers. My ePrint printer turned on?

There is no instructions that correspond to my machine on this site:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03550536

I found a video on the "HP Deskjet 3050 a" but it was very different from the standard 3050. My printer is set up wireless and I am able to print from my Android smartphone, but only if I am connected to the same wireless network.

I have the impression that with a connected HP account and my claim Code printers, I can print from my smartphone using the Google Cloud from anywhere, I have access to the internet. I can't find my printers claim anywhere Code. I can print the HP Network Configuration Page in the menu on my printers Control Panel wireless, but it looks nothing like the page in the video.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello

The series HP Deskjet 3050 (J610) do not support the ePrint and therefore does not claim any code.

The printer Deskjet 3050 a Series (J611) supports such a, your printer is not.

You can view this document as a reference, the printer does not support Web Services and only allow printing via the local network:

  • HP Envy 4500: Printer connected to the router, but will not print wireless Macbook

I want my wireless printer to work on my macbook, but I can't. I tried setting up on the HP utility to connect with the router as the mac and printer on but it does not work! It indicates that the download was successful, but the device was not reachable. I don't really know where to go from here and any help would be really appreciated. Thank you.

    Hey @miriamnimmo,

Welcome to the Forums of HP, I would be happy to help you! I understand that you have the printer set up on your network, but the software says that the device is not accessible. Sometimes the IPv6 may interfere with the connection, and I suggest we disable that before anything else. On the fornt of the printer Panel, scroll down to and then select Wireless. In the wireless Menu, select Advanced settings, then IPv6 and.

Now we are going to let the router and unplug the power cable (NOTE: do not reset the router), then do the same with the printer and shut down the computer. After a minute, plug in the router, wait to fully turn on, then plug the printer back in and wait for the wireless light become solid. Once the router and the printer are on, go ahead and re - turn on the computer. This will refresh the network connection.

Please let me know if this solves the problem by marking your post as solved (click on Accept as Solution button below). If the problem persists, let me know, I'll watch for your reply.

    See you soon!

  • Configuring the network for windows7 and computers portable XP with printer connected to the router

Computer laptop windows 7 works with the printer lexmark that is connected to the router, but the laptop XP who worked with the printer can't find using the "add a Printer Wizard. Two portable computers connect to the internet O K

Printers configured in this mode are better develop a fixed TCP/IP address.  Your printer manual should tell you how to do this.  In general, there is a 'Settings' menu on the printer where it can be defined.  The IP address should usually have the first three digits than other devices on the subnet (for home networks it would be something like 192.168.1.x) and the final number should be unique and apart from the DHCP numbers range that your router would normally assign (see the manual of your router).

  • HP 4500 g510n-z-printer connected to the router but not responding do not

    Hello

I got this printer (HP4500 G510n-z) for 3 years. This worked without any problem until I changed my router and installed a nas on the LAN Server.

Now the printer is connected via WIFI to router and is perfectly installed on computers connected to the router. But it does not work. I used HP Print-Scan doctor and he finds the device, but it was not connected. I tried to connect to the printer IP of all computers, but I have not received any response (using ping, it doesn't have 75% of the package). On the router configuration page, the printer is connected to the usual IP and on connected computers the TCP - IP is configured correctly.

I have tried everything and I managed only to reboot the router. But it did not last, each computer remains connected only until you restart the PC nex.

Sorry if I'm not too clear, please don't exitate ask for more details. Thanks for your help!

Replacement of your wireless router try now.

  • HP Deskjet 3050 - unable to connect to the WPA secure wireless network

    Hello

My first post here so please excuse any misstep on my part.  I bought this HP Deskjet 3050 a week ago and have since been war with it.  I would be really grateful if someone could possibly give advice on how I can solve this problem.

I am unable to connect the printer to my secure wireless network, even if the other computers, cell phones, etc. are connected without problem.  I tried WPA, WPA2 and WPA2-Mixed modes with the same failure security. Specifically, the 66% reached Connection Wizard, then displays the error that the wizard can not find/network printer.  If I disable the security, the printer connects very well.

I use a Linksys WRVS4400N router with firewall and associated firewall disabled settings.  The router broadcasts on 802. 11 g / N mixed mode.

I install the software provided on the CD for installation on a Windows XP SP3 System.  I confirmed that the PC and the printer are connected to the network are the same.

The issue as well, if you will allow me: I have not yet tried these drivers, but I see there are any updated drivers for the printer in date from 14/12/2010.  The release notes indicate the improvement of networks, but do not develop beyond that.  Does anyone know if there was a known problem with the connection to secure networks that has now been corrected?

Finally, just a note that I am partially blind and using a screen on all systems reader.  I'll try my best to be as helpful as I can to please forgive me if I can't find the settings, etc. on screen and sometimes need help for a little more detail.

Thanks in advance for your help, I really enjoyed.

    Have a nice day,

All the best for now and take care,

    Hussein.

It is not the fact that it is impossible, is the fact that this was not done, yet.

    Hello

first of all, my apologies for the delay getting back to you.  Poor health means that I had little time or want to do great thing on the side of the computer of htings.

In any case, I am please to say the problem with the HP 3050 failing to connect to my network is now resolved.  There seems to be a bug with the installer, and that seems to include the version the most recent publication Dec 2010.

To resolve this problem, I did the following:
    1. disable all security for the network options, so it's just an open network.
    2. connect the HP 3050 to the network by using the installation wizard. This time it connected OK for me.
    3. Locate the IP address of the printer.  I used the table of customer list accessed by my router interface. You may be able to get this through the printer on the menu screen, but as I am partially blind, it wasn't an option for me.
    4. Enter the control panel of the printer to http://ip.address.of.printer for example http://192.168.2.108
    5. under Advanced options, configure the network settings, including the password and the Security Protocol.  Don't forget to enter the SSID of the network exactly as it is configured on the router.
    6. apply settings, disconnect from the control panel of the printer.
7 log in the router configuration panel and re-apply the security options.  Make sure they match these match those entered for the printer.

I hope it will be useful to others in the same position.

    Thanks again for your time.

    Best,

    H.

  • HP Deskjet 3050 a Scanner connects to the laptop Toshiba

    Hello

I have problems with my printer HP Deskjet 3050 a scanner. I have a Toshiba laptop with Windows 7 64 bit. The HP Deskjet works very well with the impression, but the analysis option recently stopped working. The error message that appears repeatedly said: "connection error. The computer connection was lost.

I had no problem with scanning in the past, but this issue has occurred recently. I checked the option "Manage the computer analysis", and he said that the scanner has been activated. I tried to move the USB cord to different ports, but it did not work. I have the HP Deskjet printer is off and rebooted my laptop, but it didn't work. I tried the troubleshooting options available on this site, but it still does not work. I even tried the HP print and Scan doctor, but have not as well.

    Other options?

Try to Uninstall and reinstall the printer from a resentment of download of the software and drivers.  Maybe it's that the drivers are corrupt or confused and a unitall and reinstalling should solve this problem.  Let me know what happens.

  • 4580 all-in One Printer connects to the router

I get the following message when you use the HP printer installation disk that came with my 4580 all-in-one...

The PC and the printer are connected to different networks.  They must be connected to the same network.  This can occur when you use the manufacturer's default network (SSID) name...

She claims that my IP address do not match to the top on the same network, etc...

Is it possible that I can change this manuelly?

    I have a Linksys WRT610n wireless network

I'm not able to share the printer on the network as my household uses laptops...

I saw this problem coming before in the forum, but have yet to see someone with a real solution. I spent 3 hours on the phone with HP tech and even with a remote office, he could not remedy the situation... it was several months ago and I tried to do, but I can't ignore it any longer.

I'm on a WPA encryption... and isn't that although emissions of routwer in 2 widths of band... they have different names... casa big and jones...

    BUT! problem solved...

Just by chance I have reset the printer wireless settings by default and re-established the connection settings using printing software provided

Under the software disc menu, click 'Add a device', NOT 'reconfigure the network "... HP has done a terrible job in the description of these menu items when you hover over them... most people gloss over and click without even noticing the nuance of the topics...

Anyway after doing this it worked... I think that the problem occurred before because that my printer kept a previous router settings and software HP could not reconfigure the IP address of printers...

    (1) Remove HP printer in the menu printer on your PC

    (2) connect your printer via the usb port

    (3) Insert the disk, then go to add DEVICE

    (4) follow the instuction to add a WIRELESS NETWORK

    (5) it should see the printer in the search...

    (6) the rest is self explanitory after all that...

    (7) add other computers using the disc after that because the IP address settings will be defined and all additional computers must do is to install the drivers and locate the printer on the network...

All that and HP Tech couldn't do that for me, in 3 hours on the phone over the interfacing of remote desktop. So please add this to your ideas of troubleshooting for any future reference. Nevertheless, I love my products HP, we have 3 laptops and of course the printer.

  • Computer does not recognize 3050 HP printer ip if the router, computer and the printer off

Hi there @Bbandb , I hope you are well!

It seems that the printer is disconnected from the network when it is switched off. I would say that you are trying to assign a static IP address to the printer to help stabilize the connection. I hope that will prevent network disconnections!

Click here for help on the allocation of static IP address: printer does not maintain the wireless connection

  • HP deskjet 3050 j610: when I try to scan from my printer it will not connect

When I try to scan from my printer I get a message "Cannot find HP deskjet 3050 j610. But I can print from it and get data as ink tank printer. It started abruptly today. It worked OK until a few days ago.  The printer is connected by a USB cable. I tried the driver update and 'repair' menus via HP scanning problems without success.  If I press scan on the printer button it says "scan error. try to scan from computer', but that's what I usually do using the calculation icon in the menu START.

I solved the problem. The basic steps were (1) using the HP links to update my driver printer and research to find errors in the scanning program. (2) restart my computer and printer. After the first part, I didn't see any listed results. Normally I would have restarted the printer and the computer, but is afraid of losing my sites and the investigation, so I kept looking for the various comments.  I found a reference to this site in one of the post near mine for a #7520 device but cannot return immediately to give the author of the post. I think I sent him a response.

    http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00040499.

This site gives lots of tips for different situations and devices. I followed the advice that it applied to my computer and printer who ended with step 2 (I use a USB connection) and the scanner was working again.

  • DeskJet 3050 connects to the router.

I use a new HP Deskjet 3050 J610 out of the box (comes with a laptop purchase student a few years ago and was never used) with a MacBook Pro with OS X 10.9.1.  I configured the printer via a USB port by following the instructions and it worked well because the driver is preloaded in the latest version of Apple, but when I try to connect to my Belkin router the printer times out.  I ran the diagnostic page and the SSID names do not match.  I can't find a way to change the SSID the printer connect manually.  There is no HP folder on my computer that would normally House the printer configuration information.  I've looked through all the documentation on HP and can't find anything that tells me how to enter the establishment.  Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Found the answer in an answer to a question on the HP Deskjet 3054.  Worked for my system, too, so I'm running.
