HP Deskjet 3055A: connection Deskjet HP 3055 has to the University (eduroam) wifi network

Hi, I tried to connect the printer with the wifi of the University network. But on the results of the diagnosis, it is said that more than one access point/router wireless was found which corresponds to wireless network (SSID). The results of the diagnosis, it says "no filtering" FAIL. And the IP address, configuration source are "not applicable".

I can't even add "wireless printer" of the "control panel".

Could someone help me solve the problem please?

Kind regards

Ze

Hello

First the first place you need to talk to is the it Department at your Uni. And secondly I would normally not connect my printer to this environment, I'm not asking people to use my printer. You can try to connect directly or use USB.

I've set up another configuration of TCP/IP, but it does not connect. I need to access the 3 different machine networks. Any ideas?

    original title: alternate tcp/ip

If by "alternate TCP/IP configuration" you mean the settings on this screen--> http://tinyurl.com/42kbqqz, then, to quote Inigo Montoya, "you keep using that Word. I don't think it means what you think it means. »

The 'alternative' configuration settings tab, if you select "IP address private auto" (APIPA) or "specified user" is only used IF "obtain an IP address automatically" is set on the tab 'General' (http://tinyurl.com/8p9hn) AND the adapter cannot get an IP from a DHCP server.

Most cable networks use a DHCP server to automatically assign IP addresses.  In this case, just plug your Ethernet cable and you're automatically configured and connected.

If the problem is that your network requires a static IP address (that is, they use a DHCP server to automatically assign IP addresses), you will need a third-party network settings manager.  If you have an IBM (Lenovo) ThinkPad, you can use "Dial-up connections." I have deployed the ovules of Director 5.5 vcloud in my lab environment and watching videos. In the videos, the guy has deployed vcloud Director 1.5 eggs. I noticed that this homepage of vcloud Director 5.5 is not the option 'Add a network at an organization' as in vcloud Director 1.5.

Did remove this feature in 5.5. Then I thought that it could be controlled from within the Organization after you create it, but again once I created the Organization, there is no option to add a network to this organization? I'm playing something here? How can we tolerate that they are private, the administrator of the Organization to create a network that is using a NAT or directly connected to the external network on the fly and remove it once it is not necessary. I though that it was a feature of the vcloud Director.

I used the EGG apparatus, I have use the .bin file.

At the same time that you create a network Org inside the Org vDC going to just use the current network are entrusted to him.  Then, you make all your usual choices.  to do this, vDC display Org itself... go to list of org vDC in manage and monitor, and then double-click the VCC Org that you want to add a network.

VAPP networks work exactly the same, create you them at the time the vApp is created.  This will use the network pool that is currently assigned to the Org vDC when the TIME Gets deployed.

    Hello

Win 2000 has no internal support for the wireless.

In order to launch the wireless, you must use a wireless card that provides you with Wireless Manager and drivers for the card on Win 2000.

Once you have installed the drivers and the utility is launched, you should power set up the connection to the router wireless.

Start first with the security of the router, enable WEP, once you know that you can log in and access the Internet.

  • DeskJet 3055 has J11n: connect Deskjet 3055a J11n wireless network without PIN or WPSA and with Mac Mavericks

    Hello

I run a Mac with Yosemite and would like to add the printer Hp Deskjet 3055a J11n for the wireless network.

My router doesn't have any a WPSA button and not a PIN code.

Before, when I used Mac OS 10.6, I could run the features of the CD that came with the Hp Printer.

When I try to open the Setup from the CD on Yosemite, he says 'cannot open only on Mac 10.6.

How can I connect the printer to my wireless network?

    Thank you!!

    Marjolein

    Hi @MarjoleinPeters,

A driver full features for Yosemite is not available for your printer, or from the CD supplied with your printer from the HP website.  This document applies to the HP printers supported in versions of Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion), 10.8 (Mountain Lion), 10.6 (Snow Leopard), 10.9 (Mavericks), and 10.10 (Yosemite) who have only drivers available via Apple Software Update.

I can help you put the printer on your network wireless software. I use this method for iPads, iPhones and other devices that have no software.

    1. Restore default network settings on the printer by pressing the wireless button, by going to settings and then restore the default settings. The wireless button should then start flashing, this means that it is now in auto wireless mode.
    2. To connect to the network that broadcasts the printer. It is usually HP-setup-3050 has and then a part of the MAC address. Always wireless light will blink on the printer at this stage, which is normal since it is not a real ad-hoc connection.
    3. Load up the built-in webserver (EWS) in the browser of your mobile device. For automatic wireless default IP address is 192.168.223.1.
    4. Go to the tab network along the top of the SAP.
    5. Click Setup Wizard along on the left hand side to begin to set up the printer wireless.

You have now completed the configuration of wireless network, follow the next 3 steps to start printing.

    1. Blue wireless light will be solid, put the Mac on your network.
    2. Add the printer in system preferences.
    3. Print

Please let me know if that solves the problem. I look forward to hear from you.

  • HP Deskjet 3055 has the Macbook Air without wifi connection

To make the HP Deskjet 3055 has for my son for the University.  They use an Ethernet connection over wifi and so it would probably be to connect your Mac to the printer using the USB cable instead. Hello

That is right.  The printer does support wireless or USB and not wired Ethernet.  The cable comes in the box.

  • HP Deskjet 3055 has. Unable to see the balance of the ink in the cartridges

I have HP Deskjet 3055 has (3050 all-in-One series of J611). So far, when I clicked on the HP icon on my desktop I have learned how much ink is left in my cartridges. Now I can't learn this - all I can learn from the icon is the current position of any current print job. Also, I used to be able to order the new printing caridges via my HP icon - I think that it is now not possible. What is the answer. I had thought to unplug the printer and then reinsert new with the original CD. This seems a radical step but is it the solution?

    Hello pm1810,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand that you are unable to see the ink levels using the HP icon on your desktop. I will do my best to help you! What is your operating system on your computer? Click here to read: Windows.

When you click on the HP icon on your desktop, is it called the wizard of the printer? How is the printer connected? USB or wireless?

If you are referring to the Printer Wizard and you are unable to access to the 'estimated ink levels' and a 'supplies shop online', then I recommend you to uninstall the software:

Please follow this HP document uninstalling the software of the printer. (If this printer is connected by a USB cable, then disconnect the power cord from your computer.) Be sure to choose your appropriate operating system. Then, please clean the Temp folder on your computer. I'll give you a document here to help you.

Now, install the full features on the site of HP software here. Choose your appropriate operating system. If you are still having the same problem, could you please send a page on this post.

Impatience on your part have a beautiful day!

  • HP Deskjet 2540 all-in-one: printer stopped connecting to the wifi network

Hi, my printer has suddenly stopped detecting my wireless network. When I turn on the printer, wireless blue light continues to blink and there is an exclamation point on the screen of the printer. I still have the same wifi network as before and have not changed it or its parameters. I have not physically moved the printer and the wireless works fine for all computers, iPads, and phones.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall the HP Utility Set Up software but it couldn't detect the printer to set up.  I also tried running the diagnostic results, but all the results, said 'Not work', 'Not applicable' or 'None'. I can't even an IP address for my printer.

My laptop can detect the printer if I turn on the wireless Direct button and I connect to this network on my laptop, but that's all. I'd rather connect the printer to the wifi so I can print from all my devices (phone, iPad etc.). The printer is less than 6 months and I do not understand what is the problem with him. Can you please specify?

    Hey @Sue1990,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I hope you enjoy your stay here.

I understand that the all-in-one printer Deskjet 2540 does not connect to your wireless network. I can help you with that.

To connect the printer to your network again you will need to run the USB cable from the printer to your computer Mac OS x 10.7. This makes the open Applications, Hewlett-Packard and inside this folder you will find a program with a similar name to the installation wizard. If you run this program, then you will find options to connect your printer to your wireless network.

Please let me know how it works for you and let me know if you have any questions.

    Have a wonderful evening!

    Hello Odbod22

By turning the printer power switch will usually change the IP address, unless make you it static or unchangable. The reason for routers use a protocol called DHCP that tells it how to distribute IP addresses. So, it is not uncommon that address to change. To avoid this, you must assign a static IP address on the printer.

To do so follow the link below and search for "Step 6" how to set a static IP address.
