HP Elite m9150f - signal VGA No.

Member of the family has a HP Elite m9150f with motherboard chipset Intel G33 Asus IPIBL-LB, vidio integrated Nvidia 8500 GT and HP W1907 LCD Monitor processor.  The monitor has always been connec ted to the PC DVI port via the VGA - DVI adapter.  Recently, the monitor is connected to the VGA port at the bottom right of the computer to set up a configuration dual monitor.  After connecting and turning on the PC, the monitor displays message "Input No. - No. DVI input VGA".  Installed the latest drivers after the "No Input" message and the same result (No. Input).  Only the VGA in the BIOS but not active?  The VGA is hung at all?  There are several exits of the 8500 GT (DVI, HDMI, S-Vidio).  Is it possible to use two of the above ports, DVI and HDMI?  I have a desktop HP Pavilion Slimline s5657c with ATI Radeon HD PC and run to the harbour VGA and DVI monitor / TV without problem.  Any help to solve this problem will be apreaciated.

Hello

The edge video port is disabled by the bios when a video card is installed.  HP black caps video edge port when the PC comes with a video card to avoid confusion.

The HP M9150f has an Intel GMA graphics card not a video processor NVIDIA 8500 GT.  The 8500 GT from NVIDIA would be a discrete video card.  He's probably as you mentioned three ports: s-video, HDMI and DVI.  DVI port is probably DVI - I dual link.

You should be able to get the DVI and HDMI ports for two monitors.  A right DVI cable to the HP w1907 is the best connection.

What kind of other port does your monitor support? (DVI, HDMI, VGA)?

    Hello cello6996

You are in warranty? If so, I would suggest contacting HP. If you are out of warranty, follow the steps below.

How does a power button is essentially that it shorts two special pins. This short film is a signal to the power on the power supply and all components. A quick Google search reveals the most common method to do this is to disconnect the wires to the pins on the motherboard power button and then tap a screwdriver against just these two pins. Use gloves as a precaution. or a screwdriver with an insulated handle.

If the computer starts correctly something wrong with the power button. If the problem persists, it is more than likely a problem with one of the hardware components and the problem will have to be isolated further. Let me know what happens.

  • Adding a 3rd HARD drive to my Pavilion elite m9150f

I have a Pavilion Elite m9150f with a motherboard Asus IPIBL-LB. I have 6 sata ports, but only 4 are currently used. It has Vista Home Premium 32-bit running 2 HARD sata drive seagate 360 with a partion recovery and 2 CD/DVD players. I would add a Seagate 2 TB sata as main drive (C) both a bigger partion (posibly update of OS in the future) 20 to 25 GB for recovery (D) copied to starting from the origanal and reformat it as a temp for videos, etc. I can do this by moving the SATAS after the cloneing and move the optical drives and see MOBO them without having to make all kinds of changes to the BIOS. Thanks for any advice in doing so.

    Hello

If you have already two drives hard and two optical drives, then you will have a hard time to find a place inside the PC to secure the third hard disk.

You could try to use a 5.25 "to 3.5 adapter railsand then fix them and the hard drive down inside the PC. Another option would be to expand the two ports of the vacant motherboard to the I/O back plateand use a drive external eSATA dockthat could accommodate two hard disks that are either 2.5 "or 3.5" or a combination. That would give you great flexibility for the exchange of different hard drives while appearing that they are installed in their own country.

You should be able to use a hard drive imaging product to the new hard drive the current boot drive. If you use VISTA then I would avoid using a disc hard format model advanced unless you know for sure that the disc produced Imaging align correctly partitions. In any case, if you use VISTA then upgrade to service pack 2 and run this update Intel utility before you install the new hard drive. Utility update driver Intel Intel Driver Update Utility level Bios 5.43is the latest bios for your PC.

I use Paragon Hard Disk Manager Suite(eval copy) to make the imagery of my hard drive, but there are other products available. Macrium Reflectand Acronis are also good products.

  • Cable DVI signal VGA No.

At startup I get a box in the middle of the screen (check the DVI cable), another is (signal VGA No.) I can only boot into safe mode. Help, please

Unfortunately, some of these viruses are smart and made copies of themselves in the system restore files so full backup on an external hard drive or a drive, that's what I would recommend if the problem is not resolved by using the method of system restore.

I guess that you do not have a disc in which case you can order Windows 8 upgrade for $ 70 and make formatting and install if your system supported for as little as 70 dollars on newegg but you will probably not like the user interface.
Just search for Windows XP, 7 or 8 online at Newegg or Amazon and figure on the operating system that you want that supports your needs of material systems.
Unfortunately, XP or Vista will be difficult to find because Microsoft will reduce the support very soon.

I have a hp 2310ti monitor. And I did have a problem with dvi no signal and vga active. I use the monitor vga cable vga for computer with dvi - a connector? Is there a problem with the cable?

  • VGA no signal

What does say when I get the message that says "No VGA Signal"?  Do I need to replace something?

This means that the monitor is not getting a signal VGA (blue analog video cable) to the computer. It's normal if you use other such (white) DVI video cables and cables HDMI (black). In this case, VGA is not active.

I would check the video cable from the Tower of the pc to the monitor. If it's the blue VGA cable then make sure it is connected properly at both ends.

You get no matter what video display when you turn on the lcd screen and the pc?

  • No input vga no signal dvi or

I just bought a custom built Gamining PC. Every now and then when I start the pc I get the message "' NO signal vga input / no monitor DVI input signal go to sleep" I turn off the pc and wait a few minutes and then try to start the pc again. " After about 3 to 4 times to go through who / pc boots fine and desktop is displayed on the monitor.  So, what could be my problem?  It sounds as if there is a problem with my video card?

    TlWilliams,
Thank you for visiting the Microsoft Answers community forum.

Yes, that sounds like a video card problem.  Or it could just be a cable or in bulk.  Check the cable that goes from the video card to the monitor to make sure you it is connected at both ends, try change if it is editable, turn off your computer and reinstall your video card (take out and put back) If you are comfortable doing this, or contact who built to allow you to take a look.

  • HP Elite L2201X

We got 5 HP Elite L2201X screens vga - display port adapters and cables vga 1 meter.

When you connect all upward, the computer will detect another monitor and you can configure the parameters of 2 monitors, expand the office and resolution etc.. No matter how we try we can never obtain an image to display on the screen.

the front LED light is still orange. If you power on and off, the LED turns orange then white.

We tried different computers, screens, vga, combinations of vga cable adapters, we get the same result evertime. We do not have a computer with a display port, so we cannot test the display port to display the port option.

All windows computers 7, all computers use the VGA output with vga, display port adapter. Each computer detects the monitor but nothing shows an image.

VGA is analog, the dp is digital - it will be difficult to find a converter for it.
Even from DVI / dp, you need something like this:
    http://EU.StarTech.com/AV/converters/video/HDMI-or-DVI-to-DisplayPort-active-converter~HDMI2DP
Your card will not work as the other sense, and only if the source can provide signals analog vga.

You will need to buy a graphics card with dp for this race.

  • Pavilion 500-070: VGA port broken on HP Paviliion

Recently, I had planned to put a few new parts (PSU, processor, graphics card) in my PC. I opened the folder to clean some dust out with compressed air. I closed it and I have no signal VGA connection to my monitor. I opened the box and messed with the port from the inside until it worked. A little later, the start of the port does not again and my previous dose did not. I tried the cable VGA and monitor with another computer, so I know they work.

Anyway, the VGA port on the back is damaged and it does not work. I called HP and because my computer is no longer under warranty, they said it will take more than $300 to fix and I'm not so interested in this possibility.

My question is whether, since I already ordered a graphics card, if I install a new graphics card, I will be able to connect the monitor directly into the card and be able to use my computer like this? Or is there an option that I need to be able to navigate? If it's the latter, I'll have to fix it or get a new motherboard.

I know that my computer is a bit old and I'm a little new to this, but any help is greatly appreciated!

    Thank you!<>

Enter the system BIOS/UEFI parameters by repeatedly tapping on F10 key when starting upwards. In some cases, you will have to type the ESC key to access the boot menu, THEN press the F10 key.

I say you may need to disable the onboard graphics in the BIOS as BIOS may already be set to 'Auto' mode which automatically detects which graphics connector is being used and automatically use this adapter. But if it is specifically set to "integrated graphics", you will need to change it to 'Auto' or 'PCI-e '. I can't give you specific shows once you are in the BIOS, because the BIOS interfaces can vary considerably. But you should be able to navigate through the different sections and find the graphics settings, it is not so difficult. You can visit the BIOS settings before you make your purchase just to be sure that you are convinced that you will find the necessary parameters. Or, you can install the card and see how it goes, if you do not get a screen so you know that you should disable the graphic edge.

Another consideration is that you have only a 300W power supply which probably is not a PCI-e power connector. The PCI-e slot itself provides only 75W so I would limit your new card to 75W or less.

Still another consideration is that you will probably need to disable "Secure Boot"in the BIOS also.

IMHO, I think that replacing the motherboard would be unaffordable.

  • RAM Error Code: BIOME-1

My wife HP Pavilion Elite m9150f desktop PC had problems, so I ran the Diagnostics.  He said that memory does not have, so I re-sat 4 chips and re-directed diagnostics.  This time I got "error Code: BIOME-1", but could not find a definition anywhere on HP - does anyone know what this means?

    Thank you

    Frank

4 memory modules were a couple - slot 1 contained a 1 GB module, slot 2 contained a module of 512 MB. slot 3 contained a module of 1 GB and slot 4 contained a module of 512 MB.  I removed the module in slot 1 and revived the base memory test and got the same error.  After removing the module slot 2 (location 1 remained outside) and rerun the test, it came back normal.  I put the module 1 GB back to location 1 (so now we have 1 GB in slot 1, 1 GB in slot 3 and 512 MB in the 4 Groove) and revived the memory test - it came back normal.

So I replace the 512 MB module and the PC should be back in 3 GB of RAM.

I still don't understand why the explanation has been found somewhere in HP.COM!

  • How to connect Equium A100-306 to HDTV?

    Hello

I was wondering if it was possible to connect my Equium A100-306 to my HDTV using a VGA cable component? The laptop has the chipset intel 945g.

    Thank you.

    Hello

You cannot convert only a RGB (VGA) signal to component (Y-Pr-Pb), since you will need a converter that transforms the signal vga to this component.

Which means that you also a converter for cable that could be very expensive. But if you've got components that you should be able to display an image on a device that has entry components. Don t think you will be able to run the HD-ready or full HD on a HD TV, since a HD signal requires an HD port on your computer and a disk hard taking supported system with better graphics chip and then a chipset intel.

    Welcome them

  • How to connect my Satellite L300 to TV?

    Hello...

    I have a Toshiba Satellite L300 - 2 4 and want to connect my Toshiba 32HV10E plazma

The tv has a hdmi input, so I bought VGA adapter and connect it to the computer

    Unfortunately, it does not work.
The computer recognizes the TV, but not the same with the plazma

    Anyone?

Eventually he s a problem HDMI VGA adapter.
The point is that you cannot convert the analog signal into a digital signal (VGA to HDMI)
You can convert digital to analog (VGA/HDMI)

As far as I know the TV supports a component port.
So, try using a VGA adapter - component cable.
