Cable DVI signal VGA No.

At startup I get a box in the middle of the screen (check the DVI cable), another is (signal VGA No.) I can only boot into safe mode. Help, please

Unfortunately, some of these viruses are smart and made copies of themselves in the system restore files so full backup on an external hard drive or a drive, that's what I would recommend if the problem is not resolved by using the method of system restore.

I guess that you do not have a disc in which case you can order Windows 8 upgrade for $ 70 and make formatting and install if your system supported for as little as 70 dollars on newegg but you will probably not like the user interface.
Just search for Windows XP, 7 or 8 online at Newegg or Amazon and figure on the operating system that you want that supports your needs of material systems.
Unfortunately, XP or Vista will be difficult to find because Microsoft will reduce the support very soon.

My HP LP2275w monitor does not display "DVI signal" when connected with a DVI cable (supplied), but when it is connected via a VGA cable and adapter DVI/VGA (both supplied) it works but no BIOS screen. It begins immediately with the logo of the VICTORY.

I just bought new HP Pavilion 500-158eg, Intel Core i5-4440, with AMD Radeon HD8570, 2GB processor, running on WIN7 Pro 64 b. VGA and another port of the motherboard are initially blocked so I can connect the monitor only via the output HDMI or DVI on the graphics card.

I should note that on my old machine without a name with the graphic upgrade ATI Radeon, there is no problem and I used the same cable. There was an electric shock that causes the collapse of the motherboard so I can't even re - check on the old machine. I can't verify if there is a problem with the DVI cable because all laptops in our housing have only the VGA output...

  • Persistent problem - monitor loses input DVI Signal then recovers

No, DVI is has nothing to do with your broadband - it's video cable between your PC and your monitor.

What is the brand and model of your graphics card?

Try to uninstall then reinstall the drivers of your graphics.

  • C60 DVI input 3 Auto Detect using a DVI to VGA splitter

    Hello

We install a codec C60 using a splitter DVI input n ° 3 for the presentation source (DVI - I male to DVI - D & VGA Splitter cable's female adapter)

The DVI input source is configured as Auto-Detect.  Administrator's Guide confirms this seting automatically detects the signal is analog (VGA) or digital (DVI or HDMI).

The problem is the codec can't really switch from one source to another.   We do not seek to send two signals at once, but rather stable wether VGA and HMDI will be detected by the codec according to the entry sends the laptop.

can anyone confirm if this is a limitation of the codec, or bug in firmware or even simply impossible without adding additional hardware.

    see you soon,

    Hello

    Yes, auto-detection works for me.

  • HP Elite m9150f - signal VGA No.

Member of the family has a HP Elite m9150f with motherboard chipset Intel G33 Asus IPIBL-LB, vidio integrated Nvidia 8500 GT and HP W1907 LCD Monitor processor.  The monitor has always been connec ted to the PC DVI port via the VGA - DVI adapter.  Recently, the monitor is connected to the VGA port at the bottom right of the computer to set up a configuration dual monitor.  After connecting and turning on the PC, the monitor displays message "Input No. - No. DVI input VGA".  Installed the latest drivers after the "No Input" message and the same result (No. Input).  Only the VGA in the BIOS but not active?  The VGA is hung at all?  There are several exits of the 8500 GT (DVI, HDMI, S-Vidio).  Is it possible to use two of the above ports, DVI and HDMI?  I have a desktop HP Pavilion Slimline s5657c with ATI Radeon HD PC and run to the harbour VGA and DVI monitor / TV without problem.  Any help to solve this problem will be apreaciated.

    Hello

The edge video port is disabled by the bios when a video card is installed.  HP black caps video edge port when the PC comes with a video card to avoid confusion.

The HP M9150f has an Intel GMA graphics card not a video processor NVIDIA 8500 GT.  The 8500 GT from NVIDIA would be a discrete video card.  He's probably as you mentioned three ports: s-video, HDMI and DVI.  DVI port is probably DVI - I dual link.

You should be able to get the DVI and HDMI ports for two monitors.  A right DVI cable to the HP w1907 is the best connection.

What kind of other port does your monitor support? (DVI, HDMI, VGA)?

  • Impossible to use the DVI - D port with cable DVI - D Pav 500-100 a to HP W2207 monitor

I got a formwork of cable DVD, but it's a DVI-I have the cable.  It took 5 minutes before windows comes up and then whenever the background picture changed in the theme which he suspended for a few seconds.  I read that I have a DVD-D need cable which i purchasd today.

The package says it's a CL-DVI2M - DVI M/M 24 + 1 CABLE 2 M.  The tech in the store said that it is a good calbe and works perfectly.

When connected and power until I get the hp and rolling points logo, then it turns off.

I reconnect the cable VGA and all its beautiful - using the VGA to DVI.

I ran msconfig and turned from secure boot - restarts and comes well in safe mode.  I set the resolution of 1280 x 800 and rebooted and reconnected the cable DVI - Virgin again.

If I put the cable VGA back inside fine boots.  The monitor was given factory and seens the DVI connection but Windows remains empty. Also tried to start first with no cable - connect the DVI and the monitor remains in sleep - be able to reset the monitor and still a Virgin is also no connection DVO.

    Pls help - Steve

Although I am an employee of HP, I speak for myself and not for HP.

Yes, I rasthaus the monitor and cable of my older Compaq running xp and all fine on DVI.  The monitor and cable are fine.

Since then, I've had a product in Australia specialist help.  Tried all the previous things, then initially went to check if the person had been doing the right thing - connected the VGA monitor with the supplied adapter DVI-d port - which has always worked well.

Went to Device Manager o and removed the video card adapter. Powered off and then attached the monitor directly with DVI and it started late! Drviers reinstalled and updated and now I have nice crisp clear video appears.

Something of the support person should apparently have - insead has asked me to wipe the hard drive and restore the factory system, replace the cables, buy a new monitor... was even asked to leave VGA mode and do not use DVI!

Thank you for your help, Dave, its good to know that you are around to help us.

  • W540 - display resolution double screen with cable DVI - D Dual Link

I recently bought a W540 and connected to my Dell u3011 30 "monitor. I used the Dual Link cable DVI - D that came with the monitor and connected on my Dock Ultra. The maximum resolution I can get is 1920 x 1080? When I pass a display port cable I can achieve complete resolution of 2560 x 1600? Is there something I need to do to get the complete resolution of 2560 x 1600 with dual link DVI - D cable? I want to be able to connect 2 laptops to a normal screen and 1 entrance to port the screen so I need to be able to use the DVI cable on the 2nd machine while allowing resolution 2560 x 1600.

Port DVI - D on the Ultradock is single link only.

If you need DVI - D with double bond (i.e. 2560 x 1600) resolution, you need an active displayport to dual binding converter. StarTech makes, they should be about 80 USD or something in this region.

  • U2414H DVI and VGA

    Hello

My graphics card has only Hdmi, DVI and VGA ports, and I just bought 2 U2414H.

As I knew that they have no VGA and DVI ports, I also bought adapters.

Anyway, I can't get it to work. The graphics card does not recognize via VGA or DVI monitors. He does it with the Hdmi interface.

Is there something that I'm not taking into account, or set up correctly?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

DVI cannot convert to monitor the RFP, so no, it won't work.

  • No DVI signal

I have a new HP Pavilion Slimline s5-1126 running 64-bit Windows 7 Edition Home Premium.  My graphics card is an AMD Radeon HD 6410D and my monitor is a S201HL of Acer.

When I connect the monitor to the computer with the DVI cable, I don't get no signal and the monitor remains in "standby mode".  Using the VGA cable, the monitor works fine.  With the monitor and DVI cable connected to another computer, the screen works.

My question is: do I have to change a setting in the BIOS or Windows to enable the DVI port or it's probably defective?  I hope that the problem can be solved without returning the computer to the store.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Tom

    Hanspuppa,

Thanks for the suggestion.  I have reinstall the driver, but now I get DVI video at a resolution of 640 x 480 only.  The monitor supports 1600 x 900.  I contacted HP support and they say that it's a known problem with the DVI output on my computer model and send it to the service.  I Exchange it at the store instead.

    Best wishes

  • Satellite A205: Dynadock - how to connect to LCD TV with HDMI Cable DVI

I recently bought this product and had a problem when connecting it to my LCD TV.
I used an HDMI cable to DVI to connect to the TV. Only a small part of the display shows on the TV.

I did all the settings on the laptop (Satellite A205) but it adjusts only the laptop screen, not TV.
I also used VGA adapter, connected to the entrance of the computer to the TV, same effect. Can I use VGA output on the side of the laptop to TV ok.

Any ideas on how to adjust output dynadock parameters?

First of all, it would be interesting to know what dynadock you exactly; a DVI or a VGA port?

    > I did all the settings on the laptop (Satellite A205) but it adjusts only the laptop screen, not TV.

You should know that the dynadock has an own integrated graphics controller and video drivers to control the video stream.
Therefore, you should change the settings directly in the settings dynadock and not on the laptop!

  • The DVI and VGA outputs are contradictory

    Output:

    VGA for monitor

    DVI to TV

Monitor works fine until the DVI cable is connected, then you lose image on the screen and it goes to peak w/out office icons.

    That's what I call starnge!

Try disconnecting the VGA monitor and plug only the DVI to HDTV. What is displayed on the screen?

Lose the image of the screen on the monitor when HDTV is connected should not happen. The image of the bureau only with no icons on the HDTV, indicates that HDTV displays an "extended desktop".

As already said, try to update the driver AMD Radeon HD 4000 Series.
