    When I upgraded to Windows 10 I lost my icon and the ability to scan from my HP computer on my printer HP Envy 5530 wireless. I'm unable to scan from Windows Fax and Scan. I downloaded the latest driver and software from HP. I have uninstalled and installed the software nothing works. Help, please.

    I tested the feature. I have two HP printers and both work with my laptop. I can finally print with my office on my printer HP Envy 4500 (many uninstalls and reinstalls the software.)

    I used the wizard install HP for Windows, but my success was when I found the original installation disc.

    I use McAfee and have disabled and enabled it to the left. I ran doctor Scan and print and it on Rota software I had and "installed a later version" that has not worked. I have therefore re-installed using my original installation disc.

    My basic problem was that I could not scan. I can print but the HP 4500 Printer Wizard Envy series using I get that 'the envy of HP 4500 series is not found'. I tried to unplug the router and switch on the computer and the printer.

    I installed an HP AiO Printer Remote App and I can print it from there, and I AM ABLE to SCAN now with this app.

    Hello

    There are two options available.

    1. You can order a set of replacement of the recovery media using the link below - it will reinstall the operating system, all the drivers, and almost all of the original software (the exception being often tests of MS Office).  They will also recreate all of the original scores, including the recovery Partition.

    Order HP recovery disks.

    1. Download the file to Image of Windows 8 on the following link - Note that this Image file is subject to a ceiling of download, you may need to try over a period of a few hours before the download starts correctly.

    https://docs.Google.com/file/d/0B0W9PBigPy94aVJWSndyTFNFMzg/edit?PLI=1

    If you need a utility to create a flashdrive bootable for this Image, try the free app below.

    http://Rufus.AKEO.IE/

    The product key for Windows 8 is encrypted in your bios chip and read automatically during installation.

    Software extra and you may need drivers are by entering your full model number or Nr here.

  • ENVY DV6-7203TU: I lost my original windows, how can I recover?

    Hello
    I bought the hp laptop with windows 8, ENVY DV6-7203TU original,.
    Recently, I had the problem of the usb, I went to the computer repair shop, he removed my original windows and reinstalled some windows 8.1.
    My original genuine windows was 8 which I later upgraded to windows 8.1 is deleted, I have a few new windows installed 8.1 now not on my name, he has also deleted my recovery partition, but somehow, I could find a screenshot of my old genuine cd key and my name on which it is registered.

    Now I have the cd - key,
    But when I try to install through windows 8/8.1 installation programs, it says bad cd - key for version retailer etc.

    Can someone help me please how can I reinstall my windows genuine 8, if I have the cd key, where can I download the installer of windows 8 oem? where my cd key is considered valid.

    Microsoft has a site where you can download the ISO of Win8.1 images - but it cannot be used for OEM versions - which is what you have.

    Any PC tech with an ounce of intelligence knows that an OEM machine comes preinstalled with an OEM version. So I should be surprised by the huge incompetence of the shop where they "fixed" your PC - but I'm not!  Seems these days, anyone who can be synonymous with PC can open a repair shop - and incalculable damage as a result.

    You have to contact HP for recovery media.  (Very likely), you will have to pay for it, and it is usually about $30 USD - but yours could be different.

    You then starts from (it's probably a DVD or several CDs) and will be reformatted your hard drive, and the operating system reinstalled from scratch with all HP programs and utilities.  Then, you should see what you can do on the registration files and valuable data before you for the restoration.

  • My lost envy 17

    Hi guys, I lost my desire to hp 17 last December on the bus in Manchester and the guy who found it came to Knokke to my door to give me back, what could I do to protect or find it in case it happens again? Thank you

    Hello

    How lucky you are. There are 2 options: hardware and software for the hardware: use a mechanism that allows to keep safe or in your viewfinder. For the software, you can try a service called "anti-theft" as one of the following conditions:

    http://preyproject.com/

    (Note: I haven't used this software and do not know how good it is.) You can find many software/services around and you have to pay in many cases).

  • HP Envy 5530: After update the software hp, scan function lost 5530

    My HP 5530 all-in-one worked perfectly.  I have 10 Windows on my computer.

    After an automatic update of the software of HP printer, the icon to access the functions went on the desktop.  Currently, there is no way to access the functions of scanning.

    Printing again.

    The printer says diagnostic scanner is fine.  I can use some third-party products to get scanner, but they are not nearly as good as what I had before the update.  How to cancel it!

    Hello

    Thanks for the comments.

    Try this:

    Left click on start > applications > file HP > HP Envy 5660 > "More" > open file location > right click Copy > paste on the desktop

    It will begin as an Assistant to many HP printer and you can go to scan for your scanning needs.

  • values of the Spooky object! Help me im lost and stupid and then some... (not for the faint of heart)

    LS,

    This includes the code and some traces of output.

    I tried this for 2 days and it me stupifies.

    I'll elaborate:

    There is a game object, is an object of dictionary containing a screen/name of the index tile_x_y tile

    So I can look it up using x and y coords.

    Contains the object lost things, but in this particular case: x, y, width, height, xtile, ytile (explicit I guess) & xmove(1), ymove (-1.0.1 according to the)

    direction.)

    So, now that these objects move around the screen (Yes it's just a game) and check if they hit the limits of the screen and if they try to pass on the tiles that are busy/no

    traversable.

    It goes very well for most but sometimes objects, or for some objects (no idea why and it changes when you restart), halfway to check limits, internal object x and y

    values go ballistic and I find myself with a reference to the Dictionary object error because tile 30 280 just does not exist.

    What happens is the following (in pseudocode, the actual code is shown below):

    For each object

    Testbounds (Object)

    end for

    Testbounds

    If diry = - 1 (high)

    If (checkbounds (up) == possible)

    change ob.x and ob.y //move coord

    on the other

    If (not possible at all)

    move to the edge of where it can go on the same tiles

    change ob.x, ob.y coord

    on the other

    move a bit in the other possible meanings

    change ob.x, ob.y

    end if

    end if

    end if

    ...

    ... make for y dir = 1, x = 1, x =-1

    ..

    convert new ob.x and ob.y to put the coords / / = divide x and y values by tilesize

    .. Search tile_x_y and see what it is

    BOOOM!     This is where the error occurs because half the x checkbounds and there, or value gets to large, by a factor of 10 if I read the traced output

    But why?

    theres no manipulation on the object in the testbounds function which could cause what I can say.

    But it's far enough because it happens

    Note: if I change the height value object and the width to a value less as divide by 4, that doesn't happen? then only the graphics overlap the not traversable

    graphic on-screen mc because effective width and height are 4 times bigger. Sorta, it spoils everything.

    So here is the plotted output (that's a lot, but I was sick of not finding the bug)

    I first cut out the part where he's going, enter the code that his execution at this time

    Below I have will all stick out of traces and more still of the surrounding code.

    In addition, given that you've read this far, thank you very much, you have my respect and grattitude.

    I'm ashamed to ask this, but ive been watching you for 2 days now and it illudes me. Also im getting blindness code so I don't see now if he was sitting in

    in front of me without a bra.

    Here it is:

    n.b.:!) 3840 = (408-24) * 10 (which is x coord-half the tilesize) just does not know where the * 10 comes?

    Executed CODE between these lines of trace:

    trace ("2bndtmovenpc, ob.clip.name, ob.x, ob.y, ob.xtile, ob.ytile, tilesize, movespeed, ob.width, ob.height, dirx, diry:", ob.clip.name,)

    OB.x, ob.y, ob.xtile, ob.ytile, TileSize, movespeed, ob.width, ob.height, dirx, diry);

    } else
    {
    If ((! ob.downleft & &! ob.downright))
    {
    OB.y = (ob.ytile + 1) * tilesize - ob.height;
    }

    trace ("2cndtmovenpc, ob.clip.name, ob.x, ob.y, ob.xtile, ob.ytile, tilesize, movespeed, ob.width, ob.height, dirx, diry:", ob.clip.name,)

    OB.x, ob.y, ob.xtile, ob.ytile, TileSize, movespeed, ob.width, ob.height, dirx, diry);

    END OF THE CODE

    so: it is located here-> ob.y = (ob.ytile + 1) * tilesize - ob.height;

    It can occur if: tilesize - height was somehow * large 10
    but looking at the trace values is not.

    again become a headache

    I solved it...

    A little

    It seems that something is wrong in the calculation... sometimes.

    Calculation, I discovered that the real end result is exactly the same as the previous x & values y

    If the whole line can be deleted. Solve the problem and save time cpu.

    Question remains how this error is possible.

    I'll repost ultra format short.

    Kind regards
