Hello

No, you won't find ever designed for your machine. Your machine does not docking port so you can use any USB port replicator. HP has products, the following is very popular

I am facing a problem with my usb ports on my HP Envy 15 1195eo. I tried a number of things to make them work, but nothing did. Basically, when I connect a usb device, it will connect, stay tuned for a very few seconds, then disconnect for a few seconds and then connect for a few seconds again, and he repeats like that of infinity. So I'd like prompting assistance works again!

    News of the computer:

    Model: HP Envy 15-1195eo

    OS: Windows 7 64-bit

    Hello again Unboxeremail.

That solves the problem at the origin?  This can be useful information.

I took a look inside the laptop and noticed three ports (2 ports standard right) USB and eSATA/USB port a combination on the left, what port is non-functional?  In addition, the image of the motherboard indicates that the USB ports are not on a panel separated from the motherboard so a connection problem is very unlikely here.

Do you have a multimeter?  Check the USB port to see if the connection is down at random would check it like a hardware problem.

If the problem persists after a new installation of Windows, then this indicates a hardware problem.  This laptop is guaranteed?  You can see here.  If it is under warranty, you should contact HP support and let them know about the issue. • HP ENVY 750se desktop PC: HP ENVY 750se Desktop PC HDMI in Ports

I recently bought a desktop PC HP ENVY 750se who has what I believe to be 2 HDMI in ports which do not seem to work and are not displayed in the "devices" list in the Device Manager. There is also a HDMI port output that works very well.

I was trying to connect a digital SLR camera to the HDMI in ports to capture live streams.

Also, I just checked the details of the product from the order and these HDMI in ports is there are not listed. Yet they are on the PC in an expansion slot.

    Help with this is appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hi there @ELCF,

I hope you find your experience of positive Support Forum!  I understand that you are looking for help with he HDMI ports on your system.  I'm happy to help you with this.

I suspect that the 2 HDMI ports which you are entered are actually two output ports associated with the onboard graphics, which could be disabled if another dedicated graphics card is installed.  Please see the following documents, in particular one for the motherboard: HP ENVY 750 - 170se computer CTO product specifications and configurable options, HP and Compaq Desktop PCs - specifications of the motherboard, Thimphu.

In the second document, if you look at the section entitled "I/o Ports and riders", you will find the following comment ' 4.HDMI: 2 - not activated when there is a graphics card installed.

Please let me know if explains what you see, and if it does not solve your problem, please mark this message as a solution. Bravo would be appreciated as well.

  • HP Envy X 2 cannot create com port error virtual 577

    Hi all

Reinstalled Windows 8 32-bit HP ENVY X 2 and updated all drivers (again).

Try to create the virtual com port with two different Xport and FransonGPSGate programs.

These programs normally create a virtual Com Port that can be used by e.g. two different programs of maritime navigation at the same time.

Xport responds: error code error Windows Xport pilot 577 from

Franson GPSgate responds: unable to create virtual serial ports

What is the solution for this problem?

Thanks in advance for your answer!

Learned a lot the last few weeks on Windows 8.

I will guide you to acquire the same knowledge for Xport and fully operational Maxsea

    First read: http://www.pcworld.com/article/2027593/windows-8-put-its-hidden-security-features-to-work-.html

You probably missed it but read what follows:

"Included in the UEFI is a feature called Secure Boot, which avoids unauthorized operating systems and malicious software from running at startup."

"Windows, you can type msinfo32 in the start menu search box or invites him to run it to find out the version of the BIOS.

    Within windows 8, I saw:

-A start secure ACER (old machine): unsupported

-To a HP Envy X 2 (new machine) Secure Boot: enabled.

Secure boot disabled in Envy of HP X 2 and

Xport and my older prog navigation are fully operational new.

  • HP DV6t (B6C70AV) ENVY: which is 3.o usb port in my book!

Hey, can you tell me which is port 3.o. Until you say check SS or 3.o brand (I've already strained me eye seeks not), he did not, so you can tell me if my laptop is bluetooth compatible? If you could provide the link of specification for my product, it would be great.

    Concerning

See pages 18 and 19 of the manual here for a diagram.

    Manual

The only usb port that isn't 3.0 is more backward on the right side next to the power adapter plug.

Yours is a CTO (Custom custom) model and may or may not have Bluetooth as it is configurable by the user and bluetooth would have been an added value option.

    Hello

I have a DV7 HP ENVY with 3 - USB 3.0 ports and 1 - USB 2.0 port. The USB 3.0 ports are working well but USB 2.0 does not work. When you plug a USB stick to the USB 2.0 port power led on the memory stick lights up but the led data is not. The computer does not at all to the inserted USB memory. The USB works fine in other 3.0 ports. I tried also to connect other USB devices, and it's the same thing. They work well on USB 3.0 ports, but nothing happens when you connect to a USB 2.0 port.

I was looking at the USB drivers in Device Manager and haven't noticed anything that seems strange.

I have run the system test diagnostic USB to start the system and got the following codes:

  • HP TouchSmart 600-1265qd does not connect to Samsung LED 55 '' TV via HDMI

HP TouchSmart 600-1265qd does not connect to Samsung LED 55 '' TV via HDMI. I have connected the same cable to your laptop and it connects, suggesting that there is a problem with the CV. The TouchSmart has a GeForce GT230 graphics controlled by the control panel NVIDIAnView. By using the system control panel and the control panel NVIDIAnView, I have not been able to locate the Samsung monitor.

I made restarts it etc. also without success. Does anyone have a suggestion that I could follow.

    Hello

It is a machine CTO, but have many models of the Touchsmart 600 HIMI IN port series, not OUT port so you can't connect to a TV using HDMI in order to get the picture on the TV.

  • FireWire expansion for Touchsmart 610 1130f

    Hello

I have a 610 1130f Touchsmart, I would install a firewire port. Motherboard card I see I have available pci expansion slots, also other posts, I think this pci card is the injector for installation (for the other model touchsmart at least)

    StarTech.com 2 Port 3 b 1 a 1394 Mini PCI Express FireWire adapter card

My question is, I am correct in my research this pci card will install on my system and if so where do the firewire install ports. It doesn't seem to be any on the body of office expansion slot (side or rear) am I missing something? or someone has one of these adapted? Thanks for all the answers in advance.

In theory, this card would allow your Touchsmart computer with Firewire ports. However, the card is really designed for a traditional desktop computer. The card would fit into the mini-map PCIe slot, and you would have to cut a hole in your case to get the ports on the outside. Also, the map seems to use a power plug style IDE to get power / extra power to your system and it does not appear to have. If you are comfortable to change and adapt your TouchSmart for such a facility, it should work.
