HP envy 5530: I can't scan and diagnosis stuck to WIA

I can't scan from the office or from the printer. The first part of the scan doctor who controls the connectivity is very good and that it performs system checks, it stops at the verification of WIA, and I just get a blue blinking cursor.

I understand that you notice a WIA issue when running the print and Scan of the doctorand for this purpose, leaving you with scanning problems.

If you have the printer connected to your network, try power cycling the network devices in the following order:

  1. Turn off the printer and the computer and unplug the router for 1 minute (do not press the buttons on the router).
  2. Plug the router back in and wait another minute, turn on the printer and the computer and try to scan the image of the printer and PC.
  • Make sure that the printer is plugged directly into the wall, avoiding bars power and surge protectors. This ensures that the printer is full on.

    Some info:

    I'm not sure if this is a permanent solution, but finally, I finally solved this problem.  I decided to first unplug and then plug in my router. Then I unregistered and registered with Windows 10, your previous recommendation. Then I started from scratch - unplugged everything related to the CFP and also deleted the previous PSC software installed on the computer. Then I plugged in the printer and re-downloaded software. Tested to request a scan of the PSC and it worked - double checked by stop and to remit all running and I tried to request a scan of the PSC again and it worked again. So, it seemed to be a combination of renewal with Windows 10 and setting up of the PSC from scratch, to solve this, at least for me. Thanks for your patience! I don't think something regarding my download Windows 10 had something to do with mess up the signal from the PSC to the computer and I had to put fresh once again.

    I see that you encounter some problems when trying to scan multiple pages into a single file. I did some research and I found a great Charter which will explain in detail How-to Scan: Windows 7.  Once you have the document open, please scroll down until you see the part dealing with the digitization of several pages in a single file.

    I have a macbook air and I wanted my hp 5530 for a few years and it has worked very well. Then I was unable to scan directly to my macbook, so I followed the instructions of troubleshooting - uninstalled the hp software and then re-installed. After the 3rd re - install, scan to computer worked for a day and now I can't do it again!

    I can't check the box 'Enable the scan of the computer' in the hp utility - WHY? Can someone help me please no copy and paste the instructions of troubleshooting, I read the already. What do I have to uninstall and reinstall again?

    The HP scanning application is not compatible with Sierra, so you may experience problems.
    Remove the HP scanning by moving it to the trash, then empty the trash.

    Instead install HP Easy Scan below, it will be installed in the Applications folder:

    If you experience additional problems, ensure that the latest version of the software is installed by following HP Easy Start below:

    Finally, make sure that your drivers are up-to-date by clicking the Apple icon, select about this Mac and then press on software update.
    Click on the Bank on the menu bar, click Reload Page, click all update if an update is available.

    I see you are having a connection to the server error when you use the Email scanning on your desire 5530 e - all - in - one printer. I can help you with that.

    To clear the error:

    1. On the printer, click web services icon in the upper left corner of the screen.
    2. Click on the gear.
    3. Click on delete Web Services.
    4. Click the web services.
    5. Click on Setup and Yes.

    At this point, you should be able to activate and use the Email scanning on your printer. Please let me know the results of the rest of the foregoing. If you can use the scan to e-mail, click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please post it by clicking the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

    I had my printer for a few months and have had no problems with it at all. I printed the 25 pages of back and front panels, less than a week ago. Now it won't do anything. I tried to scan, it says 'connection' and will never happened. I tried to print from my Chromebook, it won't. I tried printing from my iPhone, it won't do it either. I tried to send a printjob to enamel of the printer, in 10 minutes, I get a "failed" email It does not scan to e-mail or computer, but it is copy/printing. I tried to unplug. I tried to disconnect the wifi. Going back through all the set up again. I am at a loss.

    I understand that you have some problems with printing your urge to 5530. I can help with that.

    To start make sure the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet , not a surge protector. Once it's done:

    1. Turn the printer off.
    2. While the printer is turned off, unplug your router for a minute.
    3. Once your router works again re - turn on the printer.
    4. On the printer, click wireless icon in the top middle of the screen to display.

    Now the following troubleshooting steps depend on what you see on the screen.

    • If you see a line indicating "status: not connected", then the printer connects is more to your wireless network. To fix this click on settings and then scroll up to the wireless configuration wizard. After you run the wizard to your printer will still once connected to your wireless network.
    • If you see a line that says "status: connected" and the IP address starts with "169.254" while the printer does not receive an IP address from your router. You will need to contact your Internet provider or one that provided you your router to solve the problems of the router.
    • If you see a line that says "status: connected" and the IP address starts with "172" while the printer is probably connected to a network of comments. You will need to contact your internet provider or the one who gave you your router to disable the network of comments.
    • If you see a line that says "status: connected" and the IP address contains all other numbers, then the printer is properly connected to the network.

    If you have a situation like the fourth point above and then to see what the printer goes to press home to return to the main screen. From there, tap the icon of web services in the upper left corner of the screen. If you have a line that says connected the printer is properly connect to web services. Try sending an e-mail to the address of the ePrint on screen printer. If this prints then there is something wrong with Google Cloud Print.

    For iPhone, you want to make sure that the iPhone is connected to the same network as the printer. If it is and you are unable to print, then you will want to contact your internet provider and make sure that the multicast is enabled on the printer.

    I have an OfficeJet 6700. I need to scan documents of several large double-sided pages and want to use the automatic charger. I see nothing in the software to be able to analyze one side of a pile of pages, return them manually, then analyze the other side, and have the pages in a single document. It seems to me that this would be a fairly routine business need and also an easy enough task for software realize (just put each page second in order - basically the opposite of manually printing on both sides) so it makes me think that I must be missing something. Can anyone help please?

    The 6700 Officejet does not a duplex ADF to allow you to scan a two-sided document. Copy/scanning duplex is supported only in the glass on the model.

    I suggest that you are looking to buy a printer Officejet Pro (for example, the Officejet Pro 8600 N911g) If you are looking for the digitization of documents front / back, through the ADF. You can also look for third-party software that supports what you're looking for.

    Based on the description of yourself, I recommend 2 steps mentioned below...

    1. Run the s/w CD, you will be prompted with options such as adding a device, install more software etc... Click on "Install more software", click on "HP Solution Center" if it is present.
    2. Root access file middle for scanning to work. To do this, you must click START > computer > program (x 86) > HP > Digital Imaging > Bin . Locate the hpiscnapp.exe file, do a right click on it and then "send to desktop" > Desktop (Createshort Cup).

    Double-click the created short that would open the scanining interface.

    What you are trying to do may not work with your touchpad.  Normally when it is best to use a mouse.  The hardware is built to be different and you might find it easier to work with.

    No need to be on 24/7. Whenever you turn on the printer, it will connect to HP Server you set up normally (you can print, scan, and send it to print).

    I think that something to do with the IP address. Your printer can take any available within your network IP address after turning power. My printer has had similar problem, and after giving it a fix IP address, the problem has. Now, please, try:

    b press the WiFi, to register its IP address.

    (b) press settings, then press the bottom of the screen following

    (c) Adnaced touch and select manual IP settings

    (d) give a greater number (more than say 200 - keep the first 3 parts, replace the last part)

    I'm scanning for the first time on the 5530 and the scanner has split an image into several parts, rather than an image analysis. It also seems to be able to identify other images on the source document and scan them as individual items. While this could be very useful sometimes, this isn't what I wanted to do.

    Define the scan size as required.

    Click the Advanced Settings button and uncheck Auto framing, and then confirm the changes and restart the analysis.

    Have you followed the steps in washing I provided?

    Follow the steps below to check the WIA Service:
    1. type services.msc in run or search and files program
    2. scroll the page up to the WIA Windows Image Acquisition
    3. make sure that the service is running. Click on stop and then restart to ensure
    4 restart the computer

    Restart the services of dependencies:
    1. Click Start, in the search box type "services" without the quotes.
    2. scroll down until you see Windows Image Acquisition (WIA).
    3. double click on it and go to the Dependencies tab.
    4-2 services must be listed.
    5. close this window and look for the remote procedure call (RPC).
    6. make sure it's on manual or if it is enabled automatically, just leave it. Make sure the service is started.
    7. go to hardware detection kernel and Double click.
    8. set the Startup Type to manual and click on apply.
    9. you should be able to start the service by pressing Start.
    10 now, you are done and the Twain Manager must work and gives you is not a mistake. This should solve your problem

    Would you please provide the full model number? For example C410a. Some models are slightly different from each other and I want to assure you to give you specific information. How can I find my model number?

    Regarding the error, I checked and the following instructions should work on all models of the C410. The following instructions are for the "cleansing" or "cleaning" your computer HP printing software. This should allow you to perform a new installation of your printer and should fix your mistakes.

    Of the Original installation CD:

    1. Insert the CD in the drive and then cancel Setup

    2. open my computer and click right then on the CD from the drive and select open

    3 open the Util folder

    4 open the CCC folder

    5. run the L4uninstall.bat

    6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer

    7 run the Accessories\ System Tools Disk Cleanup

    8. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player
