HP ENVY 5530: My HP PRINTER ENVY 5530 ACCOUNT

Long boring story, but in a few words...

1.21 / 09/15 - printer had the paper jam false reviews on screen (there is no paper inside), HP tried to fix (via Chat for 2 hours), but couldn't trouble & said they would send a replacement printer.  CANNOT GET MY PRINTER TO DO ANYTHING AT THIS TIME HERE.

2.22 / 09/15 - printer working again. Am went on the cat to try to stop the delivery of replacement - they said to refuse just when he arrived via FedEx.

3.23 / 09/14 - FedEx sent. I explained why I refuse shipping. FedEx man hit something in the scanner at hand and put replacement FOR PRINTER BACK ON TRUCK.  I asked if he could give me something that says I have refused delivery, but he says, that it has been supported... so I don't have any physical evidence.

4.30 / 09/15 - HP e-mail "Getting Started...". Tips for using your new printer. (????) That's when I started to panic. Obviously, HP thought I had the replacement printer and was waiting for me to send my original back for them.  9/23-9/30 is a whole week.

I don't know how to solve this problem.  DON'T WANT TO BE CHARGED FOR A PRINTER I DON'T HAVE.  Tried for 3 days to join HP Support - sent 3 emails (no response), can't seem to get on Chat again.  Very hard of hearing, so call would not help.

A PERSON ON THE FORUMS OF HP CAN HELP ME SOLVE THIS PROBLEM? How can I fix my account to remove the replacement printer? Day course to do your research before they charge me. Thank you.

    Currently the Web of TouchSmart from HP Photosmart Premium all-in-One Printer using the printer code.

    However, you can add the printer to your account ePrintCenter without code printer by following these steps:

    1. click on the Add Printer button

    2. in the printer to add to your account window, click the radio button "I don't have a code to printer."

    3. Select the "I have a HP Photosmart Premium with Touchsmart Web (C309A). No code necessary printer! "option.

  • Print queue problems accounting program

    With queue problems when you try to print from accounting program (MYOB), will not print on a printer, pdf nothing. Other documents on the computer outside of the MYOB program print correctly.  does not display an error it just wraps and there is nothing there and then disappears. It worked fine till last updated the myob program and now have the problem. MYOB support have not been able to sort but either, they say it's to do with Windows Vista as queue is a part of windows interagal.

    You can try to uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers.

    Step 1: Uninstall the drivers from Device Manager.

    a. Click Start and type devmgmt.msc, and then Enter. The Device Manager window opens.

    b. expand printer in Device Manager device.

    c. right-click on the sound card and choose uninstall.

    You must also uninstall the drivers of devices in programs and features, so that it uninstall the software completely from the computer.

    Step 2: Uninstall drivers form the programs and features.

    a. click on start

    b. type appwiz.cpl in the start search

    c. Locate the printer driver package and the same uninstall.

    d. restart the computer and check.

  • Unable to print from the second printer shared user account.

    I have a new computer laptop windows 7, connected via a WiFi router to host the desktop in Vista and an HP photosmart printer.  The laptop is set up for two users and all the options of sharing files & printers, including auto detects, etc...  The admisistrator can print via the wireless network, but the second user cannot.  When troubleshooting and attepmting to find and add a printer for the second user, the error message 0 x 00000002 displayed after it says that it cannot find the printer.

    Unfortunately no, you can not reuse/recyle it. In my opinion, after several months (6 or 12 months with no activity) you may be able to re - use.

  • HP Envy 4500: Claim Code problems. The printer is already done.

    I am trying to add my new HP Envy 4500 to my account connected to HP, but when I enter the claim code, I get "the printer is already claimed. "In order to claim this printer, you must remove the previous owner.  Looking through the forum, it seems to be a fairly common problem.  I disabled / re-enabled web services to get a new code to claim, but it gives the same result.  I even reset the printer default and tried.  This time, connected HP indicated that it had saved my printer successfully, but when I go to the devices tab of the web page I am greeted with the message "it looks like you have not added all devices connected HP account".

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated, I'm hoping to use the instant program of HP ink, but unless I can add the printer to my account, I will not be able to.

    I managed to get this working afterwards by registering a new user account with HP with a different email address.  Not an ideal solution (and apparently not a rare either) but at least it works now.

    just installed 5535 HpEnvy printer to my home network. Printer works fine from my PC but the woman can't seem to get the printer to work from his IPad. We are not tech savy. Instructions step by step would be appreciated. It has Hp app on pad.

    Add the printer device

    Essentially, you must have installed printer (printing software), an account connected HP ePrint bits, put in place and - finally - an "app for that" on any device that needs one.

    Sidebar:

    If you have not installed the software of full functionality for the printer for a while, say several months, you can take this opportunity to resintall it cases have been updated.  Your choice.  The instructions are in the document.

  • HP Envy 4501: HPeprint is not available

    I have two 4501 eprinters installed on my home router.  I have two laptops of chrome which are both configured to print to a printer.  Both printers have been working for some time on the two computers.  A few days ago one of the printers displays the following error message "HP eprint not available at this time" when I tried to print.  The other printer on the same router works fine, computers.  I have other devices connected through this same router and they work fine.  I have no problems with the router or on the internet.  Why just the one 4501 printer?

    Looks like you might run low on ink to color as well.

    The site that you are referred to as is hpconnected.com. The claim code is numbers and letters to the e-mail address of your printer before ' @hpeprint.com '. You will find by clicking on the icon of web services on the printer again.

    That said, we should not follow the steps above, except if you want to customize the e-mail address of the printer to something that is easier to remember.

    Given that web services have been removed and active, we will need to add the printer to the main gmail account. Doing so connect to this account and click on this link to add the printer to the account and share it with your other Chromebook/Gmail accounts.

    Please let me know if this allows you to print from your Chromebooks on this printer. If you have any other questions please let me know what happened when you followed my instructions and I will be able to help you further.

    It is a great location for extra support! I see you are having problems installing the printer software. I'd be happy to help you.

    I have provided with steps to unlock the hidden administrator account and the installation of the printer on this account to see if this will help this situation.

    Note: Do not connect the USB cable until you are prompted during the installation.

    • Go to your Start menu and in the box "search programs and files", type CMD.
    • CMD will fill as an option to search above, just right-click on it and "run as Administrator".
    • Once opens in CMD (command prompt), type net user administrator / Active: Yes and press ENTER.
    • Then, close CMD and then restart your computer.
    • When your computer is on the newspaper in the new account which should show. It will be called Administrator and will not have a password on it.
    • If your computer automatically connects to your account after the restart then go to your Start menu and click on the arrow next to 'shutdown' and choose 'change user '. Now log on to the administrator account, that we have just released.
    • Under the administrator account, install the printer software.
    • Test the printer.
    • To disable the Admin account start at step 1 and type net user administrator / active: No..

    If you still experience this issue, it may be the user's profile. Create a new user and try to install the printer on this account.

    • Open user accounts by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, click user accounts and family safety (or by clicking on user accounts, if you are connected to a network domain), and then clicking user accounts.
    • Click on manage another account.
    • Click on create a new account.
    • Install the printer on this account.

  • HP Envy 5530: I replaced the black cartridge in my printer. She refuses to print in black only now.

    I ran all the standard tests. Black printing will produce only on cartridge color if used singularly. Print heads have been cleaned. Printer has updated its auto preset and no analysis of a printed item will be printed nor will be a printed document or the other. All prints have tried so far were in black ink. All worked perfectly until the change of the ink cartridge. Replacement cartridge used was a standard 301 HP black cartridge.

  • Print from 3rd generation iPad without internet HP Envy 4500 or 5530 or?

    I'm trying to help a friend who is a senior and has no computer or ISP.  She will receive an iPad tomorrow 3rd generation that is wifi and cellular.  I'm trying to minimize its costs and to believe that she can manage with just cellular data for email little and surfing, she must do to keep in touch with his doctors due to health problems.  She tells me that she wants to be able to print.  With no wifi and no ISP (at least to start) and no way to connect an iPad to a printer with a cable, I searched for a way to print.

    I came across a YouTube video where the guy he says he can print with certain HP printers on your iPad or your iPhone when in a vehicle and away from any wifi.  It calls the function in some printers HP called "direct print".  He referred to HP 5520.  I'm looking at HP 4500 or HP 5530.  I can't find references to "direct print".  Is there another name?  I read in the Forums of Apple that the Envy of printers range are capable of a direct impression of iPhones and iPads.  Is this true?

    Then, before I have buy for my friend, I need to know if it is possible what I want to achieve.  She will be able to print directly to one of these printers (or anyone) by selecting it in the wifi network offers?

    I tried to read the info on the HP website and there are references to send documents to the printer via a kind of HP Server, and even if this can work, it sounds more heavy for her.  She is a total newbie to computer and although I'm not, I have to be able to go home and raise his iPad and running and I want to give him a way to print.

    It goes without saying that what she need is a printer/copier basic and inexpensive, and I'm hoping to get one for around $100...

    Hi there and welcome to the forum. The feature you are referring is called "Live wireless" and want 4500 both want 5530 have this feature. When a printer has a wireless direct printing capability means your WiFi (smartphone, Tablet, laptop) compatible devices can connect directly to your printer wireless network without using a wireless router or access point. This sounds like it would work perfectly in the case of your friend who has currently no ISP.     Sorry to hear that you still have problems printing directly to the e-mail address you have set up.

    If the printer is on the network, it is able to connect to the ePrint service? If you have registered your printer to ePrintCenter, sign in to your account to see detailed information about the print jobs and errors and display the status of the connection:


    • Connected means that the printer is on a network with an Internet connection active and able to communicate with the HP servers.

    • Not connected means that the printer is not on a network with an active Internet connection.

    To update the connection status of your printer on ePrintCenter, use the button refresh, under the name of your printer on the site. Do not use your refresh button of the browser, because that will not regenerate reliable connection status of your printer.

    Note: If you use a USB cable to connect your printer to your computer, you also need to connect the printer to the Internet to use ePrint. HP ePrint requires an active network connection to the printer. HP Web Services are temporarily unavailable , we hear that the HP servers are not available.

    In some cases the following may be required for ePrint address connectivity issues:

    Simple corrections - first try these easy steps:

    1. Turn wireless off and then on again (under configuration > wireless menu on most printers)

    2. Turn the printer power off and then back on

    3. Make sure you have an active Internet connection. You can refer to "Connect to the Network," (in the ePrint > ePrint troubleshooting section) or "Print apps won't launch" (in printing applications > Troubleshooting Print Apps section)

    4. Turn your router off then on again (most routers do not have a power switch, so simply unplug the power cord at the back of the router and then plug it in again.) It may take a few minutes for the router power on and reconnect to your network).
      1. While your router is shutdown/reboot/reconnect, you will lose Internet connectivity Wi - Fi and wired connections to your computers. Close all the files that are stored on hard drives on a network before you reboot the router.

    Confirm that your printer and your router to update firmware:

    1. Check updates for your device:
      1. Depending on your model, look for the updates using one of the following options on your device: 1) select the ePrint icon/button > check [Product] updated; (2) configuration > Preferences > product updates; (3) configuration > Web Services Configuration > product updates; or (4) settings > tools > updates

      2. In some cases, the unit may require reboot a second time after an update of product to reconnect. If you experience connection problems after an update that is not resolved by a reboot of your printer, delete and re - enable Web Services.

    2. Look for the firmware for your router updates
      1. Check your router help documents or the Web site of the manufacturer of your router for more information on how to find and apply the available firmware updates.

    The problems of connectivity to Web Services:

    1. Delete and then reactivate Web Services on your printer
      1. This delete your printer from your ePrintcenter account and give you a new email address/request code for your printer. (The code that is the part of your printer to the left of the sign e-mail address @.) You can then add your printer to your ePrintCenter account and complete any installation of App ePrint/Print.

    2. Restore the default settings on your device. Follow these steps on your device:
      1. Delete Web Services

  • Restore the default settings (this is usually found under Setup > Tools menu)

  • Initial re-do of your device and add it to your network

  • Re-enable Web Services

  • Once the Web Services information sheet printing, use the printer claiming the code to add your printer to your account on ePrintCenter.

    What model of printer you have?

    Assuming your eprint-enabled printer, please follow the steps below to connect to web services and get your email from the printer.

    To find printers e-mail you need to enable web services from the front panel of the printer. It is normally a button on the front panel or an option in a menu.

    The printer will be connected to your WiFI network, and once the device is activated, it should display a page with a code composed of letters and numbers. It is the e-mail address of printers (when you add a @hpeprint.com to it).

    Once you have this, go ahead and configure a connected HP account and register the printer to your account. This will allow you to manage settings of the ePrint printer but also to track the history of the work.
