HP Envy 5530: Printing stops halfway through on the impressions of page multiple.

We have two machines Windows 8.1 print wirelessly to a printer Envy 5530 and if we try to print a document of several pages, many applications, the printer stops printing half way a page, not the first, eject this page and does no more than the print job print, but will continue the work next in the queue. I made sure we use the latest version of the HP software and Windows is up to the updates.

Hello
Try following the steps below and check if this can help:
-Open the HP software by clicking on the HP Envy 5530 icon in the desktop or the Start Menu, and then click on the link to the Home Page of the printer (EWS).
-Click on the network tab.
-According to the model of your printer, click Network, click Network (IP) address or click IPv4 in the active network connection type.
-Manuel IP-click and then click on suggest a manual IP address. An IP address manually, the subnet mask and default gateway shows.
* Be sure to take note of the IP address and confirm the changes, and then close the EWS page.
-Click the HP Envy 5530 icon on the desktop or the Start Menu and click the utilities tab, and then click Update IP address.
-Type the IP address that is configured manually, click on save and confirm.
-Open the control panel and go to devices and printers.
-Right click on the HP Envy 5530 icon and select printer properties.
-Open the Ports tab.
-Click on the button Add Port, select Standard TCP/IP and click New Port.
-Follow the procedure by typing the IP address that is configured manually and confirm the changes.

Now try printing and check if the problem solved.

Kind regards
Shlomi

I recently bought a student for the 'full package' subscription, my credit card has been charged.  Then I download the installer of creative cloud from the site, that's fine, and then I double click the installer of creative cloud according to the instructions, it starts downloading the desktop application, but is only halfway, then disappears.

  • Re: Fast draft between Chromebook HP and HP Envy 5530 printer

    Hello

I was delighted when I bought my new HP envy 5530. Prints well and I like the feature where I can emial directly on the printer.

The big disappointment is the following... I have an Acer Chromebook. Use Chrome Web Store rather than the game store, so I can't download HP eprint. I can't install the software b/c I don't have a cd player.

Is it possible to print on my new HP envy 5530 to and Acer Chromebook?

    Hello chromebookuser,

Welcome to the HP Support forums.   I understand that you have a Chromebook and your printer Envy 5530 and want to get the program installation and operation.

The first step is to connect the printer to your wireless network.  This can be easily completed from the front panel of the printer.  If you do not know how do steps are in your User Guide page 55 in the section titled "to connect the product with the wireless configuration wizard.

Now that the printer is connected to your wireless network, we need to enable the web printer services.  This too can be completed the façade.  Please refer to the code of request for printer if you need assistance. Please set up your account connected HP or HP ePrintCenter.  Using the printer application code, you can now Set Up a Custom E-mail address for ePrint.

Now that we have customized the ePrint printer e-mail address we can implement Google Cloud Print.  I have included the Google Cloud Print help with your HP printer to guide you through the process.  You should now print with Google Cloud Print.  For any additional consultation, I have included print a Page from Google of document.

  • HP Envy 5530: Printing errors

I use an Acer notebook running Windows 8.1 32bits. The printer is networked through our router of Rogers Wireless.

I get sometimes printing problems. I was for example print multipage information from the Web with the page set first impression. How to get to page 1, last page to print, it just stops printing on to half way down the page, the bottom half being virgins. The printer then scrolls the paper. To get the first page, that I had to print the selected page.

I had similar problems printing of MultiPage, including duplex printing PDF documents. The printer stops just halfway through the print sequence, and I'll have to use multi printing to obtain the entire document. I remember duplex print 18 pages and I had to select the pages to get the entire document - it took 4 attampts until I'm the entire document.

It's frustrating instead of a huge problem for welcome all thoughts

  • ENVY 5530: Print scanned pages is so slow!

    Hello world!

    My name is Flavio.

I just bought an inkjet Envy 5530 and I really like it so far. But what happens is when I try to print pages that have been previously analysed and have some sort of texture in white (not pure white), printing is so slow, perhaps, it prints a half inch at a time, stops for 4 or 5 seconds and then print one more inch... it takes about 3 minutes to print one page...

Is this supposed to happen with the inkjet printers?

I know that with lasers, of course it is much faster, but I didn't know that the printers ink jet could be so slow!

I think it has something to do with the White is not not totally white.

    Any help?

    Thank you!

    Hi @flaviolira123 ,

Who would certainly slow printing down. The printer would take time put in detail in print.

If it happened to other types of documents, I'd be a little worried.

Have you tried printing in draft mode?

Have you tried only shades of gray, black ink mode?

  • HP Envy 5530: Printer not closing

Sometimes the printer will not stop. I press the power button / stop and it will work for cut you during a certain time and then freezes. Then I have to unplug it to stop it. This happens more often than otherwise.

    Hello @Rocky4052,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I would like to help you today to solve the problem of response of power button that you experience when you try to stop your HP ENVY 5530 e-all-in-one printer. This problem may be due to a problem power or a problem of programming within your printer Firmware. Can I please you follow the steps below to isolate this problem and fix it.

    Step 1: Check of power:

Please plug your printer directly into a wall outlet for power. Power strips and surge protectors can cause your printer not responding correctly. Once your printer is plugged directly into an outlet please test. If the problem persists, proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Perform a power reset:

    1. Turn on your printer
    2. With the printer on , please unplug the power cord to the back of your printer
    3. Leave the power cable disconnected for 60 seconds
    4. After that 60 seconds plug back power cord in
    5. Your printer should start up on its own

Once the printer lights please test your machine to make sure it works. Should everything work properly please press the power button on your printer to powercycle the machine and check if your computer turns off as per normal. If "closing" issue persists, proceed to the next step.

    Step 3: update Firmware:

The Firmware is the internal programming in your printer. Is there an internal corruption in your printers Firmware, it can cause performance within your product. Therefore, I would like to confirm that your HP Envy runs the latest version of the Firmware. Please click here to download the last Firmware update. Once the download is complete, please follow the guests to the screen to 'send' the Firmware for your printer. Once the Firmware in your HP Envy also attested to date please test your machine. Once you confirm that your machine is running according to the normal, please use the power button on your printer to powercycle the machine. If the "closing" issue persists, please proceed.

Please reply to this message with the result of your troubleshooting. If the problem continues then a Semi full Reset programming may need to be performed on your machine. I can't wait to hear strings attached good luck!

  • HP ENVY 5530: HP ENVY 5530 print does not correctly on glossy paper

I have a HP ENVY 5530 bought 6 months ago. It works fine up to last week.

When I try to print photos on paper glossy A4-180gsm printing process seems to start until the paper has been fed properly - resulting in one third of the image is not being printed.

The amount of the printed image varies so I guess this isn't a calibration problem, but more likely a slip on paper feed.

I printed out photos full page on the same paper successfully during the last 6 months if the paper is OK.

The printer will print on uncoated paper 90gsm without problem.

    How to remedy this anomaly?

In the paper here troubleshooting steps can help solve power problems on your HP Envy 5530 glossy paper.  I would say that the cleaning rollers as described in the solution of two.

My eye scanner seems to have stopped working or is blocked.

When we try and copy something on the glass or the scan of the computer, all that comes out is black lines, both on paper than on screen.

It just happened, without notice.  The light on the scanner bar and it seems to do its thing, but then, it is only BLACK!

Welcome to the HP community @Carol0524,

I read the scans and copies of your craving for 5530 turns now with lines black, or entirely all black, and I wanted to answer you with all my ideas!

Initially, I would think that there is a problem with the hardware within the unit. Sometimes a power reset to ensure a direct connection to outlet (without surge protectors or bars), might help. If this is not the case, unfortunately, you are looking for need a printer replacement, or new unit. If that happens, I'll let HP contact information below to join to discuss your next options.

    • Turn on the printer.
With the printer, unplug the power cord at the back of the unit.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
      Wait at least 15 seconds.
Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the back of the unit.
If the printer does not by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.

Make sure that the printer is plugged directly into the wall, avoiding bars power and surge protectors. This ensures that the printer is full on.

  • HP ENVY 5530: HP ENVY 5530 print NOT in win 8.1

Is it a good solution for the bottom yet? This happened for months and still no solution. I bought this printer 4 days here were many of online recommendations, but these have been overshadowed by the below:

New printer wireless HP ENVY 5530 bought 2 days ago. Does NOT print a single document in Windows 8 or 8.1. It's scanning perfectly, I can also print from my HP eprint App Android perfectly. The printer is showing as connected and working properly (as evidenced by the ability to print from the device).

The printer accused that I try to print a Word, the message printer box doc, when clicked, shows me the document sent to the printer, and yet it sits there for about 3-4 seconds then... DISAPPEARS and no document comes out of the printer.

    I tried all bugs below:

    LEVEL 1:
    Uninstall the printer software

    • Rename the HPBXPSRENDER. DLL to HPBXPSRENDER. OLD, (located in C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\x64\3 for 64-bit and C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3 for 32-bit)
    • Reinstall the printer software

Result: FAIL - there is NO HPBXPSRENDER. DLL

    LEVEL 2:

    • Unplug everything, leave for 60 seconds, plug back in

    Result: FAILURE
