HP ENVY 5530: HP ENVY 5530 print NOT in win 8.1

Is it a good solution for the bottom yet? This happened for months and still no solution. I bought this printer 4 days here were many of online recommendations, but these have been overshadowed by the below:

New printer wireless HP ENVY 5530 bought 2 days ago. Does NOT print a single document in Windows 8 or 8.1. It's scanning perfectly, I can also print from my HP eprint App Android perfectly. The printer is showing as connected and working properly (as evidenced by the ability to print from the device).

The printer accused that I try to print a Word, the message printer box doc, when clicked, shows me the document sent to the printer, and yet it sits there for about 3-4 seconds then... DISAPPEARS and no document comes out of the printer.

I tried all bugs below:

LEVEL 1:
Uninstall the printer software

  • Rename the HPBXPSRENDER. DLL to HPBXPSRENDER. OLD, (located in C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\x64\3 for 64-bit and C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3 for 32-bit)
  • Reinstall the printer software

Result: FAIL - there is NO HPBXPSRENDER. DLL

LEVEL 2:

  • Unplug everything, leave for 60 seconds, plug back in

Result: FAILURE

LEVEL 3:

  • Disable firewall

Result: FAILURE

Sometimes the printer will not stop. I press the power button / stop and it will work for cut you during a certain time and then freezes. Then I have to unplug it to stop it. This happens more often than otherwise.

    Hello @Rocky4052,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I would like to help you today to solve the problem of response of power button that you experience when you try to stop your HP ENVY 5530 e-all-in-one printer. This problem may be due to a problem power or a problem of programming within your printer Firmware. Can I please you follow the steps below to isolate this problem and fix it.

    Step 1: Check of power:

Please plug your printer directly into a wall outlet for power. Power strips and surge protectors can cause your printer not responding correctly. Once your printer is plugged directly into an outlet please test. If the problem persists, proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Perform a power reset:

    1. Turn on your printer
    2. With the printer on , please unplug the power cord to the back of your printer
    3. Leave the power cable disconnected for 60 seconds
    4. After that 60 seconds plug back power cord in
    5. Your printer should start up on its own

Once the printer lights please test your machine to make sure it works. Should everything work properly please press the power button on your printer to powercycle the machine and check if your computer turns off as per normal. If "closing" issue persists, proceed to the next step.

    Step 3: update Firmware:

The Firmware is the internal programming in your printer. Is there an internal corruption in your printers Firmware, it can cause performance within your product. Therefore, I would like to confirm that your HP Envy runs the latest version of the Firmware. Please click here to download the last Firmware update. Once the download is complete, please follow the guests to the screen to 'send' the Firmware for your printer. Once the Firmware in your HP Envy also attested to date please test your machine. Once you confirm that your machine is running according to the normal, please use the power button on your printer to powercycle the machine. If the "closing" issue persists, please proceed.

It's really annoying to toggle the printer for each document... Thank you

  • HP Envy 5530: Printer not found

    Hello

I used to have a photosmart HP and it worked fine, but after a period of non-use, it is not found by my computer. Because she had no insurance, I was able to exchange for a want 5530 e - all - in - one.  However, despite the many attempts at opening up, this new printer is not found by my Mac pro, or my Samsung Mini.

All three devices are correctly connected to the same wifi (BT Home Hub 3 router), but the printer is not found. When I printed the Network Configuration Page, it says "network - ready status" etc.

Please could you help, thank you!

    Hi @DollisHiller

I want to help you get your mac and Samsung to see your replacement printer. On the front screen of the printer please press the wireless icon. There are 4 icons in the upper part, the wireless is the second from the left. In the Menu arrow until settings wireless advanced. I would like to disable IPV6, arrow down to IPV6, and then select OFF.

I saw the IPV6 interferes with the Hello Protocol several times, often time turning off this feature will solve the problem and allow the Mac to see the printer on the network. Once IPV6 is disabled try to add the printer again.

If the problem persists, we will try to do a cycle of power supply, computer and printer.

Follow these steps to turn off the router, Apple and the printer device.
  • HP 5530 Envy: Would print not; Software reinstalled now printer will not connect

I printed 2 pages of a document and another need.  When I went back to try to print again, it got stuck and would not take the step to go to HP ePrint.  I tried 2 other times.  Then I cancelled all print jobs 3 and tried to print something different.  Jobs canceled is stuck trying to cancel, and the other document would not print.

I checked the edits and reinstalled the printer software.  Then I unplugged the printer, and it wouldn't reconnect.

I uninstalled the software, reinstalled, printer does not connect.

Restarted the computer, printer does not have to connect.

I had this problem before, but not for a while.  I guess it's a problem with Windows 10.  I was going to make the resolution of the problems, but it is configured for Windows 8.1.

I ended up going to the support page for my printer, so the link that you sent in step 3 of solution 1.  I looked through the help desk, but they do not have my problem.  Then, from there, I stopped using these steps and went to the software and drivers link to see if something was missing.  It shows all of the software I have access to, but it is not very clear from this first page on what I actually need to add.  I downloaded the HP Printer Wizard and follow these steps, and now my problem is solved.  However, at the end of step 2, he said that if my printer was connected to the radio, I should stop troubleshooting.

As I said before, it was not a matter of my printer is not not on my wireless connection.  When I double click the icon of the printer front and selected 'add a new printer' he would not this process.  The wireless never disconnected.  The rest of my computer just not see it.  While I was with the installation wizard, he says that most of the drivers were there but some elements were not, so that solved the problem.

Thank you for your help.  Although not exactly what I asked, you still have the page that solved my problem.

  • HP envy 4500 prints not windows 8. Think that it prints, but it doesn't.

I'm trying to print from my Toshiba laptop running Windows 8 for my HP Envy 4500 wireless. Worked very well for my ipad, worked very well for my desktop and laptop computers running Windows 7. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the driver of printer 5 times. Printer is recognized, has an IP address and print an internal test page. When I print to it from my machine Windows 8, the file goes into the queue, gets a port and then disappears as if it was printed. Nothing prints. Please help, it's SO frustrating.

    Hello

I understand that you have done the process several times, and I definitely understand how that can be frustrating. I was wondering if you tried HP printer installation wizard to reinstall because it can often install things missing if this is the case here. If you have not tried, but I would like if you could try now and we can go from there if the problem persists. Thank you!

  • HP envy 5530 does not print

I recently bought a HP Envy 5530 printer.  After the introduction, it wouldn't print.  I am using the USB cable, but also tried the WiFi and no work.

I have a HP Pavilion dv9500 laptop.  It is currently running Windows 7 Home Premium with Service Pack 1 and is the 32-bit operating system.

The printer is such that it is installed.  It is stated that the selected printer and is online.  When I try to print from any application, I get the printer bit incontinence, but it shows 0 documents in the queue.   The box of the printer that arises from the application indicates that the printer is selected but inactive.

I made sure that I have all the widows and the HP updates.  I ran the diagnostic printer, printing HP and doctor to analyze and troubleshoot HP Instalation default - MSI following all the recommended steps.  None of them solve the problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I wanted to thank you for your attempts to help me, but I decided to give up.  As the HP Envy 5530 worked correctly on the computer of my brother, I gave it to him.  His older HP Deskjest D4160 loaded and worked on my computer, so he gave it to me.  I'm sorry, we couldn't get the HP Envy 5530 takes over and works fine on my computer.

  • Want 5530 printer will not align properly

    Hello

I had to change my black cartridge in my printer HP Envy 5530.  Alignment printed document, I noticed that the color cartridge should also be replaced if I interrupted the process (this may have been a bad idea) and installed a new color cartridge.  When the process is restarted, correct alignment of printed document, but when I put it on the glass in order to complete the process, alignment failed.  It appeared that the document could not be read, and I received a message about the configuration of the cartridges to 'default' all that meant.

Then I went to copy a document (in black) and, to my surprise, it came out white.  It seemed that the alignment document could not be read.  I thought that the scanner have been damaged, but I was able to scan documents.  I was able to print, but the quality was poor.

I tried the following without result:

1 removed the cartridges and Redid the alignment process.

2 unplug the printer and Redid the alignment process.

    3. reinstall the printer.

4 Ran own process of heads and repeat the alignment.

    5 etc.

I discover that the system copy so I used the color option.

    I'd appreciate the help.

    Thank you.

  • Want to 5530:5530 does not print black

5530 printer worked very well. Black print cartridge ran out of ink. Replace the cartridge-no black printing, single color.  Thought that the replacement could be a dud. Put another in (both HP brand, out of the box). Still no black printing. Has made many attempts cleaning via the screen and computer connected with USB. Nothing. It prints a blackish color when I took out cartridge black - using composite of tri color cartridge.  Removed the cartridge, turn the printer power off, turned back, left overnight, unplugged, ran doctor Scan.  Still no black printing.

Why this suddenly wouldn't work not afte replace this cartridge?

    Hi @Weaver1953

Do you receive for example error messages missing cartridge? Try to clean the little electrical contact pads on the back of the ink cartridge and also take a look at where they are sitting in the printer to make sure that nothing has been damaged when you have replaced the cartridge empty. Sometimes if they are not aligned properly it can cause an error of rejection.

However, if the printer accepts the cartridge and print, but the black ink is just absent, this suggests a problem with the cartridge and not the printer. If this is the case I suggest to get the cartridges to where you bought them or you could try calling the phone support, you can benefit from replacement cartridges. Theres a link below for phone in the world supported by the numbers:

    I hope this helps!

  • My HP ENVY 4500 does not print

I recently bought a HP ENVY 4500 printer I it connected wireless through e-print HP, but it does not print any PDF files or documents web page, it would only print Microsoft Office documents. I tried to manually connect via USB, but it does not print anything, it just says: queue when I check on my Active printers the print job disappears as if its been printed.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, I should have asked you to confirm if you try to print from a mobile device (smartphone or Tablet) or a laptop/Macbook computer.

If it's the former, take a look at this support document covering start with ePrint to your wish of 4500

If it's the last one here is a link to some troubleshooting steps for issues that you may experience when you try to print wireless

  • HP Envy 4500: Print jobs disappear from the print queue and not print (Windows 7).

I just bought a HP Envy 4500 printer,

When you attempt to print from a PC with windows 7 OS home pro (64-bit), the print job appears in the queue and then disappears, but the printer does not print anything.

Everything else seems to work very well know

    • The printer prints the internal test page
    • The printer does print when you use iPad2
    • The printer does print when you use ePrint
    • The PC recognizes and communicates with the printer (tried with USB connections and wireless)
    • Analysis feature works very well - when initiated from the PC and printer

    I tried

    • uninstalling and reinstalling the software (several times using software from different sources)
    • restart the printer queue service
    • Disabling the firewall
    • running printing HP and doctor Scan
    • following the instructions described here (the question is the same but the different operating system):

Print jobs disappear from the print queue and print (Windows 8)

    • combinations of all of the above

Absolutely no joy in any of them, and in spite of more than 2 hours of research on Google and forums search I can't find a solution.

HP... can you give me a solution or is that goes back to the shop?

Well I finally worked on the fix myself by trial and error.  I changed the security settings for 'All' and 'Creator owner' to 'Print' and "Administer Documents".  Why on earth they were not automatically allowed as part of the installation, I couldn't really say.

Hope this helps someone else with a similar problem.

  • HP Envy 4500 will not print computer

    Hello

My HP Envy 4500 works perfectly for some time now.  Unfortunately, it stopped printing from my Dell laptop, running Windows7. It scans to the laptop very well.  It copies fine, and it prints from my iPhone fine.

I've reviewed a ton of messages and tried many things:

    * Uninstall/reinstall wireless (at least 8 times) - via the website https://123.hpconnected.com/activate/woobe/ENVY4500

    * Uninstall/reinstall via USB

    * ran doctor utility printing/scanning (or whatever it's called) and says it all looks very good

sending a test with a HP tool page is fine, however, the internal test via the tool HP Print page fails

I'm losing my mind and would be really grateful for the help.

    Thank you!

    Hello

You put a serial number of the printer here, not a model number of the printer

Access the site of HP drivers at this link > put in the full printer model number > select your operating system > find the right drivers > download and install following the instructions from HP that you may find.
