HP Envy 6 noise deaf

I have a HP Envy 6 - 1006sa Sleekbook that makes a horrible thud in the back left corner.

I tested and sent by PC World as thought it might be the hard drive? Their tests said that it isn't, and they just gave me a new keyboard (useless). I did my own test on the HP Support program + and it was agreed that the hard drive is fine.

I can't reproduce the problem, and it is not constant. This does not happen when I do any particular action, for example, printing, watch videos. It seems completely random. Sometimes there is a thud, there is sometimes a bit together.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

Thank you

its may be becase fan problem, I know not is a fan of weather in this part of your lappy or it may be becase of your physical damage to the hard drive, better get in touch with hp service station and I suggest you BK a return for your application to ASP.

My new HP Envy 7640 makes a low sound, but cleary whistling noise even when it is off (noise stopped only if I unplugged the power supply completely).  I went back to the shop and received a replacement, but the replacement does the same thing.  Is this a general feature of the HP envy 7640 or is there a solution?

  • Fan of Sleekbook 4 HP ENVY rattling noise

Product name: HP ENVY Sleekbook 4 PC
    Product number: C2K72UA #ABA
    64-bit Windows 8

So I've had this laptop since November and it was fine, until a few months ago, when he started to make this fort of the sound vibrations in the upper right. Sometimes he'd stop, then rattle noise would come back in a few seconds.

    What should I do?
[I don't have a warranty on this laptop]

    Hey jennyydang,

I'm sorry that you run into a problem with the fan. You may already be aware of this but the laptop comes with a standard 1 year warranty (free repairs for non-customer - damage caused by). Which is included in the price of the laptop if you bought new or is less than a year (even if it was, say, given to you... If it is less than a year, he got a guarantee). If it's less than a year, I suggest strongly sent the repair. The fan noise of rattling is normally fixed by simply replacing the fan.

If the laptop is more than a year, you could bring to a repairman or replace the fan on your own. (It's a very tedious job, and at least that a repair like this is a hobby for you, it's worth the price you pay someone to fix it)

  • My iphone is weird noises

Hello! I'm new here so please excuse me for my tags if there is not correct

So yesterday, that I have just updated my iphone 6s as well as for the new ios which was ios 10 I don't know if this has nothing to do with the sound but I'll just turn off.

He began to make these noises deaf or door closing (the farm I could describe it) whenever I'm going to close my phone. I tried power off option, but nothing helped.

It bothers me whenever I hear him, I couldn't turn off sound locking but I prefer if it's on.

Can someone help before I have to reset all the settings to see if it works if there is no solution.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post.

    Emojii...,

The 'Lock Sound' has changed with iOS 10. There is no user option to change the sound. If you don't like the sound, you can go to settings > sounds > lock sound and turn it off.

  • WANT 7640: High-pitched noise of the JEALOUSY of 7640

I bought my printer 3 days ago and there has been a sharp electronic noise coming from the power supply to the back of the printer for this time.  He makes the same noise, even when the printer is in "sleep".  The power cable is plugged into the back of the printer, but the part that it is connected to the printer is not safe; It moves from one side to the other (about 1 or 2 mm) when I push it.

I read through every posting on this thread, and it described exactly the problem I have.

    https://www.Google.ch/#q=HP+envy+7640+noise

I see postings that HP sent a new power supply to customers, and in some cases, this solves the problem.  Can that HP sends me a new cable directly, or I have to go through the dealer where I bought it in Switzerland?

Today, I received the offer of replacementpower.  It is easy to install, even if the model numbers on the instructions that accompanies it, did not match my model 7640.

Finally, a printer without the hissing/fax noise annoying.

Thanks to the person who identified the problem as quickly.

  • Satellite M70-192 - question of HARD drive replacement

    Hello...

It's just my first time to ask for help in this forum... and besides, in any forum on the whole wide net.
So, sorry if am don't do this right... that's...

My brother bought a laptop (Toshiba Satellite M70 - 192 psm71e-01k00rar) of the Kuwait around 2006. A few months ago we started hearing "noise noise deaf deaf" - ing sound inside the camera and the screen is just deleted (there was an error message that is encrypted but I wasn't able to note it). I was able to boot from the DVD or USB drive. So I thought that maybe the hard drive has been the only problem.

I put in a new HARD drive (a 320 GB western digital scorpio wd3200bevt) and started to reinstall the system (I forgot which of the 2 supplied Toshiba cd I inserted first - media cd or the windows xp CD-ROM) but in the middle of installing the keyboard area was so hot that I unplugged / stop the laptop immediately.

After that, the HARD drive has become invisible to any Linux or rescue CD or utility of HARD drive that I tried to boot from... (fortunately?) The said HDD vendor as the HARD wd scorpio drive + really + defective and they replaced...

    * now the questions: * I discovered that the rated current for the HARD drive (60 GB) provided originally for the Toshiba M70 is a little bigger than the new wd scorpio *(.55 amp) *. Could this be the reason why the 1st WD Scorpion got "fried"?
    Is it a SATA1 - SATA2 question?
How can I _properly_ replace/upgrade our laptop HARD drive?

Please note that before I bought the new HARD drive, I ve read somewhere in the "net I could use a disk sata2 on a sata1 controller, etc. + * pls help!" * +

Toshiba services are simply too expensive for me right now if will send it (cell phone) in a licensed shop. Why I'm in DIY mode that s. I don't think I can afford an another fried Scorpion!

    Thank you!
    yours,
    TAC

    > I discovered that the rated current for the HARD drive (60 GB) provided originally for the Toshiba M70 is a little bigger than the new wd Scorpion (.55 MPA). Could this be the reason why the 1st WD Scorpion got "fried"?

I don t think that a larger and faster HARD drive might be the reason for the higher internal temperature.
You said that you have heard and his strange "noise noise deaf deaf." Such sound could be created by the defective cooling module. A defective module could be responsible for the highest internal temperature

    > Is it a SATA1 - SATA2 question?
    Here's your second thread:
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums//message.jspa?MessageID=150272
You can see that the SATA2 is compatible to the bottom and the s SATA2 HARD drive would work with common controller SATA HDD.

    > How can I properly replace/upgrade our laptop HARD drive?
Replacing the HARD drive is not difficult. I see that you have already found the HARD drive Bay and bought a HARD drive.
In your case I recommend using the common SATA 2.5 HARD drive with 100 GB maybe 120 GB.

  • How to eject an Officejet 8610 flash player after analysis of a file inside.

I used the controls on the front panel of my Officejet 8610 to scan an image to a flash drive plugged into the front of the 8610.

The 8610 has welcomed the presence of the player very well and placed the scanned image on it as you wish.

But for the life of me, I can't figure out how to make a controlled release of the flash player.  (I finally made a stop controlled of the 8610 and removed the drive after that the 8610 turns off.)

How do you make a disc flash of the façade, USB port?

    Hello

Thank you for reporting the issue.

For printer, you don't need to go to controlled ejection. Just remove it (out) of the printer and that there will be no problem for printer or your drive noise deaf. You don't need to close the printer to do.

    It's easy as 1.2 3.

    Good impression

  • Thud

During the last week, I had to do a clean XP - Pro, 32-Bit install.  Since yesterday, now that I've updated all applicable both Windows and Office 2003, my computer make a noise deaf that you can hear on my speakers.  Whenever I turn on, a watch box gives me the ability to disable the Windows standard burner, to which I replied 'no' in order to keep the option open to use.  I think there may be a driver causing the problem, although I don't see anything wrong in the Device Manager, but whenever the computer makes a sound, the elements in the flash device manager.  The computer is a Toshiba Satellite A105-S4002.

are you sure of the knock is from the cd, could they be from the hard drive or a fan?

can you say - connect cable from the cd drive or remove it and a disc could be stuck in there?

  • Color laserjet 2550Ln: printer making dull sounds & missing print

As printer goes through in preparation for printing cartridges, it makes a noise deaf (or deaf). This translates into at least 1 color being absent from the print - usually black. I tried to change the black toner cartridge, but this makes no difference. Could this be a gear jump?

Say things to print in black and white in fact print black OK.

Not sure if this is related, but the print and scan doctor said misconfigured printer port (although it must have been like that for a long time before the print issue / missing deaf).

    Connected by USB.

Just in case anyone else has this problem, I have now solved with the help of someone in the know. The problem is the solenoid that holds the toner Mercile in the correct position. It originally had a little foam inserted to reduce noise and over time, the foam is falling apart, leaving a residue sticking delays the activation of the electromagnet. This can be replaced with a small piece of velcro that's going to be hard much longer! No need to buy a new printer!

  • HP Envy x 360 15t w100 CTO: noticeable click/Static noise - HP Envy x 360 15 t

Immediately after the start of my new laptop HP Envy, I noticed a continual noise coming from the top right, above the numberic key. It's a click rotation, static noise and what looks like spinning. The noise resembles the hardrive treatment, however it is continuous with diferent sounds coming in waves. I read a few other complaints with the same question, but no solution. Noise is not arrogant but extremely annoying and can be heard in a quite room. I made sure to day/download the most recent included drivers and BIOS updates, which did nothing.

Here is a recording of the sound while the laptop is powered on with no application open... the noise becomes louder and more noticeable that several processes are used in 15 seconds.

NOPE! I really don't think that noise can be stopped unless HP will replace the HDD entirely for you.

I returned this laptop and just kept the other model that was purchased at Best Buy model HP Envy x 360 m6-103dx. The HP Envy 15 360 t x I received directly from HP was a major problem, not to mention the noise. It would not be closed. Every time I have would shut down the laptop, the laptop back on itself. The only way to shut it down was a closed hard, where you have to press and hold the power button for several seconds. I tried several ideas services troubleshooting HP customer and nothing has worked. No idea what was wrong with this machince.

  • Quad Edition CTO Notebook HP ENVY 15 t-j100 fan noise

I recently bought a HP ENVY 15 t-j100 Quad CTO Notebook Windows 7 Professional Edition (PC product #: E1P05AV) and I noticed that when the laptop is under any kind of load, the fan can be incredibly strong. There is no abnormal noise, but the volume itself can be irritating. Basically, it looks like a dryer located on the top. I was wondering if it was just a normal phenomenon or if there was something more to him. I have the latest version of the downloaded bios, and there should not be any dust or dirt in the book since I just got. If someone could shed some light on this, I would gratefully.

    Hello

Thank you for visiting the forum!

I understand that whenever there is any kind of load your system fan noise, it's usually an overheating problem that I suspect.
I really recommend that you quickly go through the following documents & try to do at home and hopefully solve the problem.

  • HP envy 15-u111dx 360 x: no one knows the reason for this noise?

I opened my first hp envy 15-u111dx 360 x last week. After a day of use, I realized that the laptop is decently loud "ticking" noise. It does not sound entirely mechanical, more as a noise type modem cable except worse. It comes from the right side of the base of the laptop near where is the LED on the hard drive. I returned it today in Exchange for a laptop brand new of the same model. It makes the noise as well. I'm paranoid, either there is a problem with most laptops. No to geeksquad guys had never heard this noise before. It is NOT the fan. It is closer to the sound of a hard drive is no exception because it is not a pattern. It only happens during tasks and the heavier workload the stronger and more frequent noise becomes. So this led me and workers to buy better believe that's a bad treatment. This notebook is an i7 with 12 GB of ram so I am very appreciative of this incredible machine but this noise makes me a bit tired of this laptop. Is it a bad sound or each i7 makes noises? Hard disks make this noise? All comments are appreciated unless you say it could be the fan, because it is not. The fan is the other side of the laptop. Thank you.

    Hello @schmittycity,

Thank you for your quick response!

From what you have said on the Geek Squad, I don't think that it is a normal sound of the unit.  The only moving parts of your laptop that can be the cause of this noise, it's the hard drive, the fan and the heat sink.  Remove the cover to replace a hard drive or memory, with HP parts, should not void the warranty, as long as there is no damage seen the hardware or the lid.  You can also check to make sure that there are no loose screws.

If the noise is abnormal, the best solution may be to return the device, or contact HP as previously posted.

    I hope this helps!

    Have a great weekend!
