HP G6 1b60US - Ralink wireless drops every 30 to 60 seconds. Ethernet is fine.

HP G6 1b60US - Ralink wireless drops every 30 to 60 seconds.  Ethernet is fine. I tried a USB WiFi and it works perfectly.

That's how I test: run CMD, ping google.com t

With this race in the background is very easy to see the question.

I tried earlier versions of the Ralink drivers, nothing solves the problem.  What is interesting, it is same when I'm on WiFi from UBS, if the Ralink is not disabled, there will always be the question.  (Although I am CERTAINLY connected via USB wifi.

It's a real pain, since I use Remote Desktop a lot, and whenever that happens, my connection to the DRC crashes.

Problem solved!

My old Linksys WRT54GL router has been arrived in mixed mode (B/G).  All I did to fix this was set to G only.

So if anyone runs into this problem, be sure to try this change.

Thanks again Paul, to help him.

Hi, I have a very annoying problem.

When I'm surfing wireless at home I have no problem, but when I start to charge my battery, wireless turning off every 2 minutes or so to reconnect immediately.

This problem does not exist when I am in charge battery next to the wireless router. Only when I'm in the living room.

Is that what someone else has this problem or is - someone has a solution for this?

The wireless network card supports different options. In the Wlan card properties, you should find a tab advanced.
There you can change different settings. Please try to disable the power save option WLan Card.

I don't know if it helps but you know train is free ;) m

    Hello

Model No. - HP Pavilion dv6330ea laptop. Check out the link http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?cc=us&d

My OS is Vista Home Premium 32-bit.

Recently scanned my system with Intel® Driver Update Utility, it automatically identify and find drivers and maintains the system to date. It detects the driver updates are relevant to our computer.

I scanned my system and here are the results

So my questions is that I go with the update or not, considering that there are no new updates available through hp update.

My wireless connection is getting deleted every 2 hours or 3 hours, I need to disable and re-enable my wireless connection and then it detects my wireless network and finally the connection is established.

    OR

Sometimes it does not find my wireless network, but it is my neighbors wireless very well. I need to disable and re-enable my connection Wi - Fi 3 or 4 times and network is established.

But when I connect it to my laptop through LAN IE with cable and internet, then falling at all.

my modem is kept near my laptop and some time wireless connection is lost again.

Q1] this update will allow you to solve my wireless problem?

Q2] I will proceed with this update or not?

Q3] or how to solve my wireless problem because it cuts every 2-3 hours.

    --------------------------------------------------

Why it dint find my device in my system. why it showed this error this device is unknown or unsported for Graphics Driver, Audio driver for motherboard Intel and Wired Networking

    --------------------------------------------------

    Good bye

    Hi Siva,

You used the Intel® driver update utility to check the cell for the driver updates.

As regards to the Nvidia Geforce card goes, it would be desirable to obtain the latest drivers from the Nvidia site.

    http://www.nvidia.com/download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

We cannot be certain as to why cable and audio network drivers cannot be identified.

Because the utility identified Intel as an update of the driver is available, you can go ahead and install the update.

It may or may not solve the problem.

If there have not been any changes made to the system, it might be issue with the router as well where it could be disconnect you.

To proceed with the update of the driver.

Let us know if it solves the problem.

  • Wireless network connection drops every few minutes after windows update.

    Original title: dropped internet connection

I had trouble with my laptop give up wireless connection.  Received a patcha and everything was fine until the last windows update auto.  Same problem again.  I have to constantly reset the wifi.  I run a diagnosis and I get the message that the wireless adapter has been corrected, but it won't always stay connected.  VERY frustrating.

    Hi Ccolvin3,

Windows can be disable your network adapter to save power. Disable the power saving option in the network adapter properties. To do this, try the following steps.

    a. Click Start, type devmgmt.msc and press to enter.
    b. in the list of objects, expand network adapters.
    c. double-click the sub element that means wireless network cards.
    d. click the power management tab.
    e. uncheck all options on the power management tab.
    f. apply the settings, and then restart the computer to check the difference.

We recommend that you also download and install the latest driver for the card from the device manufacturer's Web site or system wireless.

  • problems with a Probook s 4530 and earn 8.1 x 64 and card RALINK Wireless

    Good afternoon

I have reported a problem with the installation of Win 8.1 Enterprise on a HP Probook 4530 s which has a RALINK RT3592BC8 wireless card installed.  This card has the info printed on it.

    Rev: 01:00

    SPS:630813 - 001

    Release date: 2011/05/21

    Mac ID: 68A3C4BBD32E

    CT: GBRFA00FK0M86K

    SPS: 630813-001

    HP part number: 629887-001

    WCBN607RH-H1

    THE COMIC BOOK ID: 68A3C48947BF

The laptop had already installed a copy of the company to earn 8 x 64.  the laptop was working fine on this OS, however we migrate to Win 8.1 Enterprise but this laptop would never apply the inplace upgrade.  We were trying to replace the older readers of 5200 RPM in laptops, and I bought an SSD 250 GB EVO 840, and as I was replacing the HARD drive, I also decided to install Win'a 8.1 x 64 business.  The installation went well until installing Windows begins loading the drivers.  Around 60% the error came that there was an error "irq not less or equal to".  I checked the HARD drive in another machine and was able to install a business Win 8.1 x 64 on it, so I wiped the install and tried again.  Failed a second time.

At this point, I thought that there was a device that Win 8.1 wasn't satisfied and as by chance the wireless card was easy access to the laptop so it was my 1st point of call.  Installation went through after withdrawal of the wireless card and try again the installation of win, fine.  I was also able to install our 2013 Office without problems and the 1st round of updates to victory.  On the 2nd round, I thought I want to reinstall the wireless card, for cranking up the dreaded irq not less or equal to returned to the top and the machine was in a reboot cycle.  During a start/stop cycles, I turned off and removed the wireless card and the machine very well.

It seems that there may be a problem with the card stock RALINK RT that comes with a HP 4530 wireless.  At this point, I had to remove the card from the laptop, until I can find an alternative.

I see a lot of messages about the causing problems ralink drivers/device, but I can't seem to find the right driver to use for the x 64 bit 8.1 on a 4530 (map exceed the details) and what the correct procedure is to have this card works correctly for future upgrades of windows?  can someone enlighten me please?

    Thank you

    Mike

    Hi, Mike:

The only suggestion I can offer is to try the latest version of the driver Ralink W8.1.

    http://h20566.www2.HP.com/hpsc/SWD/public/detail?swItemId=ob_142231_1

If this does not work, I suggest you only replace the card wireless with one of those enrolled in the service manual has a better chance of working with W8.1, such as an Intel wireless card.

When I click on the support page for the 4530 s, I see only a limited amount of W8.1 drivers available which normally isn't a good thing about the compatibility of the device 100% with an operating system.

  • RALink wireless LAN 802.11n card and my WIN 8 64 bit PC error Code 31: no driver updates available

22/12/2012 bought ASUS CM6780 PC running 64-bit. RALink Wireless LAN crashed my system twice in 10 months. ASUS support allows only a "System Restore" which means you start from scratch with ALL your programs, updates etc etc.
I get the error code indicating 'Bad Image' with several pop-up window for what I am running, and the Ralink Lan has an error code 31 showing Windows cannot update.
I have my 1 year warranty AND a 3 year warranty, I purchased in addition to this, but the ASUS support is lame. Only help to restore the system not to find a real solution, and when I ask a new LAN card, they do not respond.
Is this a problem with updates of Windows or Ralink?
Please advise, downtime for each episode runs more than 24 hours, restore my programs and update everything. I'm ready to trash or sell it!

Send the minidump to analyze what is causing the BSOD,

This device does not work properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31).  So install the Ralink wireless driver.

  • No internet ralink wireless

On an hp2000-412nr windows 7 64 bit with ralink wireless adapter, I am unable to connect wireless with wep security (and I like all security through research) even after download the latest drivers from the hp website. A wireless-n usb dongle was bought and works, but I hope that the updated drivers. Too hard to try wpa2 security (but I'm told that it doesn't) because of all the devices on the network that need to change. In fact, the router has a free one of Micro Center Tenda (and fortunately wireless n dongle was by chance free from there also) and it doesn't work even with wpa - what you want for free. At least we had to pay the $ 45 restocking fee to return the laptop.

Good news. Got, it works. After some back and forth with email HP support, I followed one of their procedures and learned that not all WEP encryption is supported by everything. In addition, among the proceedures wanted a 10 character key, and my key has been 24 characters. I set the router to WEP Shared WEP/Mixed, requiring a 10 character key. WEP is the only security supported by the router. After the wrench of 10 characters (and setting 4 other devices on the network so that the key), it worked. Thank you HP email support. Another blog, not this one, told me that no wireless security has worked on these computers, which threw me off the coast. Happy I persevered and got it to work.

  • RALink wireless Pavilion p6630f desktop

I bought a new computer Pavilion p6630f desktop, installed wireless.

From the outset, there has been no sign operating the Ralink RT2860 (works).

Drivers have been updated and declared operation be Device Manager.

A wireless computer in case installation is new to me.  I was expecting an icon, or lists of programs would allow me to set up the wireless with security and preferences, etc. as it is with, say, a D-Link router external.

What I'm missing here? I have not be able to justify all this problem on the site of Ralink or with the HP support site.  As I found it, HP doesn't make absolutely no mention of the card wireless installed or the setup of software/firmware, did in fact, no manual for 6630f Office.

Working in obscurity as a rank amateur in this case.

    Any help?

    Thanks for the reply Erico.

I am fully aware of the support site thanks.

The problem is not a network.  The question is to be able to control the Ralink wireless and having it recognized by the 6630.

As you can see, every 8 to 12 seconds or so the ping spikes. I also have the symmetrical experience drops in bandwidth when, for example. update of a game in steam, I guess these are related.

I tried to use a different router at my place of work, but the problem persists; the tips of ping every 8 to 12 seconds. I tried to change channels on my router at home, nothing helps, my ISP upgraded the firmware of the router, but with no effect on the tips of ping.

I tried to find a solution online, but I couldn't find anything for this case. I have an idea that the spikes are perhaps caused by my macbook pro to roaming for wireless signals, but the only solutions I've found regarding this issue relate to the PC.

Maybe this is caused by the update of January in El Capitan?

    Any help would be appreciated

  • Satellite A300 - fan turns on every 2 min 30 seconds

    Hello

I wanted to know if its normal that the fan starts running on my Satellite A300-1hv every 2 min 30 seconds?
What is happening continuously. I'm on the maximum power of vista.

    Help will be really appreciated.

    Thank you.

Yes, it's nothing unusual, because the fan starts to turn a certain temperature level is reached.
There is a temperature sensor, and if the temperature drops to a higher level modules cooling starts to cool internal as CPU, GPU devices.
If the temperature drops then the fan slows down.
It seems that there is nothing wrong and you should t be worried

  • Firefox regularly (every 8 to 15 seconds) freezes for 1-3 (in seconds) after a half hour of work

Firefox crashes on a regular basis (every 8 to 15 seconds) for 1 to 3 seconds after half an hour of work. I freshly installed my windows and firefox (without extensions), but the hook has yet occurred. Don't know how to solve this problem. Maybe it's a memory problem? (I have 4 GB of RAM, which should be enough). When it crashes, it leaves to scroll through, write or do something else, but if I try to do, he says, but after a few seconds. This happens regularly, it's very annoying, especially when it crashes looking at youtube - video stops, turn on audio and a video catches up with a video after a few seconds. Thank you very much for the help.

    This has happened

    Each time Firefox opened

    Is very long

Try running Firefox in questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode. If that fixes it, disable extensions 1 by 1 to find the culprit.

I have re-installed Windows XP. My wireless does not, any more than my ethernet connection. What should I do?

original title: why isn't my laptop recognize the eathernet link?

Go to your computer manufacturer's support web site
and search for the Windows XP drivers for your specific computer or motherboard model number.

If there are Windows XP drivers, then download to a folder on your hard drive and burn it to a CD/DVD.
Then, after installing XP install all device drivers, start by installing the card mother/chipset driver first,
then the SATA, Audio, USB, LAN, etc, drivers.

If you have an Intel motherboard, you can try the Intel driver update utility: http://www.intel.com/support/detect.htm?iid=dc_iduu

  • E1200 Wireless is slow (Ethernet is fine)

I just bought a new router Linksys E1200 to replace a D-Link router, in order to address a problem of Xbox Live. This problem has been resolved with the new router. However, the E1200 wireless connection speeds are very slow, while ethernet speeds are normal.

Speedtest.NET show me speeds between 0.5 and 2 Mbps instead of the usual 20-25mbps I receive via ethernet and wireless from the D-link download.

Interestingly, my download speed seems unaffected and remains about 4 Mbps if I connect wirelessly or via ethernet.

My router is a Linksys E1200 v2 running 2.0.02 build 3. All 3 computers, I am trying to connect are MacBook Pro of variable age from 2007 to 2011. I have the router allows only connections Wireless-N, and encryption is WPA2 Personal.

Try to go into the QoS (in Administration?) and affecting the disabled WMM. Then, run your tests. Make sure that your computers are not set to N only, or you will lose connectivity. WMM is required for N Wireless to do its job, WMM slows Internet.
