Wireless drops every 2-3 hours in PC HP Pavilion dv6330ea
Hello
Model No. - HP Pavilion dv6330ea laptop. Check out the link http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?cc=us&d
My OS is Vista Home Premium 32-bit.
Recently scanned my system with Intel® Driver Update Utility, it automatically identify and find drivers and maintains the system to date. It detects the driver updates are relevant to our computer.
I scanned my system and here are the results
This version is valid.
--------------------------------------------------
So my questions is that I go with the update or not, considering that there are no new updates available through hp update.
My wireless connection is getting deleted every 2 hours or 3 hours, I need to disable and re-enable my wireless connection and then it detects my wireless network and finally the connection is established.
OR
Sometimes it does not find my wireless network, but it is my neighbors wireless very well. I need to disable and re-enable my connection Wi - Fi 3 or 4 times and network is established.
But when I connect it to my laptop through LAN IE with cable and internet, then falling at all.
my modem is kept near my laptop and some time wireless connection is lost again.
Q1] this update will allow you to solve my wireless problem?
Q2] I will proceed with this update or not?
Q3] or how to solve my wireless problem because it cuts every 2-3 hours.
--------------------------------------------------
Why it dint find my device in my system. why it showed this error this device is unknown or unsported for Graphics Driver, Audio driver for motherboard Intel and Wired Networking
--------------------------------------------------
Good bye
Hi Siva,
You used the Intel® driver update utility to check the cell for the driver updates.
As regards to the Nvidia Geforce card goes, it would be desirable to obtain the latest drivers from the Nvidia site.
http://www.nvidia.com/download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
We cannot be certain as to why cable and audio network drivers cannot be identified.
Because the utility identified Intel as an update of the driver is available, you can go ahead and install the update.
It may or may not solve the problem.
If there have not been any changes made to the system, it might be issue with the router as well where it could be disconnect you.
To proceed with the update of the driver.
Let us know if it solves the problem.

TECRA S2 when battery charging, Wireless drops every 5 min
Hi, I have a very annoying problem.
When I'm surfing wireless at home I have no problem, but when I start to charge my battery, wireless turning off every 2 minutes or so to reconnect immediately.
This problem does not exist when I am in charge battery next to the wireless router. Only when I'm in the living room.
Is that what someone else has this problem or is - someone has a solution for this?

The wireless network card supports different options. In the Wlan card properties, you should find a tab advanced.
There you can change different settings. Please try to disable the power save option WLan Card.I don't know if it helps but you know train is free ;) m

Wireless network connection drops every few minutes after windows update.
Original title: dropped internet connection
I had trouble with my laptop give up wireless connection. Received a patcha and everything was fine until the last windows update auto. Same problem again. I have to constantly reset the wifi. I run a diagnosis and I get the message that the wireless adapter has been corrected, but it won't always stay connected. VERY frustrating.
Hi Ccolvin3,
Windows can be disable your network adapter to save power. Disable the power saving option in the network adapter properties. To do this, try the following steps.
a. Click Start, type devmgmt.msc and press to enter.
b. in the list of objects, expand network adapters.
c. double-click the sub element that means wireless network cards.
d. click the power management tab.
e. uncheck all options on the power management tab.
f. apply the settings, and then restart the computer to check the difference.
We recommend that you also download and install the latest driver for the card from the device manufacturer's Web site or system wireless.
Download and install the latest service pack on the computer. See this article for more information:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/935222

WRT54G2 disconnects every 5-7 hours or more...
I have the WRT54G2 connected to a cable modem 2203 Scientific Atlanta on a 8MB cable connection. The WRT54G2 is wired 2 PCs and use wireless on a 3rd PC. I used the Setup Wizard to install the WRTG54G2, also using Network Magic Pro. All values are default, and I am using WPA2 security and helped the network Network Magic Pro lock. I recently updated the firmware of 1.0.03. After the upgrade of the firmware I have reset the router to the factory settings (through the interface of the browser and the back of the router itself). When I did the reset of the router itself, all computers where power off and disconnect all cables. I reconnected everything, booted up and re-configured the WRT54G2 from scratch. Everything works fine. The problem is that the WRT54G2 disconnects (without any reason) the modem cable every 5-7 hours or more. None of the PC can access the Internet, and I need to turn off the router, wait 10 to 15 seconds, then turn it back on. Everything is fine. Is this normal? What can I do in order to have an internet connection without interruption?
The router is in line with the modem for over 48 hours now. I'll assume cloning address MAC did the trick. See the link above.

Satellite A100-784 stops every 2-3 hours
My laptop stops every 2-3 hours.
I checked the battery and power cord - it was normally. It seems that some device has been disabled. What should I do?
What do you mean by low shout very often?
Do you see a blue screen error message or just sometimes happens without any error message?Description looks you a bit like an overheating problem. What do you think about this?
Usually, if the temperature is too high, that the laptop stops down to prevent material damage!
This could happen if the cooling modules n t runs correctly or if the air is moving! One question; have you tried to reinstall the OS using the recovery CD?

Why my laptop keep it close itself every half an hour or two?
my laptop for some reason any guard to stop itself every half an hour or so, any advice will be appreciated.
thnks.Hello Ryankahlon,
Is the laptop to stop or restart?
If it restarts, then this could be an indication that we receive a blue screen and the machine is restarted before you can actually see.
If this is the case, we must do the following:
- Zipper upward the contents of the C:\windows\minidumps folder.
- Send the zip file in a public folder on http://skydrive.live.com.
- Post the link on this thread so that we can look at landfills.
If the machine is simply stop, then this could be a hardware problem. We could also have a scheduled task updates to run every half hour which stops the machine.
Let us know if it is restart or stop and go from there, we will go.
Best regards

Satellite Pro L300-156 - WLAN connection drops every 12 hours
Hello!
I have a short model "Toshiba Satellite Pro L300-156" (PSLB1E).
The system state is:
I used the recovery CD (to install Windows XP and other software on this CD).
I've upgraded to the latest version of the BIOS (1.50, 10/07/2008) for my laptop and I downloaded all updates for Windows XP.
I installed the latest WLAN driver for my WIFI (Realtek RTL8187B) card. The problem is still there:
Every 12 hours (exactly on the minute!) drops connections.
Not only the Internet, but the local connection.
It is even a kind of matrices. Both a connection to a local computer and "mIRC" (ssh/telnet-program) to "PuTTY" (program-chat-IRC) says "network error caused abortion of software".
These ping connections not, they die instantly in a tenth of a second.
Hello
I guess it can be caused by a 3rd third party tool that was installed on your laptop.
I mean it of really strange that disconnected EXCATLY after 12 hours of use.
"I have goggled a bit for the message: network error: Software caused connection abort."
And found that this error is displayed if the Windows network code decides that your network connection is dead. This will happen when you remove the cable network Ethernet-connected computer, or if Windows has any other reason to believe the entire network has become unreachable.I think you should check the settings of your WLan router. My router refresh / disconnects after 23,59 hours to ensure that the IP address has changed.

HP G72 Broadcom wireless disconnect every hour
I have 2 computers in my room. HP pavilion all-in-one W7 (works fine) and a laptop HP G72 W7. My problem is the following: each time my wireless back on my laptop but never does on my all-in-one as well telling me this isn't my modem in the other room. It uses the Broadcom driver version 5.60.350.23 802.11b/g/n 4313
How can I solve this problem?
Hello @jcald1274 ,
Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand that the wireless adapter is oddly on your book one. I apologize for the inconvenience, but I'll do my best to help you!
There could be a number of causes of this problem. I will deal with all these a few troubleshooting methods. To start to solve the problem, try the procedure described in this document from HP: troubleshooting your wireless network and Internet access (Windows 7)
These measures should be sufficient to solve the problem. It covers all the bases, which are able to solve the issue if the cause is something simple.
If this does not help, you can try a manual reinstall of the wireless adapter driver. Because the adapter is having a problem, this will determine whether or not it is a driver conflict, or something else:
1. go in Device Manager, then the network cards.
2. right click on the wireless driver and select "Uninstall".
3. restart the computer. This will force the driver to resettle.
As a final check, try to connect the computer to the router with an Ethernet cable. This can help, because the problem may only be with the wireless adapter.
Please let me know your results. Thank you!

E3000 removes all connections every 2-6 hours
Every few hours the router removes all connections, wireless and wireline, and then they return to the minute. I thought initially the router itself was restart due to overheating, but solve any chance who did not stop the problem. I tried a lot of things, but I really have no idea what could cause a problem like that. Any ideas would be very useful because I'm quite confused.
Open the router configuration page and reduce the MTU to 1400 and click on save settings... Cycle power to the router and check.

SG300 - 28 p: POE power drops every few minutes
Hi all
We have a SG300 - 28 p which, at intervals between 5 and 30 minutes or more, lower power to all its ports POE-powered and then immediately restores power. Switch logs nothing when this happens other than to record that the ports went down and back up, even with debug logging enabled. Non - POE ports are not affected.
When the problem started there were only four POE devices on the switch and we are far under our power budget. (During the test, I added a fifth device, see below.)
Not all combinations of devices cause the drops occur - specifically, it seems that having devices on ports next to each other causing the drops. When the drops occur, absent the increment of POE devices all counters. I noticed this thread earlier here seemed similar:
https://supportforums.Cisco.com/thread/2165089
but in this case, he got no power at all in the adjacent configurations, instead of having to drop all the several minutes.
I am running

I have the 1.2.2.7.6 ready to go new firmware, I will update this when I get a chance to test it. Unfortunately, it's a switch of production, but it's a with relatively few devices to it so far. If need be, I have a sf300 - 48P I can exchange this sg300 ENJOI trials.

I disabled Green Ethernet completely - no change.

Hi Rich, reference this photo I just drew is a rough interpretation of how a switch 24 ports has guts. Each + block represents a processor. The numbers below represent the port Bank that corresponds to the transformer. Of course, MODULE POE is clearly identified. Each module 12 POE ports for services.
I think you have a completely different question. If the POE works for 5 to 30 minutes, it can be a problem of layer 1 (bad son) or a different, perhaps material condition being disturbed. If the switch is at fault, it seems more likely to be defective to a unit of buggy. I did a lot of research on the operation of the switch ASIC, transformer and modules of POE in the cohesion.
Quite frankly, I think you should go to the 1.2.7.76 firmware, factory reset the device and test all the ports you want using the same equipment. If maintaining the POE fall every 5 to 30 minutes and you are absolutely positive, that it is not a question of layer 1 or a configuration problem on your products, can I just replace the switch.

is there a way to correct so I don't have to do that every time I start my computer?
Thank you
Noelle,
You can go to Device Manager and remove the wireless network adapter. Then go to the website for the manufacturer of PC and download the downloaded current drivers. Then restart your PC, and after that he finds the card even once use the new drivers with it and see if that helps.

SL510 then reconnects wireless Drops
Hello.. I am a new user of Lenovo and need help. My new SL510 (2847-9XU) has a signal strength of 99% of reading and is connected to 54Mbps. suddenly, the connection drops. A few seconds later, he reconnects on its own. This repeated regularly.
I enabled the wireless diagnostics logging. I don't know how to read the information, but the disconnection and reconnection activity can easily been seen by the reds entered in the journal.
I'd appreciate any help, or at least how to record a real support for this request. Can I send the paper to someone to take a look?

I tried to change the energy saving settings, and that has not changed the problem.
Which seems not to have worked, however, is that I found a checkbox in Access Connections/Options that says "allow the WLAN radio be turned off when idle." I unchecked which and the problem has been corrected.
Thanks for your suggestions.
