HP G6 2005AX: question card mother/basis/case hinges, now I need to pay an amount equal to laptop for repair.

Hello HP,.

My laptop is completely useless after 3 years of normal use.

I sent an email to the HP service center after they sent me heavy price quote as follows:

Fix for fraction very price at a local mobile shop, which set the motherboard by replacing a few shorted out chips with new ones, replaced the hinges and fixed same base compound and finally got.

This saved buying me a new laptop + Win10 pro which will not come with most of the new laptops.

Nobody called me using HP's India team.

in any case thank you Jeffhelp and kevin-T.

Hi I was wondering the card mother D20 does support Geforce SLI? Ordinary GPU not of Quadros?

Also I was wondering what is the shape of the motherboard? Is it E - ATX or ATX?

    Welcome to the forum

SLI is only supported by Quadro in workstations. It is a limitation by NVidia, not Lenovo. Very few applications workstation (CAD/DCC/oil/gas/etc) supports either benefit from SLI anyway so diminishes the need of this.

Map of the D20 system is a layout owner but closer to E - ATX. You need to change your D20 chassis if you are planning a Board from the aftermarket. The spacers will be the biggest obstacle with wiring being a close second.

  • Question card mother T30

Hello. Sorry for posting this again, but I couldn't find my old thread.  I have a t30 with a dead mobo and a t30 with a good mobo.

the bad news: we had a trackpad (dead mobo), the other not (good mobo). can I swap the hoses and have a trackpad?

    EDIT:

    http://img258.imageshack.us/my.php?image=t30mbjuly211yg3.jpg

I found this image of my next motherboard. I circled what I seek in red. This is the connector that the trackpad used on my death. can I just plug this one instead? That's my understanding came from this t30 not all with the option "ultranav", but that means of not able to the motherboard?

SOLVED! I had today and fixed my t30! My advice didn't come with a trackpad, but I swapped the case and bingo! I got a restored T30! Switch to the X 86 operating system on this one project!

  • How to replace the card mother, processor and memory in my office without having to buy a new code for Win 7 Utimimate detail?

In January, my original motherboard died and I replaced the jury only with other printed device using all my old components. When I started to the top of the first time I was warned that my version of Win7 is not valid. (I had used since I bought it in August 2010 without any problem) So I bought a new Windows 7 Ultimate full retail Microsoft online to get going again. Now, 3 months later, it's blue, screening and stop randomly. The Board of Directors, the memory and cpu are all about 7 years and I want to update the new and updated components. How can I do this without having to spend another $207 for a new copy of Windows 7?

When you transfer the license to a new motherboard, reactivate just by phone, as you said that it is a full commercial license:

How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)

    1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

    (2) press the ENTER"" key.

    (3) select your "country" in the list.

    (4) choose the option "activate phone".

    (5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.

    (6) explain your problem clearly to the support person.

  • Card mother H-IG41uATX HP works @ 1066 Mhz with single 2GB 1333 Mhz RAM

    Hello

    My card mother H-IG41uATX HP works @ 1066 Mhz with single 2GB 1333 Mhz RAM (Apacer PC-10600) @ 7-7-7-20.

    BIOS is Version 6.08, 07/07/2011.

BIOS it detected as PC-8500. CPUZ shows like PC-10700 work clocked at 533 Mhz (= 1066 MHz DDR).

The processor is Intel Pentium Core 2 Duo E 8400 3.06 GHz with FSB 1333 MHz.

    WIndows 7 operating system

    1. Why does is not able 1333 Mhz motherboard @ full speed?

    2 working memory @ 1066 MHz @ 7-7-7-20 VS memory work @ 1333 MHz @ 9-9-9-24, which is better?

    Khelifi

Sure... While theoretically fastest speed of memory should be faster, there is little or no difference in the overall performance of the memory. The memory CASE latency generally increases the rated speed increases. Latency means basically 'backwardness' and this latency to counterbalance the gain by increasing the speed. Still, you would never notice a difference between the two.

Does anyone have a default Toshiba satellite 1900-102 with a card mother work and is willing to sell?

Or does anyone know where to find that?

    Hi Erdl,

I think this is the wrong forum to ask questions about buying used and portable defects! I understand toshiba as well as this forum is only for technical user to help!

In my opinion, you will have more luck at ebay or used equipment selling home pages!

  • 8200 elite format microtour, need of care technique for card mother/PSU

    Hello.

I'm upgrading of the power supply in my Hp Compaq 8200 Elite format microtour.

The /PSU motherboard uses an archaic connector that looks like a connector 6-pin inline with to the (http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b225/r4ch3t/Aux-connector-148x200.gif). But it is connected with 4 wires (red/white, white, green, purple)

To upgrade the PSU, I need to find a way to connect it to the new motherboard, but I can't find any information or datasheet for the motherboard or the power supply.

    Motherboard:

    SP #611834-001

    DG #611794-000

    PSEYU0JCY0W197

    AS #611793-003

    ALTERNATIVE NUMBER: 613764-001

Where can I find more information about the card mother/PSU?

What is the connector? It is standardized in some way?

What is the combo of tensions/soil necessary for the pins?

    Thank you

  • The card mother MS-7184 (AmethystM) in my old HP PC takes in AHCI mode?

First of all, thank you for taking the time to read my post!

I recently bought an OCZ Aligity 4 256 GB SSD drive. I want to use the SSD as drive replacing the original hard drive in my old HP Pavilion Media Center TV m7334n desktop PC. Here is the link to my pc:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/product?cc=us&LC=en&DLC=en&product=1821850

I know that the motherboard identified on the Web site above for this model of PC is A8AE-(AmberineM), but the motherboard I have is MS-7184 (AmethystM), the specifications of the motherboard is here:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c00378480

I updated the BIOS with the latest version (3.47, 03/03/2006) I can found on the HP website. In the BIOS, I can't find any info on the AHCI support. My questions are:

1 - is the card mother MS-7184 (AmethystM) in my old HP Pavilion Media Center TV m7334n Desktop PC support AHCI mode?

    2. how to configure CMOS when I use the SSD as my main drive on the old HP computer?

Note Please that I have aleady copy drive hard whole orginal on the new SSD and I started my computer on the new SSD. This works. I have another post questions on the recovery of the system on the SSD, the post is here:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/desktop-operating-systems-e-g/system-recovery-doesn-t-work-on-cloned-SS...

    Thank you!

    You are the very welcome.

I leave these settings at their default values.

You have the SSD connected to sata port, and it must operate to the maximum 150 Mbps transfer speed, 133 or 100 no matter what readings are displayed, as would an IDE drive.

The problem is that since there is no AHCI setting, the drive cannot enjoy the native command files or TOPPING.

Aside from that, an SSD should be better that a standard SATA I mechanical drive or IDE hard drive.

Even subjectively, you should 'see' a difference in sensitivity of disc, not you?

Improved time, faster startup time for research, for example.

  • Remove cover Acer Aspire card mother z3 - 600 thermal shield

Remove cover Acer Aspire card mother z3 - 600 thermal shield to upgrade memory

I have an Acer Asipre Z3-600-UB16 and that you need to upgrade the RAM, but need to Remover the heat shield covers on the motherboard / RAM.

I have already pulled the rear plastic cover, stand, removed the hard drive and the accessible screws that hold the screen cover / heat on the mother/RAM card.  It seems that additional disassembly is necessary, but there is absolutely zero information on the internet or even Youtube disassembly of this unit and nothing available for a repair or even simple images or patterns.

Does anyone have video or written documents showing the additional steps on the removal of the cover (or heat shield) for the motherboard / RAM. Worst case, may have to cut a hole in the metal cover to get to the RAM/memory.

    Hello

    1. Remove the battery:
Remove 1 screw from the battery door
Lift the top edge of the battery holder
Lift to remove the battery holder

    2. Remove the shield of the motherboard:
Remove the 10 screws on the shield of the motherboard
Lift the lower part of the shield of the motherboard
Push the shield of the motherboard before the release of the fins of the heat, lift to remove the shield.
